Your opinion-The Best Rom developed for Diamond

I just wanted to know what you guys think about
all these Roms and your experience
with them.
There are so many good roms out there and
I don't have the time to try all of
them out, so if you have the time just to
say which rom you like,ok?
For I tried the Gen.Y R1.25 and I
must say I love it!!!

I tried other and loved them too!
Now, seriously, what do want to hear, when all you have to say about a rom is - I love it. very professional very specific.
Roms are like people - every one is different, and suits different person. So there's no "Best Rom". There's the one YOU like, and there's the one I like...

I got an idea for you....if your gonna answer a post like that, don't bother.
As for me im kinda new to this whole thing and am using the newest Energy rom. Nice and fast and with a few tweaks can be used without running out of memory

As you are a new member (based on your join date): WELCOME!
Perhaps when you stay with us a little longer, you will get to understand the sarcasm... (Too) many threads are started as a sort of chatroom instead of contributing to (in this case) Diamond ROM development. I agree that it isn't the end of the world but this forum is already cluttered as it is. Let's not make that any worse.
This, and the fact that the original threadstarter isn't a new member (again based on his join date) and should know better, makes me share the sarcasm you mentioned. I really don't share the sense of humour in making fun of somebodies ability to write in a foreign language.

There is no BEST ROM, every ROM has his own Strengths and Weaknesses.
Since everybody has different needs in a ROM, they will value a ROM differently.
The only way to find the ROM suitable for your needs is by trail and error.

From second sight - its looks like Inesoft Phone ver 6 (future relase) today plugin. Chome idea -looks better (asfm).
And is there any registry fix to make icon-buttons smaller?
I think they spend 3 years to be easly beaten by fresh Androids !

Yes, I looked for it (I like to make sure I'm not being rude to foreign members), but unfortunately that day xda showing any pictures so I couldn't tell. Now that I know, I will gladly change my post.

The bootanimation for eclair would have to be backported (as in re-rwitten) for donut. I am pretty sure this has not been done.

I'm pretty sure that it won't ever be done because it would take forever to do it and by the time we do (if we even could) all the devices would be on 2.1+ by that time so it wouldn't even be worth it.

You could, however, try to get HTC bootanimations to run on donut. I think ben will have htc framework on the next release of SuperD...
and there is a workingdonut eclair around (the one from tatoo, wrong resolution, but hte only thing oyu need is the boot screen...)
Yet it won't be easy...

[Q] New GPU drivers on Sense ROMs?

Hi guys!
I just rooted my Desire today and tried out OpenDesire,LeeDroid mod 2 and Cyanogenmod 6.For me,Sense is superior to vanilla.However,I'd like to see the performance gains that the new GPU drivers give to the vanilla roms in a Sense rom.They are a lot smoother and give a nicer feel overall.Is that possible?

But the GPU-thing sounds really cool. I always thought that CM 6.1 is running so fast because it hasn't got Sense on it

They have managed to install Android in RAM!
I'm rooting for our XDAndroid devs as well!

We only have 288mb of RAM... Not sure it'll be such a good idea, when tmous HD2's have 1gb...

HD2 only has 576MB. It's still more, but nowhere near as large of a gap
Regardless, it looks like the OS in his build is eating up more RAM than we even have in our devices (296MB). Oh well, I guess we'll just have to keep dreaming of 100% NAND boot instead

Oh did I mixup RAM and ROM there...? I thought the tmous HD2's had a gig of RAM, but now that I think about it more that's probably a gig of ROM. Ah well...
Either way, probably not possible with our crappy old phones

we can always dream right? Plus with everything going on the the 3d drivers and EXT2, we will soon have a pretty stable and speedy package.

Oh yea, the progress devs are making at present is very impressive. Plus with WisTilt2 back, things can only snowball and move even faster! Gotta love it.
