[REQ] Skype integration with Manila - Touch HD Themes and Apps

After the recent upgrades to the Manila have led to successful Facebook integration, I wonder if it's possible to integrate with Skype too, i.e. each contact's Skype details are stored so you can call them (using VOIP) through the Contacts tab

[IDEA] New Manila Tab dir change for messaging?

On the email tab and message tab, Is it possible to rediret the command (when pressing the message) to the new manila contacts tab, which has messaging preview and composing? Much better then the outlook.
I wondered the same. One drawback is that viewing the messages in this "app" doesn't mark the messages as read :/
intresting point, surely if you can change the regisitry for that you could add one to mark the message as read?
New Manila is becoming close to how well the iphone apps are intergrated, ashame the largest software company in the world (no names mentioned) who has been develpoing this for years has failed to put a seemless ui together.... very sad.. that calender, outlook and contacts are so lame looking and functions, its looked and worked the same for years.

SmS Application?

Im running xplodes MW6.5 on xda lls. I use Iconsoft Phone Extension to manage my contacts which is great (interface and usage), what annoys me is text messaging, its so long winded on ppc. Is there an application you can use that would duplicate your sms and use the info to run its own app(writing, sending) . The windows interface of contacts and messaging leaves a lot to be desired! rga

Convert inbox messages to calendar entries and tasks

On my Touch Pro I had a CAB that allowed me to convert an inbox message to a calender entry or a task, but I can't seem to find it to add to my TP2. Does anyone have this?

Quest for the ultimate PIM...

There are a lot of Personal Information Managers available, and i have looked at many, but none of them fill my needs completely. Currently, I'm using many different apps to maintain my appointments, contacts and email, and still this is not perfect.
Currently, i'm using :
Improved Email (http://www.mwebster.us/) for my email needs (great subfolder support, handy overview of different exchange accounts, but no google account support);
The built In Gmail app (obvious only Gmail support)
Calendar Pad (the only calendar app which has the one-and-only useable week view (this one. All other month- and week views are totally unuseable in my opinion)
Android Agenda Widget (great customizing options, integrated view of appointments in all calendars with colour coding)
The built in appointments app when it comes to editing appointments
The built in contacts app
And still, this doesn't do it all:
- can't change exchange contacts details with the stock contacts app (only name)
- can't edit a lot of exchange appointments because they show up as meetings instead of appointments
- bugs in the built in Agenda app when opening all day & recurring events from an exchange account (events skipping a day forward, events becoming stretched over days).
My needs are:
- supporting two (or more) Exchange accounts
- support Google Calendar(s)
- widget showing apointments from all calendars in one view, showing the calendar colours
- email support for subfolders also
- contacts from Exchange and Google linked to the phones telephonebook
- full editing support of exchange items
- a week view of appointments like Calendar Pad
Touchdown brings back (bug free) editing of exchange contacts and appointments, but lacks a useable week view, and more important, only supports multiple exchange accounts by switching profiles (so agenda widgets like Pure Calendar only show appointments from one profile at a time and contacts in the phones telephonebook can only be edited if the appropiate profile is selected first in Touchdown. 2 dealbrakers IMHO). Also, searching the GAL (global adress list) on the exchange server doesn't always work.
Roadsync does support multiple exchange accounts, but only by editing the server credentials (which isn't real support imho).
So, Android is still lacking in business PIM support for me. Who knows of a PIM, which does it all?

Contact Managment

Hey,
Got a question....when I am in my contacts and groups I see at the top it says:
Not Assigned (22) then under that it reads:
Integrated groups and under that are my groups
Starred In Android
Co-Workers
Family
Friends
My contacts
No in Gmail contacts the only groups I have are starred in Android and My Contacts.
How do I remove Co-workers, family and friends
How do I remove the Integrated groups, I ONLY want Gmail contacts.
I did turn off all the other contacts from Skype, FB, etc....
Any and all information will be greatly appreciated.
Ciao~
Ok, I deleted SKYPE and that removed the not assigned contacts.....getting closer...
did you find a solution?,i dont want the standard groups as i want to make my own ones instead, i dont see why we must have stock ones when we can create groups
