Awesome, just installed it. Just want to point out some of the icons looks too light/bright almost cant really define what it is, also the pink on the status bar its too light almost blend in with the status bar, hurts my eyes a bit. Other than that its an amazing theme! Please fix this so i can have a new theme!

The icon packs are SUPPOSED to be light/bright and undefined I believe..check the Gaia2008 page on customize. Everything is made to be like that so I tried to match the status bar icons as well, its minimalistic. I like it I donno..and its blue and orange..no pink :]
And wow, I just put it up today and it's already on Market as a Skin, that didn't take long at all, nice going Open Home dev team, I see you :]

The wallpapers are in the "Gaia-Wallpapers" folder inside the extra's zip (or they should be.. along with the "Gaia - Icons" folder)
If you want to save your picture gallery from loading all the icon images you can now also download the icon pack from the market and use it with BetterCut (much easier option In my opinion)

Yea actually the icons have grown on me... But i still have an issue (if u wanna call it that) with the status bar, if the icons at the status bar were a bit darker would b easier to see.. And im sorry about the pink comment, im color blind haha BTW it rocks, this is the second theme i can personally say its a keeper aside from BUUF.

As far as the other comments about the lightness of the top icons, I think I'll keep it as is.
Look at it from my point of view. Now when you look down at your phone you'll see the Time right away without anything else getting in your way at any screen on you're on. I like seeing the simpleness of it all.

[Theme] JetBlack - Cyanogen 3.6.8.1 & 3.9.2(Updated 07/29)

This theme has all of Cyanogens mods working and intact I have no problem porting for other builds if there is a call for it.Thanks to ohmarni for letting me use pieces of Android Plus and Ohsaka for colorChanger.jar so white notifications are able to be done on any build.
New Version 1.5.1 fixed all of the remaining 9.png's though there could be a few stragglers,and still have all the needed files to support the HtcMusic.apk I would suggest getting one you like from here Thanks to Beags for the sweet designs.I also added my statusbar icons and new to 1.5.1a app icons there will be a version 1.5.2 with alternate 3g/edge/gprs icons if you aren't digging these.

Hmm, like the idea, but too black for me. Needs some kind of outlining, for example, the border around the launcher. The pull out tab, I'd prefer it to be bigger, kinda like Kspec...now that would be sweet :]

Only suggestion I have is making the launcher 5x4 for some reason 4 across just bugs the hell out of me.....can't explain it, just does. haha

I will look into that but last I tried it breaks cyanogens mods using a launcher thats not from his build...

thanks! ohmarni has it working on the android plus theme using the launcher and xml's from sir*mez i believe. Hope that points you in the right direction

Looks like Cyanogen 3.6.6 has the 5x4 6x3 layout I will have that version up soon.

take a loot at some of your .9.png files, the one for the search bar is off a little and causing it to look funny, should be your text field one

Yeah I have recompiled some of these .9 pngs over and over will keep at it till I get them as clean as possible.
New version 1.2 with 5x4/6x3 launcher drawer posted.

first off love the theme , the only thing i have noticed is that when i go to use the phone it seems a bit sluggish.

I havent noticed anything like that,I am still on 3.6.5 though let me upgrade to 3.6.6 and see if I have the same problem then I will see if I can fix it.Glad you like the theme though...

great theme, plain and simple, but check the search bar is.. off, looks really odd, the voice search button is hanging off the frame if you know what i mean... looks nice tho, clock is definately a keeper, and chance you could make it hero size?
-=edit=- never mind about the clock, i already had clock widget active when i applied the theme, removed and replaced widget and it's nice and big and awesomely cool thanks, just the search to sort, but you may want to wait till cyan updates again, i recon there is 3.7 in the works some time soon

I like it except for the 3g icon, would still rock the theme with or without the icon though. love how this theme looks. Especially love the keyboard

I like the 3g icon but would like to see a different battery icon, like the ophone or the pre battery icons. Lovin 1.5 though. Sharp looking.

I am gonna try to make my own battery icons and see how they look I will be customizing all the notification icons and will also make app icons for this theme eventually but I want the notifications finished before I release 1.5.Now I am gonna make two versions also with different 3g,edge,gprs Icons.Thanks for your input guys its greatly appreciated.

This was just made for fun mostly, something different than the usual when I saw that there was a group/community effort to make a Zelda theme on XDA. Even if they don't use this particular clock, I thought I'd make it available as a stand-alone flashable update for anyone that wants it.​

Alien Aqua
This was going to be the clock featured in an upcoming theme called "AquaAlien", for whatever reasons, I didn't really get to finish it as fast as I'd like. I just noticed an 'ahome' theme by the same name in the market so I'll possibly end up abandoning this project and just work on other things for now (its a personal thing, I don't really like taking someone else's thunder I guess since I wouldn't want it happening to me). But the clock is mostly personally made not using any of the Aqua Alien icons so I figured I'd offer the clock as a seperate update.zip file for those that want to use a new non-hero based clocks.​

SystemForce (Based on upcoming 3.0 version)
I'm porting SystemForce over to the newer rom's so I completely redid the clock now that I am able to create a bigger sized version of it. It still matches the theme in every way but also looks good stand alone, so I figured I'd put it up for individual download for those that like to mix and match theme elements.​

NOTE: These are mostly 4x3 clocks (big size) so if you have problems flashing, remove any old clocks from home screen, flash, then add clock widget again. Be sure to leave enough room on your home screen for it to fit.

