i don't if this was asked already but i searched and didn't see anything...does anyone have directions or something i could follow to create my own dxtop themes? i'm a beginner so i don't even know where to start so any help would be great thanks

OK , please use the search function . Hermes Wiki explains all you need w/details .
Remember to use HardSPL before you do anything .

It's the official DOPOD ROM .... not the HTC.
No bugs ????? LOL ... not possible in the ICT.

Please stop to treat people like anything/nothing. Mistakes can happen and let the administrator of the forum take decision to delete the same repeated thread. Nobody is perfect.
For the moment, it would have been better to show a newbie the related link.
The best way to learn for a newb is to read a lot, search, find and report if there is a problem !! like i do

As I said, everybody are not clever, otherwise the world would have been changed. Especially when you see that the noob can't even express properly in english, whereas it's obligatory, If everybody can learn everything by themselves!!! Mostly when you feel extremely hungry, you don't go for fishing but buy a readymade fish .Just my opinion!

Let me be clear : i didn't say i'm clever than the average user of a PPC. Just i'm a bit tired and disappointed to read on this fantastic forum so interesting some threads posting by users who didn't take time just to read the wiki or search in this forum. I think the goal of a forum is to share our ability and knowledge and not answer to question which has already an answer in the forum even if you have to find it.
P.S. : Here everyone is giving extra time for free and i hope it will not change. And as you say, if you want a ready made fish : you have to pay for it... It's not the point here.

I downloaded theme zip files for smarttoolkit. I then extracted them. What do i do from here. Please help and sorry for the stupidity. Thanks in advance.

once u have da folders containing the themes put them in program files smarttoolkit/ skins
I tried that, but when i go to set the theme in smarttoolkit, it doesnt do anything. am i doing something wrong, or have i forgotten a step?

Hey I recently decided i want to be able to contribute to XDA and android by being a dev if any of you devs can find some time can you plz provide me with a step by step or some sort of help or advice id love to be a new dev on the scene.
