Ive installed "SpbKeyboard_v4.1.1_K_ed" on my HD a three times now, and ive drawn the conclusion that it has to be that program that causes the problem. It makes the phone unable to start up after a soft reboot. The text "smart mobility" comes up and the three lines of red text in the bottom right corner but then it freezes. And i cant do anything with it. Now i have reset it to the factory settings and it works fine and im not installing SBP Keyboard again. But it is a brilliant keyboard! Has anyone else had these problems?? And can anyone recomend akeyboard that fills the screen in landscape mode?

Since last night my t-mo TP2 has been really slowing loading up (this is AFTER "windows 6.1" green screen and "loading TF3D"....even if i touch the screen nothing moves. touch flow works fine after 5 min but Opera Mobile and other programs open very slow. screen rotation doesn't react and also parts of the screen image from previous pg remain when i go to a new program. By "quick menu", i mean the top right corner where u can get to the task manager (i do have this turned ON in my settings).
Can someone pls help me??
i really don't wanna do a hard reset so do i have any other options? THX.
okay, quick menu finally shows up after 15 min or so? it seems like everything is running smooth.
i hope this isn't normal cuz it happens to me every time i power off and turn it back on.
Eeep, I'll be watching this, I love QuickMenu! If ATT ever releases the TP2, that is..
damn no replies. i'm having the same problem with my sprint touch pro 2. loading where i can actually use and that will respond fairly quickly takes a good 5 min. fortunately, after everything seems to work fine but there are times i soft reset to clear everything and slow load, EVERYTIME.
can someone help? I have S2U2 and have tried EVERY combination of options, don't think it can be any of the other utilities I installed
QuickMenu works just exactly the way it's always worked for me on the Tilt.. I haven't ever seen it run slowly. I ran the older version at first, then installed the new version so I could increase the spacing to make it easier for finger poking, both worked just fine.
Not sure however if I used it with TF3D, I nuked that after a day. I suppose it's easy enough to switch, so I did, and still no trouble. I have it assigned to my Win key, if I want to launch the "honeycomb" I tap the Start Menu text. I use a bit of a combo of both. I don't really use any special settings, about all I set is to auto start, register win key, right arrow to close program, x button long press to close, don't mess with anything else.
So here is my problem, woke up this morning and tried to unlock my phone to check my emails that I got over the night. Was unable to unlock phone, soft button would recognize my touch and light up but would not respond. If i open the keyboard I can unlock and proceed normally and that corner of the screen will respond find. Once I close the keyboard and go into portrait all of the TF3d menus in the bottom L/H side will light up but not open. Last program I installed several days ago was LockDevice v1.6 I have had it running for 2 days with no problems.
I was running stock Verizon Rom with 6.1 and TF3D. I did a hard reset to clear everything to the factory settings and still have the problem. Any ideas?
Have you tried taking the battery out for 3 minutes and seeing that helps? My guess would be no if the hard reset didn't work. Another attempt would be to see if you can try to re-flash the stock rom.
Whenever a cab that requires a soft reset just that soft reset, my Tilt 2 doesn't fully start up. It gets to the lock screen and loads the top bar, but the rest of it remains black. The phone responds to nothing (but possibly because it's locked) and of course there is no way to unlock it. Any other kind of soft reset or hard reset doesn't have this problem. Anyone else have similar symptoms?
Sorry if a similar problem has been posted, but I can't find an answer. After going to the Microsoft Marketplace on my Tilt 2 there was a prompt to install a G-Alarm update. After installing the update, it asked to restart. Since restarting, my phone is no longer working. It also will not let me turn on or off the phone using the power button on top.
After a soft reset it will go to the AT&T World Phone screen, then HTC screen, then the e2ROM screen. After a hard reset, it will go through those screens and then pull up my background and freeze. The clock on the top status bar will work at this time, but everything is frozen. I have been using the e2 Rom (File - e2_ROM_ATT_20091221).
Any suggestions??
I was typing out a text today (normal mode, not landscape) and out of nowhere the screen faded out and went to the lock screen. What was even more peculiar was that I had no option to unlock the phone; when I tried to swipe my finger where the unlock button should be, the screen dimmed and the letters for the time turned blue while the other stuff (signal, battery, etc) disappeared from the screen.
When I hit the home button I was able to get back into the phone, however it faded back to whatever mock lock screen was there before. The second time I hit the home button it let me get back to the text and finish it.
Has anyone else had a similar issue? I've unlocked my bootloader, rooted, and have flashed several different radios (currently on ugkl1, stock was xxkk6).

Click to collapse
I have not had that happen...I am unlocked, rooted, and running a custom rom and kernel. The only thing i did not switch is the radio...So may be what is causing it?
I reset the radio to XXKK6 just for safe measure.
Anyone else seen this issue?
I had weird problems with typing messages in Handcent with weird lag and even force closes on 4.0.2. Have not had these problems on 4.0.4.
So, as it turns out, this problem was cause by my own stupidity...
What was happening as that, in a very small amount of time, my thumb hit the task manager button, and the Clock app was the one that was right under my thumb, which was subsequently selected. For some reason, if you start Clock and try to swipe your finger, the screen dims.
So, total false alarm. Move along, nothing to see here.
