i want to use this webfeed feature to display rss news on the desktop but the problem is no adress works for me except the ones that were already installed like: WTA News, BBC News.
Am i doing something wrong?
for example i want to have the news rss from this site: www.gamestar.de,
when i copy and paste the rss adress: http://www.gamestar.de/news/rss/news.rss into the webfeeds it always says: access failed
Did you use copy and paste out of opera?
Then maybe the http://www. is missing? I had that problem until I noticed the missing http://www. ...
no I already checked that, thats not the problem...
can somebody test the rss side I postet on his xperia?
this seems strange...

There's a hack available for you in order to do that. It was made for the Exec, but it works on my Orbit, so should be ok for you. It's attached.

Sorry for the delay in posting.
If you've installed the cab file then there's no need to do anything now. You can now go to contacts and by accessing the menu on a particular contact you can see the "Save as: First Last" in the contact menu.

Thats a great hack by Grogo, this has been annoying me for a long time, what i do to get around this after adding contact on the PDA I then sync with my MS Outlook and change contact details "File As > pick option" which Grogo's hack does.

this hack wasn't made by me, so I'm not 100% sure if it'll work on a italian version of WM5.

doesnt work for me either (wm6), i see the option in the menu but it does nothing.
I used to have this on my exec and it worked fine though

cancel that, If i hold down my stylus on a contact and choose "File As:First Last" it works a treat, only trouble is I cant do it en-mass, I have to select each contact individually :/
Does M$ still support the old version of live search some of us used with WM5 .. the free standing app that has icons for "categories" "map" "directions" and "traffic" ... I installed the old cab I had lying around, and it works fine .. however when I was poking around on the web to download it again (just to see if there was a later version) I could not longer find it.... the Live Search for Moblie page now installs simply a search window into WM6 ... and I actually liked the old interface.
Yes they still support it. I'm on WM6 (XDA Live 0.10) and I get to the download page fine.

I use SBSH Calendar Touch om my HD. When I chose Calendar from PROGRAM it launces SBSH Calendar Touch, but when I click on a item on the
Touch3DFLO interface I'm redirected to the default WM calendar app ...
Suggestions how to fix this ?

I have installed the calenderrun. What would be the next step? Do I need SSMaPa? Hopefully you can explain.

Am I correct in saying this method only works for the old Manilla? I don't believe SSMaPa works with Manilla 3.

Does anyone know if there is a kind of multi-msn for WLM like on a desktop? I have a work account (saves me from walking trough the building a lot) and I private. Untill know, switching the live ID always required me to rerun the complete setup so I hardly ever changed the ID. Now my job situation has changed and it would be very convinient for me if I could switch accounts easily. Not even to be online with 2 accounts at the same time like on a desktop, but just being able to select the ID I want to use at startup would already be very nice.
Does anyone have a suggestion? I did a search, but could not find anything related.
