Transparent Top/Bottom Today bar

Hi,
First to avoid the confusion, I'm NOT looking for the transparent curtain in TF3D, im not using TF3D.
I've got many nice wallpapers for today screen, however, the top (the bar that contains: start button, network signal, battery icon) & and bottom bar (2 soft button) make this unpleasant.
I've searched around and came across SkinMobile 5 & VJToggleToggle/Today ... however, it looks to me like they don't support WM6.1, nor WVGA.
SkinMobile5 v1.1 is what i tried, and it doesn't provide transparency, and has to be run in background
Could any one offer me a solution to make these bars transparent so I can see my wallpaper fully?
I thought these should be some png files that I can set transparency to?

I can't seem to find any either if you know of some why not just get a link please instead of post whoring

i too woul be interested in transparent menu/task bars. let me know if you find anything.

Well i can 't find ANY when using search on transparent menu,
so if anybody know a link please . . . .?

i hope due to the wm6.5 wich has actually transparent windows task bar and bottom menue bar
it might be possible to get an mix version also for the diamond.
or only an tsk file which has this "colour for transparence"
would be realy cool
if anyone has it please send me an pm

That's EXACTLY what I was thinking of !!
I've been trying to modify one of the Pocket PC Themes (a .tsk file), but unfortunately couldn't find no transparancy options for the top & bottom bars as you indicated ...
I used Netswap ThemeMaker X (TMX) & Microsoft Pocket PC 2002 Theme Generator.... Perhaps there is an advanced software somewhere that could actually help...

Did u try this ? This is for WM6.5
Never got a chance to try it myself but looks promising
Give it a try but start from here
It will work on WM 6.1 & 6.5 + any Manila version

It may be possible for WM 6.5 with MaxTTM, but not for WM 6.1, MaxTTM can only change the icons of the taskbar but not the transparency. Hope someone comes out with an answer for the transparency - ( please note that the transparency is required only for the taskbar and the command bar - not the taskbar icons nor the softkeys) - Thankyou.

Nope...

use hdwall just use the search function or:
1. Take your wallpaper
2. creat to new pngs one called mysoftkeybar.png and the other mytaskbar.png or whatever you like. (480x52 Pixel)
3.put the top of your wallpaper first 52 rows (sorry for my english) in the taskbar.png and the bottom 52 in the softkeybar.png.
4. Copy theme into \Windows\ folder
5. Edit the registry entries:
\\\registry\HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Today\Softkeybar\SoftKeyBarImage
to your pngs
same for taskbar
and reset device.
but i highly recomend to use hdwall much easier
oh i neary forgot your wallpaper image should now be 480x692 pixel's for the normal today (crop of the bars)
for manila use the normal wallpaper

(Req) HTC Touch HD Theme

Hi im new on this forum but i orderd my HD and im getting it tomorrow.. and i dont want to use the standerd theme on the phone so i wanted to Req a theme if anyone wanted to help me out :/

unzip the files copy to memory card switch off TF3D copy files (using totalcomander) to windows directory and switch TF3D back

Just slide to settings, tap "Wallpaper"
and it will ask you to set it to the default wallpaper, just tap yes

I'm lokking for the new wallpaper. The one with a little gray in the middle and thats fades into black on the edges.
I think its the Topaz background I'm looking for.

you wrote that you need the Stock HD wallpaper so this that i upload is the Stock Wallpaper you don`t explain that you need from some other ROOM.. also you think its the topaz but maybe is not? so how someone to help you when you can`t explain what exactly you need!

I would also have this wallpaper. It is the one with light circle in the middle. I found one on this forum but it wasn't the original and the quality was very poor. JPG or PNG of original HTC image would be great. Thanks...

I use the first one and works fine for me even though feels a bit different than the one I had when using a cooked rom but could be just my imagination. Both are cab files though and change the wallpaper plus all the backgrounds for tabs in case you are looking for just the wallpaper...

Image from the first link is original and is the one I am looking for, but it is not avalible in JPG. It is only CAB.

Manila 2.5 Backround for all Tabs !!! (Help)

Hello Guys today i flash my HD with the lates WM 6.5 ROM from Leo with Manila 2.5 and the ROM is just amazing very stable and fastes ever but i don`t like ONE THING the backround of all tab is very ugly.
The question is how im able to change the backround?
When i was with Manila 2.1 was easy to create a cab with some HD wallpaper and thats it but now i don`t know how to do it with Manila 2.5
On the setting i have to choice Wallpaper for your home tab and that is.. im able to choice whatever i want but this is only for the HOME TAB i need some help please
I prefer all my other TABS the backround to be simple Black or dark or to be able to change Bacrkound for ALL tab to be the same!
Please tell me how to do this!

just try the lite version from above thread. Its just as easy u wish. Install the little cab do a softreset and pick up your wallpaper of choice via the change homescreen wallpaper

[Help] How To Creat Your Own Tp2 Theme?

hello, ive searched for alot of themes for my tmobile tp2 nd havntd had found alot. nd some werent jst my taste. so iwould like to kno how to make one. please help me out on this one. and of course themes il make wil be posted up.

Imma help you out. 1 i dont think theres a app for this now if you saying you want to make a background you can make when in like photoshop your self and save it on your phone to use as background. If you trying to get a theme with more color or something you need to look up roms and how to flash them on i know how but im not sure if that what your looking for

no not really, i just want like themes u can install using cabs., but thanx aniwais. effort appriciated =]

Check this out.
They aren't actual theme installers but this is what I am using right now on my Tilt 2 because I don't wanna flash it yet and I don't want to change my TouchFlo version. Disable Manila, install the transparent slider and clock, then install "no curtains" then install HTC Leo icons then install HDWallpapers. Use HDWall (on your PC) to create backgrounds that will work on all tabs of TF3D and then use the same picture as the background for your phone. Works great and I haven't experienced any problems so far. Also, you might wanna check out the TF3D customizer. But i don't know if it works on the stock TF3D. Hope this helps. Now, if only someone will tell me where I can locate the background image TF3D is using. I tried to search for it using file explorer, total commander, etc. but no luck...
