[Theme] Deep Black by kron2 for aHOME(Post 2)/rc33/adp 1.1h

new update on my theme2/16/09.square dialer theme will work with out rc33 light and moving sounds to sd card.round dialer theme you will still need to install jdwme light jfrc33 it is the same update jf made just has some ringtones and notification sounds removed to make system have more space available. to use the images in my theme feel free. just post where you got the images from.the icons are based on the blackberry bold icons. NEW adp 1.1h (I HAVE NOT TRIED IT) don't have adp 1.1h but i think it will work

(instructions)
1.first you need root and jf rc33 (1.42)
2. if installing the round dialer you will need to install jdwme light jfrc33 posted
3.just change the name to update.zip and add it to your phones sd card
4.shut the phone off and boot your phone in to recovery mode by holding the home+(red)power button until you get to a android system recovery screen
5.then press ALT+S .. and there your done now do the same to install the theme

to use you need aHome light from the market change the zip. extension to apk add the apk to your sd card use linda file manager to install also in the market.after install go to menu/preference/theme/deep black

Kind of reminds me of the new blackberry icons... I mean that in the best way possible.

it is good it reminds you of the blackberry icons .I started with the blackberry bold icons and started to make some. I think three are still the same but brighter and added a drop shadow.I like the design of the blackberry icons

I like the floating tree wallpaper best.

ended up taking a risk, and did it......IT DOES WORK FOR JFv3.1 ADP1!!!!

very nice theme, and it just became my default one. PLEASE make updates that go more indepth, like the selection color and the music player. this is sexy.

this can be install on ADP1 Rom ?

elite fusion tried it on adp1 and it worked for him and 313 I had a different clock but it was lost win I lost power I will post the clock I had for it after I make it one more time and you all can pick the one you like. like I said the theme is far from complete

Well I like how this is going so far. I can only imagine how it looks once u touch the rest of the system.

possibly even a new font. This is a sleek sexy theme. thank you

I can dig it.. Great job thus far tho.. actually had me looking for matching blackberry wallpapers earlier this morning lol

here are two wallpapers i think might look nice with this theme
i haven't installed this one yet to see how they look but it is merely a guess that they will flow well together =]

here is the clock I had in the theme first before I lost it the numbers have a blue glow to them but hard to see with the background which one do you like.and I am working on the dialer the number keys look real good but don't like the shaded part I made I am going to work on it some more after work

I like your original Design but I think it needs to not be so transparent. But if it goes good with some of your other icons I think this would be the best theme yet!

I copied over the pngs from a RC-30 build theme that i never released.
when i did that i noticed that the menu icons got smaller so my pngs overlap with the text a bit... so far no issues other than that but i havent really dove into it full force yet... i am planning on sleeping soon and diving into it tomorrow.

Just some files Manup. Take the same approach you did with ADP1.1.
I have a template in the original theme section.

I think i have it but did you notice if you have ADP1 installed then install RC30 if you install a ADP1 theme on top of that it will bring you back to ADP1?

Looks nice, however, I think the text on the notification bar should be white. The black is too hard to read on the dark blue.

Actually, now that I mentioned that, is it even possible to change the text color on the notification bar? Should be in an XML file, yeah? Any ideas?

um i believe Stericson posted a thread on this in DREAM>DREAM THEMES...
called XML i believe... he changed the text color to red and made the status bar transparent.... some other changes as well, but i believe thats what you are looking for

was looking for a rc33 template to start porting my themes over to form rc30, and make new ones... is there a process that i can create my own..?
everything is the same for rc33 like it was for rc30, wrt themes? just edit, sign, update

its not exactly the same, i tried to get FadetoBlue on RC33 but i get stuck at the first boot screen. I am debating on rebuilding my theme from scratch... But we will have to see.

I just updated the clock dial images and I'm about to test it. I'll post a beta copy up in a few minutes, itll be missing individual app icons however it will have the folder shortcut icon.

hey teknotiq, liking the theme, i touched it up a lil... made the colors a lil more closer & brighter....changed the clock color and made the notches clear/see-through (have different possibilities for the clock... 12,3,6,9 not clear, all clear, or grey back with colored notches)... also tried something different and added "open n close" to the menu tab...and changed the delete tab to match the menu tab..
all props to you... just tweaked it a lil bit ( ** i have other square and circle clocks** )

G1 stuck in a loop
I see G1, then the Android Logo comes up and keeps flashing, going off, then coming back on. What do I need to do if I installed R29?

First of all great theme one of my favorites. I had the original on my phone for a while.
As for your problem grandamxlr8 this theme is for RC33. First of all do you have root if not you need to get it. I would start all over and get root and flash JF RC33 update. I know theme says JF 1.41 but i used the 1.42 and it worked for me. After you get RC33 then you can flash this theme and enjoy. Good Luck.

Hey guys here it is again. I have switched to JF build. For my own purpose why not port the theme, so I am sharing. Had some extra time and ported the Aero theme as well. They are non wipe builds. On the Aero I could not find the Superuser icon. If anyone has it I will update.
UPDATE: Thanks to Stericson for the white clock, and daveid for providing with the theme template no more 40MB themes.

Dude. You're my personal f***in' hero. This was my only delta when switchin' from Haykuro's to JF's.
Ps. Not looking a gift horse in the mouth, but out of sheer curiosity; why do we need the whole firmware modified with the theme? Couldn't we just update the theme files?

Tried resigning it and it's still failing for me. Any ideas?

I had install haykuro's ADP1.hr3.....with Aero theme.....after that i did the app2sd, and it was successfully installed(not with data).....then finally i pushed JF ADP firmware on top of it(without wipe)....everything working fine.....JF version has improved the speed love it.....plus the spareparts's animations run flawlessly and fast ........love this stuff..

Yes I too would love to know how to just edit the theme files rather than updating the whole firmware.

theres a batch file in the update that needs to be taken out before it will work on the glosssuite sign.bat other that that works great thanx

guys its not really that hard. download the SDK and do some digging. it comes with a signing tool, and doing it yourself is the best way to learn. plus you can start to do things on your own, hence make your own customized stuff, and maybe even contribute back. maybe. lol =]
