If you want to install the different color call progress background to match your color theme, i have included that in each color theme zip! example: if you install the black Carousel and want the black call progress background, you will find a file called "HTC_CallProgressBkg_320x186.bmp" in the Carouselblack.home.zip, copy that file to your phone's windows directory and reboot, thats it, same with the other colors, if you want red you will find "HTC_CallProgressBkg_320x186.bmp" in the Carouselred.home.zip and so on...

I like the theme a lot as well as the tweaks, but I had to turn smarttoolkit off because while it's awesome it sometimes freezes or doesn't respond. Great job on the theme though, it'd be nice if you could reach the com manager from the main screen and if it had a quick launch.

are you using the version i have uploaded? ive been using it for 2 days now and it works flawlessly , did not freeze or stop responding on me at all.

good idea, i can add another line to the bottom of the theme under missed calls, maybe it will say "ComManager" or something like that, but how do i just add a text link to it?

Using it now. Looks great. The only thing is that the time and date look out of place on the left, at least compared to the great look of the right side of the homescreen.
I've also had issues with smarttoolkit but I'll give this version a try.

Hello Aldech, can i just ask, can this theme be used on the HTC Elf (wm6) sorry if this is a silly question

no, it can not, this is only a smartphone theme, it doesnt work on a touch screen win mobile, unless there is a way to implement it that i dont know of

Having problems with smarttoolkit again, can't read text messages. The list of text messages comes up but it won't open any of them. Also if i select messages on the desktop, battery information comes up.

how can i make it so smarttoolkit starts up when my phone starts up?

wired i dont have problems with mine at all, im using the HTC rom and so far smartoolkit been working great for the past 3 days now

Yea, I used the version you uploaded. Its a really nice program but on my dash for some reason it would freeze and certain things wouldn't work sometimes. I'll try it again now that I'm using the HTC rom and the phone is generally running smoother. I hope you keep working on this theme, it's one of the best I've seen.

This is the reason everybody took the SmarToolKit off their device in the beta stage of development. It's still doing the Mr. Freeze!

FANTASTIC THEME!
I am really enjoying using it....
I do have one request/suggestion....
On the home screen, could you make the highlight of what "section" you are in more apparent?
i.e. The switch between Profile, Messaging, and Missed Calls.
If you can make it more apparent which one the cursor is on would be a HUGE improvement. The highlight doesn't seem to be much of a delta between the one you are on and the one you are not on.... The "Messaging" one doesn't even change when you are "on it"

i can but if i do, when you highlight for example profile or missed calls, if i make them bigger, they will be out of place, i will give it a shot when i get home and let you know, and for the messaging part, the work "messaging" is actually just a picture with the background its not really active.

IMO, you might want to look at removing "messaging" from the wallpaper and make it part of the home screen so it can be highlighted by either changing colors or making it bold. That would also open up changing wallpaper but keeping your layout.

Alphanuma 1.0 — Dial with Style.

UPDATED: Multiple Skins, see bottom of this post.

Completely replace the carrier and MS branding on the dialer, outgoing call and incoming call screens with Alphanuma 1.0 When you are placing a call, or trying to remember which numbers to use to spell someone's name in a voicemail system, glance at the top of the screen to see the classic touch tone letter guide (since it isn't printed on the s620).
Example 2 abc - 3 def - 4 ghi - 5 jkl - 6 mno - 7 pqrs - 8 tuv - 9 wxyz​
The graphics are seamless (no wigglies!) from screen to screen, including the optional wallpaper.
Contents of the cabinet:
Replacement for the small banner that says "smartphone" on an unbranded HTC, or shows the Carrier's graphic logo on most branded models.
Even smaller replacement for the carrier's text on the screen that comes up when you your call is connecting/connected.
Backgrounds for both the incoming call/ring and outgoing call/connected, with color changes, since the two screens have opposite text color. Backgrounds include the same aligned numeric guide, so that it appears consistent, even where a contact photo or other graphic might cause the carrier logo replacement to clip.
Registry key to make sure that the phone looks for the right file for the dialer screen, in case you want to use it on a branded phone, though it works by default on ROMs based on an unbranded HTC image.
A matching, text-less homescreen wallpaper in \Applications\Home, for optional use.
Known issues:
You must reboot (soft-reset) to use. Sometimes the installation tells you this, sometimes it doesn't!
Sometimes it is listed in the remove programs menu, even after removal.