To explain my theme process..I find icon sets that I think look really cool, then I find matching wallpapers that would go good with that icon set, then I build my themes around that. As you can see in the screenshots I got as far as customizing the top bar (only right hand side) the clock and the status bar. The icons were put by bettercut but I'd have made them system icons as well. The last time I worked on that theme we were on Cyanogen 3.2 so as you can see its been a while since its been touched.
Now I dont use ahome so I don't know what the "AlienAqua" ahome theme in the market place looks like but since I build my themes based on the icons, its the heart of my project. I may continue with it since I'm getting positive responses here but I remember being stuck on what to do with the pull up tray images.
The best thing I loved about that theme was the boot screen..I had an animated spaceship scene which is hard to describe but looked really ****ing awesome. Too bad
If you look at my other themes, I tend to go all out and customize everything possible so it may take a while before you see any of my ideas posted. This was why alien aqua was not finished..
If theres enough demand I can zip up the wallpapers and icon sets for people to use. Not sure about the notification icons beause I can make use of them in other themes..Those that remember SystemForce version 2 may recognize some of the top bar icons from there. So i recycle..is a lot of work

that theme would look hot on a white G1 thats nice keep up the great work

edit: Well thank goodness for redundant backups of backups..was able to find the old avatar after all..back to normal now.

i plan to make more changes to the app drawer, haven't decided if i want to change app icons yet. i'll post a poll and if people want app icons, i'll give em.

I love the look just for some reason not to much the launcher. I'm not hating because i love the green/black feel as some of those who went on my forum when it first started but great job!!!

Personally, i do not prefer app icons because third party apps mess up the look of it. The easiest thing to do to please but people that want them and people than don't, would be to make a seperate update.zip that just contained the apps with the changed icons. Stericson has a blank update.zip you can grab from somewhere (sorry can't remember link) that you can grab and just drop the modified .apk's into.

i feel the same way about icons. looks like people are wanting app icons, so thanks for that advice. i'll find that link.

please make in 4.1.1 this theme is so badass!

Custom Icons...
Although they look pretty sweet...unless all you have on your phone is stock apps, it doesn't look so good having custom icons mixed with non-custom. To top it off, having half your icons neon green, and half not, it would take away from the over-all essence of the theme. Just my opinion.

This is mainly to get it noticed, instead of it not getting noticed.
Apart from that, the thread is not very lively anymore...
I would like to thank my brother for letting me look at the activities which I didn't have anymore...
One last thing: I will be doing requested themes (I don't have PhotoShop skills, so it's better if you provide the icons ), and if someone can post the MotoBlur icons, I will make a theme out of those too.

This is on CM7, but ofcourse it looks the same as on a Samsung rom, because the icons are the same. Only the package names differ, that's why Bassie made a different CM7 zip.

I don't have all the apps on my device, so I will list them in the OP. With that, a picture.
As you can see, they are a bit foggy in the drawer, but not too much.
Also, Samsung Apps doesn't seem to have changed. It should have a blue background, can anyone verify?
Little question: Who would like to see a LauncherPro theme of this?
Then as the last thing: I'm also thinking about doing something else theme-related, but more rigourous.

Sorry to say but PNG are upscaled, they look little blurry. Try to capture big size PNG icons for apps

That's not possible, these are simply icons for the TouchWiz 4.5 launcher.

I know, they are upscaled. That was the only way to get them big enough in the app drawer, it automatically makes them look small in the drawer.
Therefore, I am asking for a fix. How do I get bigger icons that look right? Maybe take a pic of a theme on here?
The icons in the dock don't get made smaller, so they are fine in the dock...

I've asked for a Fix in fr4gg0r's thread... I experienced the same thing.. But you worked hard for this. It's not easy to extract icon of every single application and rename it

It's not, indeed... A very long job.
Especially because I did it wrong two times before getting it right
Still, I like to see the result of my work, and therefore I want to do more

BUG: I wasnt able to solve it in my SGII theme. Drag a shortcut of the icon from app drawer to home screen like email. New email icon shows
Restart the launcher or phone. Old icon shows. Fix for this

It must be a bug in the launcher... Thanks for reminding me.

My Phone has the icon of contacts, hmmm what can i do?

Maddoggin, if you mean the widgets (is there a full app called feeds), those should work, since it is a Samsung launcher. If you mean the icons: I have only themed Samsung apps, I didn't find more of Samsung than I said in the first post.
