The bluetooth icon on the taskbar is part of the HTC dialer's Function...
it never came with WM. so...your best bet will be install the HTC dialer on your WM6.5 ROM

Ok, thank for your prompt reply.
Last question :
Where I can find this HTC Dialer, a specific CAB for blackstone has already done or can I use a common CAB HTC dialer ?
Sorry for my poor english!

I'm in the opposite position, rather looking to HIDE my Bluetooth icon in the taskbar (top). I have recently updated my ROM, and it seems like the BT icon always likes to tell me that it's on. It's very annoying and I'm hoping for a way to disable or hide it!
Thanks in advance all!

Oh, this worked nice on my WM 6.0 Pro.
Had to start it via the link in the auto-start folder the first time though.

thanks - i know this is old but this .cab has sorted my issue out with bluetooth icon not appearing - thanks

I use this too but i'm wondering if anyone has this in a colored version because that matches my taskbar icons

Settings change from WM5 to WM6

Hi Everyone,
I upgraded to the O2 WM6 ROM last night and theres a few things I cant do that I could on WM5 and was wondering if someone could tell me how.
1. On the desktop i cant get the two buttons at the bottom to change from Calender on the left and contacts on the right.
2. The running problems icon has gone from the start menu options and I cant find it anywhere
I know these are trivial but you know what its like when you set something up the way you want and get use to it and then its taken away.
Cheers everyone.

Hi,
1. Just copy the file into the windows folder, do a soft reset, and go to start\settings\system... you will find the solution to remap the softkeys...
View attachment SoftKeyApplet.zip
2. Install this program. It will make an icon to the top right of the today screen. By this icon you can manage your running programs.

Cheers.
Cheers zsitvayb, worked a treat.
Is there a way to remove the battery indicator from the bottom right corner of the desktop next to the comm manager. Im using batterystatus which is more accurate so i have no need for it

When you go to text messages the left soft key is delete where as in WM5 it was new. Any way to change this back to New.

OK, left side is the colored version
the pictures say more than 1000 words ;-)
if you have a nice background the black buttons are not really beautyful

cool, now where would we get a black theme to make it look just like that we see in the htc rom? also does it work with a green theme? that one looked cool too.
Is it just me or the new home plug-in can't update the weather data?
tried other cities as well, no joy.
Thanks schen..!
Great work. But still bug with Backlight button in Launcher Tab.
How can fix it Schen ??
Thanks again...!

Anyone else have issues with this release and the Kaiser 10 button Comm manager? With the original 1.5 release, when a data connection was activated, the data connection in Comm manager wouldn't show activated (greyed out). I would have to touch it to activate the data connection( even though I was already connected) and then touch it again to deactivate. After installing the v2.0.720.719 the comm manager data connection magically started working. I just installed the 2.0.814.722 from this thread and it is back to operating like the original release. Is there any way to fix this so it shows a data connection is activated in comm manager when I am connected to Edge( 3g not in my area yet) so that I can just tap it to shut down?
Thanks. I hope I was explaining it well enough.

Hide WM 6.5 Taskbar

Is there a tweak or a software to hide one or both bars (bottom & top) in winrows mobile 6.5?
The following cabs remove the topbar (operator logo) & bottom bar (TF3D tabs). It is advisable to install sdkcerts first.
EDIT
I have no cabs to remove top bar (startmenu/taskmanager) and bottom bar (soft keys)
[QUESTION] How to make taskbars transparent?
Hi,
Recently, I was wondering, how to change taskbars (upper and down windows, wich are black and Manila's tap-bar) to transparent? Right now I have my wallpaper in hi-res (480x800px), and only taskbars disturbs my HD look-and-feel
On screens:
1 and 2 visual of my HD screen.
3rd screen I've lent from MaxTTm's thread, to show wich bars am I talking here about... I mean number 5 (Manila tapbar), 10 and 11.
What I want:
5 and 10 could be 100% transparent
11 could be 65% transparrent.
Could Anybody make cab's with these settings for me? I would appraciate that.
Thanx in advance....
My screens:
I'm affraid that is not possible in WM6.1, but a feature in WM6.5.

I'm using ROM based on WM 6.5 (like in my signature, or secound screen shows that). So I think it is possible...
2nd screen shows, that top and bottom bars are a little bit transparent... I just would like them to be (top) 100% and (bottom) 65%...
THX for reply...
mmm
not possible in 6.1 ? what makes it possible in 6.5? a reg hack ? as this is only software and there is no physical change betwen .5 and .1

On my previous ROM (EnergyROM), I had MaxTTm installed and there is an option, wich allows You to change transparency of top, bottom and Manila tap-bar... Maby person, who developed MaxTTm can say something about that...
MOD EDIT
Merged these 2 threads

Question: could You please attach some screens, how does it look after cab's install?? I'm wondering, is this the thing, that I'm having on my mind...
EDIT
This doesn't solve my issue... I'm trying to make top and bottom bars transparent - I mean top bar (where icons are on it) and bottom (where we have text Phone, Contacts etc...).
Ok, I'm your first tester if you release a cab. ;-) Just let me know.

OK, so back to beginning... If someone have a clue, tip or any way of doing this (also by registry values), please let me know...
PS. I don't think, that merging my thread with this was good idea - I'm having other issue than x0a... But if forum rules are strict in this case, I can't do anything about it
for those of you interested in hiding the bottom bar:
if have started a new thread here in the development section as i found the source code of dcinobar on the author's website. maybe someone can use this and create a new program

Hide Taskbar

Hey
Just got my Blackstone and already installed a bunch of applications What annoys me, is that in certain applications (like resco photoviewer) the windows taskbar pops up on top and cuts off the top part of the program. Is there a program to hide the windows task bar on a per application basis?
Thanks

Not that I'm aware of. You can install cabs for making top & bottom bars see through, but I'm not sure how this would work with resco photoviewer. If I were you I'd find thread of resco photoviewer and ask your query within that thread. More likely to get accurate response. I would also check the wiki (SOFTWARE SECTION) to ensure that resco photoviewer is completely compatible with the HD.
Thanks for your reply, will do as you advised. What's the name of those cabs you mentioned, which make the bars transparent?
Thanks again

These don't work in all roms, so if they don't work for you, best to ask/search within your rom thread. You need to install sdkcerts first.

Change the notification application

I cannot find a way to set my application to replace the default (or HTC) notification face. The one you get when you tap the taskbar and showing your incoming SMS, missed calles, battery state. Any one has an idea on this?
In the same idea, I'd like to be able to create my own task bar. Not just changing the icons.