LOL, I just can't get down with the current slim styles, and have been trying to perfect Alphanuma, as well as find/tune decent art that is legal to use, the last few days instead of playing with Cpanel tweaks. I would actually like one with shadow sized panels, weather in a tab, change-on the fly panel colors, and automatic detection of most called ppl, most visited links and a MRU but I'm a looo-o-o-o-o-oong way from figuring even a tiny bit of all that out.

Cool, I'm really glad it has a fan, since it took a while. I originally just wanted a plain dialpad, but then I had to expand to all the above because it kept changing if the person had a contact thumb or not, and if they called me instead.
I will make some more, since I've got the base image in layers, smart guides measured, and a complete action set stored. I need at least one that is more tech and one that is hot. And maybe something artsy.
Hope I never switch to a portrait phone!

I'll investigate setup.dll.
I attempted to use WinCE Cab Manager, but I'll just say it doesn't like my computer.
UPDATE: I think that is the PPIC nagbox. For now, I am going to focus on the artwork side, will look for another Cab solution later.

Here... I removed setup.dll from your cab and now it JUST installs your artwork in the correct directories (mostly /windows )

Put up a deep red theme, with some tricky gradients between the screens.
It looks like there is only 8 attachments allowed. Per Post? I reduced the number of thumbnails to allow more styles, but I may have to hijack the top of Post 3.

It's dilemma, it's de limit, it's deluxe, it's "De-Grungely"
Last one for the night. Boy, this sure would look good with dark cpanels between brown text and the background!

Secondly, and I hope it´s not too much to ask for, but would you be so kind to make 2 .cab files with the attached images as background, using the dialpad from the Clouds set or another one you find more suiting (from your posts, I can see you have very good taste! ).
Both photos I took in my honeymoon in Greece (Santorini) and I use them as my background/wallpaper, alternating...

Profezza would it be possible for you to come up with a cab that returns the alpha numeric dialing? you know dialing 1-800-get-mine actuallys dials 1-800-438-6463 so that there is not even a need for the alpha numeric keypad to be displayed? Or if someone can point me in the right direction I would be willing to put this app together.

Here I made some backgrounds for all tabs for blackstone .... you just need to deactivate touch dlo 3d and to copy all manila files into your memory card and then using resco explorer to copy them in /Windows. At the end reactivate your touch flo 3d and voila....it works

Im sorry.. i thought everyone knew...
When you install the background4AllTabs, everything works fine, excet for the manila menues... like All Programs, stocks, Music Player etc and the rest which have the default white background to a height of only 640. The Touch HD has a height of 800 so this leaves a transparent gap of about 160px which is annoying because the programs and items are still lsited.. just no white background.. gives it a very dirty look... there are screenshots in another thread... but i dont have one to be able to post...

So as I mentioned, cutting pixels frm the hight of the pic bg is not useful. Touch HD adjusts spare pxls. So if U cut pic, in the TF3D bg there's an ugly blank black stripe which is clearly visible at "no curtains" app
So I think better keep the orig size and do not cut, but just resize to 515x512. Thnks

you should copy all manila files i included.....the ones new are fixed and you don't have problems on stock,music player and programs...so please....read my instructions and copy all manila files i included on the files.....don't trust to those people who adds only one file.....just see my instructions i posted here before and copy all manila files and you wont have any problems!!!!

It seems you have the 1 pixel offset from the top as well? Didn't you noticed it? You can "see" it better if you set the same background for the home tab (in TF3D settings) and use the same background for the other tabs (copying the appropiate manila files).
Thus the fixed background for all tabs is still not 100% fixed? See my attachments. I'm using your manila files and picture.

The Xperia theme is great!! But it could be more yellow/red and less pink/green. Just a thought.

is it possible to have a full screen background?
I mean it's always reduce with the black of the top bar

1>The crystal edition aims at making ur screen transparent.More transparency means the more you can see ur panoramic background!!
2>You get completely transparent sliders.Top and down.
3>The slider is a unique creation and is ahead of all other transparent slider.I have not given up where other people have failed.The uniqueness is that when u slide on ur icons there is no pop up icon on the icon bar.So the slider gives the effect of being completely tranparent.But at the same time.Ur big icons in the centre do appear.So u dont loose out on ur icons!

