very nice rom with bugs
1. it is a thai-rom not wwe, it dont know ÄÖÜ....
2. it is a very good design and is working fast.
3. bluetooth dont work fine.... xda can not recive pictures or sounds or pi from
other handys, bluetooth-explorer is working..
4. the today-screen is crashing after one...two day's, the cclock panel hanged.
using it for 2days no problems as mentioned above i have edited the rom ann made the background transperent
21928.5 is now available too, with the new tab features
would prefer to wait for LeTo08's WWE fixings first though
both the roms wont have afixed landscape mode as there is no fixed landscape cpr
Hi ashwaa,
how did you edit the rom for the transparent background?
thanks
Here you go for trensparency: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3948173&postcount=35
You can just disable titanium and instal greatbal Titanium Shadow Neo Skin.cab
It will replace the file
soft reset and enable titanium.
That work for me.
dont like this titanium theme TBH and this rom wouldnt let me choose a different one.
The beauty of titanium to me is that you can drag ANYWHERE on the screen to get to what you want, you can move the bar up/down OR you can drag the background to under the bar...plus the bars are small enough that most of the time you dont need to move it at all....most of your vital information is right there on the screen by default.
this theme doesnt work like that so for me is a step backwards. The bars are too big and show a surprising lack of useful information considering they are almost fullscreen, and dragging anywhere has the same effect (either drags the mimi thumbnail or it accidentaly launches the associated app)
Tried changing the theme to the default blue and all it did was replace the top and bottom bars, left everything else the same....so no good
Normally i wouldnt comment on a rom based on the theme, but in this case it ruins the whole rom for me.
I was willing to let it go with the thai laguage etc until a WWE version came out but i couldnt last with that homescreen for more than a couple of hours so i reverted back to the last LeTo08 build in the other thread.
i used hypercore kitchen to make it transperent and as u see the taskbar has also been changed uing my own made as well as the backround the landsape mode still requires to be fixed as there is no fixed cpr by the author of this theme the battery drainage is very minimal and the rom is quiet fast the fastest of the lot i like this theme cause i can see all details properly and the rom dosent make the phone freeze
Where can i download this rom

Another build by me, this time is based on JPX Froyo 2.2.1 build.
- Deodex and optimized
- Themed with Gingerbread theme by vukandric and modified by me.
- Modaco Gingerbread Launcher (only 10MB in memory)
- Gingerbread keyboard
- Spare Parts (no ads)
- Nexus S Wallpapers (also Live Wallpapers)
- Stock AOSP Froyo/Gingerbread applications
- Stock AOSP Lockscreen
- Nexus S Boot Animation
- Lastest nice hardcore kernel
- No LagFix (If you want use option in CWM Recovery)
- Pre-Rooted and Busybox installed
- Very fast ROM.
For install this ROM you need to disabled any lagfix, flash original JPX ROM with ODIN, flash any custom kernel with CWM Recovery, boot into CMW and choose my zip package to install.

PLEASE mention that THIS is A ROM on the Title, & tell everyone I asked you to do so.
I'll give this a try if it is as close to AOSP as possible
Looks great!
Could you please tell me where I can find "Modaco Gingerbread Launcher (only 10MB in memory)"? Thanks.
In the market? ;D

I haven't looked through the files yet, but why do you have to flash original through odin first?
And what custom kernel?

You need CWM Recovery active, try hardcore kernel or another with a custom recovery built in
Can you give me files: framework-res.apk and twframework-res.apk ?
location: /system/framework/
thx.

I see. Thanks for your reply and the "?!?!!??"'s
I would have assumed a clean install could be accomplished by wiping data, cache partition.
i think i knew the answer.. but still couldnt help asking:any possible to have installed Chines language?
So this is not full rom since you need a base rom for install?
About livewallpapers:
Microbes works pretty nice, but connection gingerbread livewallpaper looks different than the original one and I like a lot the original one. Where can I find it
This rom is awesome, but i have some glitches in the calendar app, one grey image is showing over the first week on the month view and other screens.
Nice rom, but I have some questions: If I'm not wrong calculator, calendar, messages app, camera app, music player, video player, browser app (and maybe some more) are AOSP stock apps. But which ones are from froyo and which ones are from Gingerbread?

