Very nice looking indeed, what I did is put 100% trnasparent images in the dll and than modify the cpr like this;

thanks for the tip, this will sure speed up the process of creating a theme, messing with the .dll back and forth is a tedious process.

No problem, you can do the same with the icons in each expanded layout of the cprs. I copied the icon code and pasted it back i as a new line of each expanded layout. Give it a source and rename Icon as Iconfixed and bam, you add a custom hardcoded image to the layout. That's how I made Neo Tinaium. Than just use the left/top portions of the original icon and move it off screen. It'll load but you won't see it.

My question is not for this particular theme but I am hoping to get some direction. It is more of a coding issue.
I am wanting to replace an icon (picture) with another one and this is what I have:
I have commented this one (original which works)

And trying to get this one to work (but it does not).

which panel are you trying to make this change for? the ID "Icon" is actually hard-coded in the registry with pre-defined path, so it's overriding your "Source" attribute. That's why it's important to know which panel you're trying to change so that i can tell you exactly what needs to be changed to get this working, should be fairly easy.

I don't get what you mean by set perms to 777. Is it done through some app like hexcode or something?

tried it with remix v9.4 + xxlph kernel = no dice. still the swipe to unlock text is showing.

How do I go about changing the permissions to 777. Sorry for my noob-ness.

thats permission 777 ...
use root explorer or some explorer with root rights, then hold on yeniframework-res.apk -> permissions

As soon as i try to paste, i loose root write.
Will not let me do it??

If is another type then please add something descriptive in the title. Otherwise we are very confused .

Bugs
The calender storage, external storage keep crashing and sometimes settings also crashes...

I've found many bugs
While checking battery stats you get something weird and settings seems to crash every now and then you try to toggle Bluetooth or WiFi .I'll post the screenshots in a while . Thumbs up if it helps you

Is your build gonna be updated regularly with fixes for current & upcoming bugs?
or just a final build from you?

And the most major bug is in the dialer app . No call logs no favourite's card are being shown

Apropos: the original version also have DSB and other feature.

At the moment, this is the main problem, and yet I did not decide, the rest will be in the background.

As i say - this is only Alpha build.

This ROM is good. Thank you gold-concert. But, i can't use NFC fonction, the sim conection option with the wifi-secure and i can't move thé application on the sd card.
I know, this is an alpha version, i hope you will fix it in the next realase...or for lollipop version.

I have Mate 2Gb RAM without NFC, so i can't test NFC function. Sorry.. I'll try fix it later, but don't know how.

Saving Image/screen shots to SD Card
Launch your favorite file manager with root access rights. You can use any app you prefer which can run elevated on your device. For example, the 'Root Explorer' app or 'File Manager' from CyanogenMod will do.
Navigate to the following file:
/system/etc/permissions/platform.xml
Find android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE and android.permission.WRITE_MEDIA_STORAGE lines. These are XML sections. You need to make them look exactly like the strings below:

i try to install my phone or tablet com.tomtom.r1navapp but seems need mitsubishi electric library (because FCA R1L manufactor is Mitsubishi electric co.)
decompile files ad i get AndroidManifest.xml

Can you explain how you did it? Which car did you use?

I could probably help you, since I have navigation purchased on mine, so i could try to find it. But I was not able to bypass the android yet. I am able to get into android wifi settings and file manager to install certificate, but not into anything that I could use to install apps or root it. Is there some hidden port from where I could connect to adb? I am kinda on the deadend now. If you could help get through it I will try to extract the tomtom files.
