looking for weather tool...

I did a quick search and couldnt really find anything simple enough. I am looking for a weather program thats basicaly just weather, plain and simple. I have a WM6 T-Mobile Wing. Please help and Thank you.

There are quite a few weather apps out there for PPC. One is called Marsware Weather Panel, which is a today screen weather app and a favorite for a lot of people around here. Another one is called weather watcher which is fairly decent as far as weather programs go, but it doesn't have a today plugin and if I remember right it only updates over activesync and not through GPRS although there is a newer version out since the one I tried and maybe they've added that ability. Weather on Home Screen

Is there any way to get the 3d weather on the home screen without flashing to a completely different ROM?

Uh... From Home Screen- Menu-Home Wallpaper-Weather Wallpaper?

all the stock roms have non-sense 2.1. you need sense to have the weather clock and weather wallpaper.

Initially TP2's came stock with WM6.1
With WM6.1 it is NOT possible to have weather on the home screen.
Some carriers have released official updates to WM6.5. Check your carriers site to see if there is an update to WM6.5 available.
I am on Verizon and they have an official 6.5 update released. I believe most carriers do now (I don't think Sprint does).

I have the ATT tilt 2 so It came with WM6.5 installed. I am not sure what Sense it is currently running but is there any way to get an updated Sense?

the tilt 2 comes stock with touch flo 3d 2.1. not sense 2.1 or 2.5. youll need a new rom to get the shiney weather clock and backgrounds.

What version of Manila? If you are on TouchFLO 3D, it doesn't have it. Sense 2.5 has it, not sure about older versions of Sense.

I have the stock AT&T ROM that came with my Tilt 2. I am unsure of the Manila version and do not know how to determine the version. On my last phone (Fuze) I installed a total of three different ROMs (all TAEL ROMs), and I believe only one of them included Sense. The other two were standard versions. In all three ROMs, the World Clock screen included "My Location" , and in all three, the weather was present under the flip clock and animated on the home screen. I just assumed it was something that TAEL had added until I saw a screen shot of a Verizon phone that included it.

if you have stock at&t rom that came with your tilt 2 then you have touchflo 3d which doesn't have weather animation

[Q] Galaxy tab 3 lite weather app in tab 3

Hello!
I have a Samsung galaxy tab 3, and recently a relative got a samsung galaxy tab 3 lite. I've seen that the weather widgets differ from one another.
The lite (T110) has the widget as it appears in the samsung product page (can not post links yet), and also mine (T210) is like the one in the samsung page.
As I like more the lite one, I was wondering if there was any way to get this widget in the T210. The Weather widget version in the T210 is 140418.02, while the lite one is 140919.01. I have also a tab 2, and its weather widget looks like the lite version (even though the version number is 131202.01).
This puzzles me a bit, as my tablet was updated today to the 4.4 version of Android while the lite one has 4.2.2 (as the tab 2).
Is there any way to have the lite widget in my tab 3? (preferably without needing to root it).