I work on stock Samsung Calendar becouse is very nice applications instead AOSP Calendar, please be patient for a update zip package
Hello,
Firstly, I am new to this forum. I watched the "noob video" and try to follow the guidelines.
I own a Samsung Galaxy Y(oung) GT-S5363. The baseband version is S5363XXKK3.
My Carrier is O2 Germany.
Now I found that the original firmware's options are kinda limited. For instance it doesn't have different profiles and there is no setting for vibration feedback while typing.
Now I want to flash my phone with a custom ROM. The ROMs I found are for the GT-S5360, but after a short forum search I discovered that I can use 5360 ROMs.
However, the custom ROMs I found are a little bloated. I don't want the ROM to have as many functions as you can pack into it and change the whole look & feel of the phone.
I want the ROM to use as little RAM and CPU as possible. It is not important to have German as UI language setting, but the Swype keyboard should know German.
Now which ROMs could you recommend to me? If there is no ROM out there which meets my requirements, would you recommend me building my own one?
Thanks in advance,
Luca
check out the multilanguage roms in android dev. section.. u can find the rom u like over there
Cranium is very minimalistic. So I guess Cranium is the one you are looking for. Theres only a handful of Roms available though.
No custom rom atm has Swype as keyboard. Just download Swype beta, it has German language support.
Sent from my GT-S5360 using xda premium
hybrid is also known as a light one. if you want the swype. copy swype.apk in your current rom (in /system/app) to your sd card then copy it to /system/app folder in custom rom's zip folder.
btw, you can remove any bloatware from your rom manually by deleting the apk's via root explorer or any file explorer which could acces system's folder.
Is this possible with Linux as Desktop OS? I use Xubuntu and don't want to install Windows just for messing around with my smartphone^^
to modify the rom's *zip file you can do it in linux or whatever OS as long as you can open the zip file. to manually remove the bloatware from your current stock rom you should root your device and install root explorer.
So, I clicked through a few threads with the alternative firmwares. As far as I got it, both the Cranium and the Hybrid mod change the look & feel drastically. Is there a way to have more settings with the Samsung TouchWiz UI?
you may use another launcher...

More settings? Try Creed's. It has Auto Brightness, Xloud, Swipe to remove notifications in the newest version and what not. Im running on v2.0 though.

Hi, I recommend EmeralD ROM
It contains German Swype, and just some minimal modifications on the stock ROM.
There's all the stock apps in, but you can remove the unneeded apps from the zip (system/app folder) before applying.
This is related to ROM development.
I have cook my own personal ROM using android kitchen and come to this question which I googled but did not get straight answer.
I like my font size default to small, so how to set this to default when building ROM?
Because if you wipe data or do a clean install on the ROM it will always return to Normal size.
So is there something in /data folder which if I can script during install?
Btw I am using CM9 RC4 as base of my ROM.
Thanks for any feedback.
Hi everyone,
I think, many people use custom roms that changes your boot animation. I'm currently using Carbon rom and I hate its boot animation. However the stock rom's boot animation is very cool.
Can someone make a boot animation from stock rom which can be flashed through recovery?

These are created from the original mp4 videos with ffmpeg and compatible with CM and AOSP roms.
If you use the new CM theme engine, you must set the default (holo) bootanimation in it.

Thanks for these links. I was looking for the stock motorola boot animations, but this is the best collection of them. Do you know a place where I can download all previous, current (the new world cup) bootanims, and the future bootanims will be uploaded there?
Since I have a Motorola, I feel I need these.
Edit: the original mp4 files are the better than these, but standard image sequence is also ok.

Here is the stock boot animation (mp4) and stock boot logo. Flash boot logo via recovery. Replace bootanimation with the one in /system/media and set permissions to -rw-r---r--. Keep in mind that in order to use mp4 boot animations you need to do this first: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/themes-apps/share-mp4-bootanimation-stock-rom-t2806592
Happy flashing.

Cannot able to download
Old (JPEG) version of Winter Animation
As I looked for it myself, and can't find, so I made it. It is animation for old devices like my Moto Droid Maxx (xt910), which can accept only JPEG, not video.
Sorry for no links, but I'm new user and not allowed to. Just copy and paste them to address string.
Here is white (default version):
yadi.sk/d/HUJFpeRe396Xrm
And since white background is no good for OLED displays, I made black one as well:
yadi.sk/d/EwSHKEXo396YKK
In case you're wandering how it looks:
youtu.be/dSoUg_3tvZk
Quite a size (25MB) and I guess that was one of the reasons to switch to video.
UPD Well, I guess it's wrong thread for it, but IDK how to delete it.

I created these a while back and neglected to post here. They're all the official boot animations for Moto G (2013 through 2015 models):
