Just got an S9 moto headset to listen to music. all works fine, apart from the 1 sec pause in playback of music every 30 sec or so.
i have tryied turning off activsync, and turning on Flight mode, but still a delay.
Does anyone know if there is an update to the bluetooth, or other ideas ?

I´m constantlly getting lag when using Navigon with bluetooth head set. Its cutting out half the sentences and Im loosing important info. Is this a known problem?
Im using the GPS directions driving a MC and am thewrefore not able to watch the screen.
I'm getting this with Co-pilot too...
If the sentence was "Turn left in 100 meters..."
all I hear through my Jabra bluetooth is:
"...100 meters..."
It's almost as though the A2DP has a 'sleep' when there is no audio (power saving?), but then lags when it 'wakes' up.
That's exactly what is happening, it shuts down into a power saving mode when no sound it being sent, I get the same thing with notifications on my Jabra headset, I will get the end of the notification sound as it takes almost a second to "switch on" when the sound is played.
I get silence about every 30 seconds for a split second when playing music or sat nav, through a motorola bluetooth T505?
Any workarounds?
Hey guys,
I have recently started to experience some weird bluetooth problems. I have a Softbank HTC Desire (I live in Japan) and a LBT-AR200C2 bluetooth receiver. I had absolutely no problems whatsoever the first two weeks.
Yesterday, the bluetooth receiver would connect but no audio would play through the headphones. When playing a track from the player it would just skip over in 2-3 second increments and no audio was present (not even from the phone speakers). Not even reboot helped.
So, I decided to unpair and pair again to try and eliminate the problem. Everything is working now ... except for one big problem - the bluetooth disconnects every 3-4 mins. So, I start listening to a track, the screen goes to sleep and 2 mins later the music stops and Bluetooth disconnects. I unlock the phone and the Bluetooth reconnects immediately.
Besides the HTC Music Player i Have 3 and Museek installed. Could that be a problem?
Update: Listening to music without the Bluetooth receiver is ok - the music does not stop.
I seem to be getting exactly the same problem with my car kit.
I can pair it up, both car kit and Desire recognise that they are paired yet after approx 2 / 3 minutes it disconnects yet as the above poster indicates - it worked flawlessly for about 2 weeks.
I have deleted all the pairings, reset both the car kit and the desire back to Factory defaults but the problem happens straight away.
Googling desire and bluetooth seems to throw up a number of potential issues so was wondering if anybody out there had similar problems and whether anybody actually has a work around
cheers

Same issue with my Motorola HT820 headphones. Drop calls back to the handset and get silent periods when listening to music.

I have a pair of LG-TONE HBS-730 earphones and also a FM transmitter in my car. Last night and this morning I had a similar problem as yours, and I had to restart the phone so I could hear music and calls through the bluetooth devices. A couple of hours ago, I tried again and everything worked very well, BUT after disconnecting them, the phone went like it was on Silent Mode. No sound at all, no ringtone, no music, even the alarm didn't emit any sound, so I had to restart the phone and sound got back to normal. At this moment I am doing some tests connecting and disconnecting the BT earphones, but the problem is gone, so I don't know what's going on.

On my s3 it paired automatically! on the s4 i had to do this.....
With the Power off, press the CALL button and move the power switch to the ‘ON’ side at the same time for 4 seconds to manually place the headset in pairing mode
I hope this helps!
Use BT all the time on my gs2 ill try this out tomorrow and see if there is anything out of the ordinary.
Needing to pair the bt device to the phone is very normal for the very first use - especially if its been paired with another device in its history. Ive found bt devices (headsets like the jabara bt3030/street2) often cant really have more than 1 or two pairs total or they dont connect / dont stay connected properly.
Also the samsung bt stack has had lots of issues with BT devices over the galaxy generations. hopefully its not back.
I've used a Moto S10 & S11 HD stereo BT and 2 different Jawbones without issue.
I just bought a z2 about a week ago. Been a great phone so far. It updated to Oreo as soon as I turned it on.
There is one issue. Bluetooth. When I originally connected it to my Alpine cd-hd148bt, it would stream music, but the phone profiles would not load. So I updated the bt firmware on the headunit. Now if I restart the headunit, it will connect with all the appropriate icons for audio and phone. If I start an audio app, it says playing, the head says playing, but there is no sound. After a couple of minutes, the entire phone will disconnect from the deck. It won't come back until I pull the faceplate and reboot the headunit. Even turning off the car and powering off won't get the bt to work.
Does anyone have any ideas? I love listening to Pandora, and my city has a hand free law, so I would love to have the phone working also.
PLEASE HELP!! I will owe you a cookie.
Thanks
Edit: unlocked bootloader and magisk 15.2.
im also having issues with bluetooth, since headset will disconnect from time to time and while streaming music to a bluetooth speakers (bose, harman, jbl, chinese, etc) audio will cut from time to time, until bluetooth connection drops an will have to restart phone in order to connect again
I am also having Bluetooth issues, keeps disconnecting from my headphones, or connects and doesn't stream. Supposedly with Oreo Bluetooth had been updated to version 5.
