WM 6.5 ROM for hTC P3300-P3350_Artemis&Love

2nd version of wm6.5 rom cooked with m2d

I've tested the first version (Dhee_WM6.5_b1_21139), after i instalind m2d update 19, my artemis run slowly with omap configured to 240 mhz.

This one hasnt been posted yet. I'm amazed by the amount of "crap" the cookers from pdamobiz manage to put in. Why not make a vanilla/lite rom, this is just silly

and i totally agree with you dutchcow, but i'm impressed that they manage to also keep it running quick and with so much free memory

I've tried extracting these roms and they dont extract properly, must be "protected". I cant wait for a Yue's extra lite 6.5 rom or something similar.

Hi guys, I tried this last night, yea its quick but as soon as i changed that iphone theme with something more like able, the Playboy Playmate Review by Phonatic and a few other Apps, it slowed down also it contains that activesync bug too. Gotta remember its Beta and hope some of our experienced cookers can rape and mark it with there own stamp !!

I had this rom for 3 days and it is really slow. I did not like the way it works and everything when a new message is received, I try to use the manilla it would hang. Hence I used the other 6.5 Rom from PDAviet. It is stable and also consume less battery than PDAMobiz rom.

I would love to have ExtraClean YuE 6.5.

I think its ever best window for artemis.
I am testing it to detect if any bug.

Hello, i'm Thai and very impressive with this rom after using 2 days.
I think he made this rom by using Extra Tools (Full SYS and Full XIP ported)
This rom use Camera software Ver 6.13 so you can fix focus quickly and include with Panorama Mode.
But the important is This rom is a beta Version.

Too bad the hardware does not support any kind of focus. It is impossible to get auto focus of any kind to work because the camera/lens simply cant support it. 6.13 is also included in Gullums rom and some other roms, unfortunately it wont allow you to focus on anything.

I have a small question. So far I have focused in the ROM and WM 6.1 Pro, but now I switched to ROM WM 6.5 Pro and I am very satisfied so far, but I need to verify if I can install applications for WM 6.1 Pro? Before I install anything, just checking.

Yes you can, I tried many 6.1 ver. softwares on my 6.5 wmobile.So go without fear....

Asus A696 Upgrade to 6.1 or 6.5

Hey,
I tried to upgrade my Asus A696 to a new version but no luck (i'm not that good at this kind of stuff), so my question is if there's a way to upgrade it at least to WM 6.1, or 6.5 using a different ROM version or something like that.
I would appreciate if the following answers would be from people who tried this before.
PS: If there are links (here) where i can find steps to upgrade, i would be grateful if you point them out.

It's not a mistake. For example WM6.5 on HP iPAQ hx2000 series runs much faster then WM6.1
I would suggest You to go for WM6.5

that's my opinion, I don't like chome, honeycomb, new big menus, manila and other kind of sh%t.
But if you like it, you can use it. I don't prohibit it

any news about it? I would like to install 6.1 or 6.5 also on my a696

Was amazed to find a ASUS P527 6.5 upgrade on here the other day, being able to upgrade the A696 would be awesome as well .

Thanks for your reply, I downloaded and took a look - but I've never done anything like this before, I don't know where to begin. The fact that anything I make with this would be Polish (?) - I'm out of my league. Maybe I'll see if I can figure out the P527 where they do have a World Wide English version already and see what can be done with that.
The P527 has a bunch of ways to upgrade through USB and microSD even if the main process fails - I have no idea if there is such a method for the A696 though. If a flash fails, that could be it... and that's a little bit daunting for a first timer...

you can make image backup first.
pdocread –v 0x0 0x3600000 nk.nb0
upgrade is simply, by usbloader.
1. Disable usb connections in async
2. plug usb cable to pda
3. reset pda with center dpad button pressed.
4. USB Download mode screen will appear
5. Click "Upload ROM!" in kitchen.

can anybody please create and upload the wwe version? It's just that I don't understand Polish so the PLK is completely useless to me (and I guess others)

I too would like a WWE version of a 6.1 or 6.5 ROM for the Asus 6x6 series devices... I would be willing to do some testing as well. I would also be willing to make a donation to whomever gets a 6.5 ROM working.

That would be something. I have a i617 and it's using a cooked 6.5 ROM, but its clock doesn't auto update and its task manager sucks. So I am going to flash it back to 6.1

Why not just go to the roms sub forum for the TP2 and use the search feature to look for it yourself instead of waiting for someone to post it for you? You'll likely find it MUCH quicker and not get flamed for asking someone to do the work for you.

I use from Animelover the Clean Black ROM 4.1 (WM 6.5.X) and it works fine.
My only problem is that the bluetooth no more working with my Carradio, that works under T-Mobile and WM 6.1 fine.
