My phone is SIM unlocked but seems to be application locked. It keeps asking me to unlock it. i am at attempt 8/8.
I read through some of the threads and downloaded the HTCUnlockInstaller.cab, but no app to run to do the CID unlock.
It's a HTC S620 (it is not a T mobile or anyother brand name)
and i also do not have the software to create a sync between the phone and my computer, anywhere i can find and download it?
Can anyone help me out on this?

The phone has Windows Mobile 5,
The ROM version is 1.15.515.1
Radio Version 4.1.13.42_02.89.90
And it doesn't seem to has any upgrade, so I don't believe it was a mistake in the installation or something. What do you think???

Where did you see the post to fix this? Maybe we can help you with the directions if we read the post.
it was for the wizard device...... i already contact jogw99 haven't receive reply from him.
BTW it was because they want to unlock the device for 3rd party applications and something goes wrong. I only want to unlock the device for Any SIM use.
AND I HAVE THE CODE........... The deal is that i don't know why it came like that. I haven't touched at all....

The following should solve your problem.
Good luck !
A) flashing ANY new ROM as CROSS-MODEL-ID update
B) Fix the "Data crashes"
In case you have problems please indicate the step letter/number which is not clear / not working for you.
Just do EVERYTHING EXCAT STEP BY STEP and everything will work.

A)
Please do it EXACT step by step like described now and it will work (it is ESSENTIAL that you do it EXACT STEP BY STEP)
0) turn off antivirus/firewall/everything else running in background
1) start phone in windows, connect active sync (green circle in system tray of your pc)
2) start the unlocker (phone screen will turn white, active sync will disconnect, THIS IS NORMAL)
3) when asked for KEY-FILE or COMM ERROR#1 comes up WAIT 2 MINUTES (DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING)
4) DO NOT TOUCH PHONE AT ALL for ALL the next steps!!!
5) remove USB cable
6) close the unlocker on PC
7) reconnect USB cable
8) unpack the "RUU_Excalibur_TMO_US_1.20.531.1_4.1.13.34_02.79.90_Test.exe"
(right click on the .exe and select "Winzip->Unzip to folder..."
9) in the extracted folder you will find a file called like "RUU_signed.nbh" (.NBH), open it with HEX EDITOR (e.g. HexWorkshop) and locate the string like "EXCA20000" near the beginning of the file. Change it to "EXCA****" (all without the quotes, overwrite the DIGITS with STARS)
10) in the extracted folder you will find a file called like "RUU_Update.exe", open it with HEX EDITOR and SEARCH the string "BsaD5SeoA" and OVERWRITE it with "IMEICHECK" (all without the quotes)
11) start the just edited RUU_Update.exe now and make the ROM update (screen of phone will stay white ALL THE TIME, THIS IS NORMAL)
12) wait till update is complete and phone will start with the new ROM
13) To fix the "Data Crashes" problem just make a COMPLETE run of the unlocker (see B) ) and you are done.

I believe you use IMEICHECK unlocker, but it cost 40 bucks. I dont need unlock I need fix the Data Crashes and enter the unlock code that i already have.

For CID unlock, try this.
Try the USPL-CID BYPASS to see what happend.
When the screen turn white, choos the rom you want.
hi guys, sorry but my GF changed boot security code in her G8 and then forgot it, so now she can't reach anymore the homescreen (so can't access any data!). that's her phone i swear!
completely stock untouched huawei mm fw, no root, BL locked.
i think in bootloader/fastboot mode i can factory reset to get rid of the boot security, but this way I'm afraid I'll delete all her data from internal sdcard? that would be a disaster, as she have plenty of pictures of our baby taken in the last few months! (
do you know if i can bypass this security someway?

I used my phone like everday and suddenly all apps not working.
Facebook stopped working.
Messenger stopped working.
Android stopped working
etc..
So i restart my phone, and show me "Decrypt Password storage" i never set password or something like this.
I pulled out SD Card, SIM Card without changes.
And now i want unlock bootloader for flash system, but i cant, for unlock bootloader i need set in Call from "NO" to "YES".
In Emergency call not working others numbers only for Firefighers, doctors etc..
I have code for unlock bootloader i try unlock in flash tool by sony and "(remote: Command did not succeed)" same if i use "adb".
Bad situtation, can someone help me?

No you cant do anything ....you have to change emmc from a repair centre then only it would work....I suggest you buy a new mobile cause it comes costly or if you have anyone that has the same phone but has other problems with his phone take its emmc and get it repaired on a repairing shop

I need help regarding a Redmi Note 8 that no longer accepts the correct pattern and is locked.
I'm looking for a solution that would allow me to either unlock my phone without data loss, or make a backup of the phone's internal storage on an sd card/pc before hard resetting.
The device is not rooted and I don't have custom recovery installed. USB Debugging is on, but my laptop is not authorized.
With Adb, the device is detected but unauthorized. It seems to be detected normally in fastboot mode. I was able to get my laptop to detect it in recovery mode by clicking on "Connect with MIAssistant" while it was plugged in, but only in sideload mode. I also somehow managed to get into safe mode, but I used the stock screen lock, so unless there's something else that can be done in that mode, it doesn't seem useful in this situation.
I tried the actual MIAssistant software but it tells me to update my device before connecting. From what I found, this is because it doesn't even work with phones running Android 6.0 Marshmallow or above, so that seems to be a dead-end, unfortunately. Downloaded from here, updated to version 3.2.1.3111. If there's a newer version that could support my device, even an untranslated one, I would love to know, but I couldn't find a working one.
I had some ideas that could potentially solve my problem, but couldn't find a way to actually execute them, so here they are in case someone out there who knows more than me could help me with one of them.
1, Is there any way I could authorize my laptop for USB Debugging without being able to accept the prompt on screen?
2, Is there a way to make a backup of the internal storage of my phone in fastboot/sideload mode?
3, Is there a way to get adb to detect this device normally in recovery mode, instead of in sideload mode?
4, Is there a way to get my device into mtp/ptp mode instead of charging mode when connected to a PC without USB Debugging so I can copy my files?
5, Here's a thread I found that seems promising, although it's old. Could I somehow use this, or a similar method on Redmi Note 8? The Recovery Mode is much more limiting on this device, unfortunately, so I can't exactly follow this tutorial. Are there alternatives that can be done in adb fastboot/sideload mode, perhaps?
6, If I am forced to hard reset, is there any software out there that could recover at least some of the deleted data afterwards, or is everything lost in case of a reset?
I am open to new ideas not listed above, as well. I am not a very advanced user so I probably missed some things.

Updated with extra info in case anyone else has any ideas.
Even if you can copy your files to PC, they are problably unusable because of encryption.
That is why you need that pattern
For security this is exactly what you want, if your phone is lost or stolen.

Do you mean that the reason it doesn't accept the correct pattern anymore is for security? I would have thought it would still accept the correct one, at least after several tries of the same thing. Being completely locked out even when you know the correct password is a little strange to me.

Howdy bro (I also have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8).
I've been almost two intense weeks reading and watching the XDA forum, trying somehow and I did not find the way to unlock it .... Besides that I have the Bootloader disabled it makes me more difficult, because for that I need to format my phone and is what I do not want ....
