What's the most popular ROM for Diamond?
I am about to flash my brothers Diamond for him.
(Personally, I have a HD and use Dutty's ROMS).
PS: Calm down chaps, I wasn't asking which ROM is BEST rather "Most Popular".
On the HD ROM Dev section there is a thread that has results from a survey that was conducted (Dutty scored well).
I've tried em all on my HD but don't have time to do that with the Diamond.

opps questions like this will get you in trouble
flash away and find out for yourself thats what i did without being told to. i already know post's like this start flame wars and no one needs to were all trying to reach the same goal the best for our device.

Hello everyone.
I'm new to this and been reading around, playing with different stuff.
Just finish unlocking my Vogue and now looking for 2 or 3 roms to try.
1. Latest Stable Custom ROM (WM 6.1)
2. Latest Stable OEM Rom (for emergency)
I don't know whats the difference really, but I think I want to try the WM 6.1 Roms, but I been noticing there are so many of them in different forums. I don't know what to do, and it seems most of them are experimental and stuff.
I notice, doing all this process will cause people to go all over everything they done to their phone before (Tweaks im talking about)

hallo there,
im new here, and i just bought a new Diamond with original rom from date may 2008.
TOughFLO3D runs really slow on it, so a friend of mine said u can upgrade ur rom. After googling, i landed on this website with a lot of roms, so which one do i have to pick up. And what do i have to do before i upgrade.

HardSLP: In ever ROM Announcment the cooker also mentions a few words about the HardSLP.
What does a rom do?
You can compare it with a complete new-installation an a pc.
Will this and that be removed?
For Sure, everything which is not on the internal storage will be erased!

I recently bought a US3G DIAM110 and would like to flash a new rom to it as it seem a bit unstable currently. I have been reading the forums for hours and have the basic jist of how to do that, however what I cannot find is what would be the best rom for my device. The forum search isn't too much help either. Can some one point me in the right direction of a good rom (and/or radio) for me to put on my device?

Although Skaks Rom is great....threads discussing which is the best ROM is not permitted on this forum. Please try the newest Roms yourself and judge them according to your standards.

this is correct......the thread will now be closed......
please note most roms here are for gsm phones.....and won't work on a us diamond.....if you flash the wrong one you can brick your phone.
Just for clarity, the OP has a US 3G [GSM] Diamond, so he can use the ROMs found here. Just be sure to not flash anything labeled CDMA... it will not end well.
I got a brand new at&t tilt 2 , it is very slow , what rom u recommend me to make it faster , all the browsers like opera , google etc are really slow.

Energy Rom is what I use. Fast, nice looking, highly customizable. Skyfire works better for me than IE or Opera.

Which ROM to use is a matter of personal preference. I like the one in my sig but then that's just for now.

make sure you have hardspl'ed your phone first before you go flashing it

hardspl is needed in order to flash custom roms all the info you need is in the the link i posted in my 1st post go ahead & read through it to learn about hardspl

OP flash ROMs just like everyone else and find the best ROM as it's personal preference.

Please use search. Read the ROM threads, see what they offer and ask questions in the ROM thread if they're not answered in the first post. Questions like this will get you flamed and Rule 1 of this forum is to search
i have searched the roms checked them both out confused which one to stick with
Then try them! Some Roms are with Sense some without. Some are with Apps2Sd some not. Nobody will give you a full overview. As far as it is about ROMs everybody needs to find out on his own. And as eddy said: every "good" developer has an overview of what his ROM offers...