Yes it can be changed.You will find a number of backgrounds already posted for it in this thread through the pages by a number of member.All of them are my favourite.

There are three files.Each file is 512 X 512 pixels.
The first file contains the first 512 X512 of your picture.
The next file contains the next 512X 512 and the last the third part of your picture.
.I have uploaded a picture underneath to explain what i am trying to say along with the file names
.Open the files in manila editor and replace the pic with your own.

i forgot to put those files in the cab..il put it soon..

rotastrain, after I did that it still remained on my touchflo3D when I turned it on.
Not saying that I want it removed, it's really good and i'm loving the red car!!

i have installed it and works nice, but have two problems:
1.) home screen stays the way as it was before with the exception of glass clock. I have default smabergs wallpaper instead of the panoramic one. As soon as I click the home icon to slide it to the right the panoramic wallpapers shows up as it is supposed to
2.) Is there a way to make the background high quality. I made a picture from the wallpaper which is 1800x1440 but I somehow managed to make it pixelated

I am using Smabergs Touch X 6.1 ROM if that could be the reason.

Ok..the roms the reason for sure..il need to work on it..il tell u which files i need k..have you made ur wallpaper default?if not make it and see if it solves the problem..
please uninstall my stuff and THEN post file called 5c9aa261_manila here.so i can do something bout it
One question..
1>When you move to another tab can you see th panoramic image?

OK, I have uninstalled everything and here is the file that was left behind.
I can see the panoramic picture as soon as I touch the slider (which is transparent as it should be) even if I am still on thehome screen. When I let go I get the usual home screen. all other tabs display the panoramic wallpaper correctly.
EDIT:
I have looked in your other thread and installed the nontransperent version. I like it better than crystal variant. The problem persist but I have found a temporary solution that works quite well - I set my home wallpaper to the first .png used in panoramic wallpaper.

I tried the cab to change the clock color but it was still black after I install it.... then I tried placing the files from the zip to windows but still nothing changes?? am I doing something wrong?

Install
1. Ok first, if you do not already have it installed, install No Curtains, you don't have to but I recomend it.
2. Install the Touch X startmenu transparent BG, this will make the startmenu fully transparent (looks realy good with this theme)
3. Install the Theme cab
4. If you like to use the HQ Wallpaper install the HQ cab
5. Set the Dark Woman Pic as Wallpaper for both Home and lockscreen
(6. May need to softreset)

Yeh really like this, very nice, installed it onto Miri Ver14 but I'm missing the clock mods and don't have 5 program shortcuts :s

tried this, the clock works now but i'm still getting the standard black icons for notifications. Where should you put the png's? in the windows folder?

what do you mean by "more color" this is supposed to be a black and white theme.
if you have an idea for a colorfull theme show me a wallpaper i could use.

you shouldn't do anything with the png's exept create manila files off theme
you have to copy the manila files of the notification icons into the windows folder. (you can't use the normal explorer for that, use Totalcomander)
if it still doesn't work, try my other notification theme link in my signature

Meant changing BLUE to GREEN ( clock, tab icons, noti icons..etc )

Great theme, but having two problems. The top bar hasn't changed (not transparent) and the bottom windows bar (Phone/Menu bar) hasn't changed either. Anyone else seeing problem with those or have any ideas why it's not working for me?

1. Have you softreset after installing the theme cab?
if you didn't do so else or if the problem remains
2. check with total comander what's the value of:

shoud be \Window\HDWall_softkeybar.png
and

\\\registry\HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Today\TaskBar\SoftKeyBarThemeImage
shoud be \Window\HDWall_taskbar.png
if the registry entry are those, check if the HDWall_... are the right pngs

Checked the registry values and they were the default ROM values. I checked my windows folder I do not have HDWall_taskbar.png nor HDWall_softkeybar.png. Which cab is suppose to install those? Any way you could provide me with the two .png files and I'll just manually set them? Oddly enough, lockscreen and startmenu look like they should (except the background is not HQ like the background in manila...not sure if that's normal).

ok i put a zip with the cab that should install the softkeybar and taskbar in the secound post.
You have to softreset after installation.
The png's are also included in the zip
