Tytn UPGGRADE From English to Italian

Hi guys,
i'm a newbie,and i would like to know if you can help me.
i bought a tytn on ebay, but when i received i discovered it is in english and not in italian (my language) so i started searching for a solution. when i found this forum, i was confused. but now i think i can get it.
i downloaded from the ftp Vodafone_PDA1605_1.23.165.2_ITA_Dumped_ROM.rar,
but it is not listed how to upgrade the rom, cause all the threads refer to self extracting rom packages.

Il problema è che ho il tytn acquistato su ebay in inglese.
iol tytn è marchiato vodafone, sulla scatola c'è scritto VODAFONE 1605 VPA COMPACT III -
ma non ne esco fuori, ho trovato il firmware in tutte le lingue tranne che in italiano, finchè non mi sono imbattuto nella dumped rom che sta sull'ftp xda, ma non so come caricarla visto che è in una forma diversa da quelle altre che ho trovato.. :mad

Richiesta di un guida definitiva x agg da WM5 a WM6 ITA

Scusate se scrivo solo in italiano ma vorrei chiedervi una guida definitiva e chiara per sapere come aggiornare il mio Trinity da WM5 a WM6, siccome non ho chiara ancora la procedura, anke xké non vorrei trovarmi poi ad avere un PDA inservibile se magari ho eseguito la procedura sbagliata per via dei CID, SUPERCID E cose varie!
P.S tecnico: ho montata l'ultima versione ufficiale di WM5 scaricata dal sito di HTC.

at this moment ,there is a cab for italian setting,but we would wont have a complet italian rom

May Hard-Spl upgrade on any type of Htc bootloader?.

è facile:
1)flash dell' hard spl
2)flash del modulo radio 1.41
3)Flash della ROM
io ho seguito questa procedura ed è andato bene.
poi aggiungete i vari .cab per sistemare qualche problemino (es. videochiamata)

se scarichi la ROM di mUn o LVSW non devi fare altro che eseguire ROMUpdateUtility.exe
ovviamente prima devi avere il P3600 collegato con l'usb al pc e sincronizzato con activesync e almeno il 50% di batteria.

sono sempre aggiornatissime e in pochi giorni ci prendi la mano!
non ci sono problemi legati alla lingua!

Lo so che le rom in eng sono aggiornatissime, ma aspetto il tytnII che lunedì porterò in riparazione, visto che non ci sono riuscito da solo.
English roms are better because more updated, but i will sell my hermes when my kaiser is returned back to the assistance. (link with the issue included into italian translation)

ragazzi conoscete un modo per far andare la tastiera dal tytn con i caratteri italiani sulle rom inglesi tipo shap's?
Tanti tasti di punteggiatura sono diversi dai disegnini e quindi per trovare il simbolo ci si mette una vita.

Where can I find a stock WM 6.5 ROM ?? (either ITA or WWE)

Premetto che ho cercato nel forum senza successo.
Sto cercando una rom senza software aggiuntivi oltre al sistema operativo e drivers di windows mobile 6.5 in italiano o anche inglese.
Tutte le rom che trovo hanno un sacco di software che non mi servono e dovrei rimuovere, mentre io ho solo bisogno di 5/6 programmi dei quali ho già i cab.

I am looking for a windows mobile 6.5 rom file (in italian or english) with only the operating system and the drivers.
The roms i found are always full of software that for me is useless.
I'd like to have a clean/fast/light OS and install my own cabs.

no problem, i know that i can't (and i don't want to) pretend anything.
i would compile it by myself but i'm too scared to brick the device because i have no experience in cooking roms.
it's not much important for me to try wm6.5, it was only for curiosity, so do not worry.
if you want to do this take your time, otherwise don't mind.

sorry on an uber late response. if you haven't yet figured out ookba's 3volution rom has italian keymapping and you can install an italian xt9 for it. so i believe you can make it very italiano

Ciao...ti consiglio di non fare quello che vuoi fare...istallati direttamente la 3volution che è 6.5 è in inglese ma decisamente su un'altro pianeta (anche io ero scettico per via dell'inglese,ma si capisce tutto e poi ti ci abitui con qualche ora d'uso) nonchè velocissimo e reattivo con una marea di programmi aggiuntivi..mappatura italiana( QWERTY), solo l'unico difetto a mio modo di vedere e che non ha un t9 italiano..però lo puoi fare tu salvando le parole..^^ istallati poi la patch per il wifi e per il t9 che sono allegati..se hai qualche dubbio in merito all'istallazione ti posso aiutare,perchè l'ho già fatto..
