Theme for Greek users (new manila)

Using Giannis86 main graphic theme (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=492274) and adding some more stuff to fit better to HD, plus some other editing (like black clock, no bottom and top curtains, etc.), I managed to make a theme that has the Greek names of the cities in the manila clock-tab and calendar-tab and weather-tab, plus the weather forecasts in calendar-tab and weather-tab, plus the initial of the days in calendar-tab and weather-tab, in Greek (all the other stuff are in English).
I included also, the registry key to make possible the addition of other Greek cities in weather (if someone give me the city codes for the accuweather I could add them too, as I added Spetses for my use).

How can i change the Background image to All tabs ?

Just install the cab, and it will do the rest.
edit: If you want another background image, you have to modify 70083a29_manila, 77feee1d_manila, 29cff4fe_manila, 058acf31_manila, files.

[Manila Mod][23-May-2010] High Quality Wallpaper Patch

Intro:
This Manila (TouchFlo3D/Sense) modification is made to complement maranell0's excellent HDWall.
It does the following:
- fixes the WM6.5 skinned taskbar wallpaper misalignment (seen as small black line below the taskbar)
- fixes other general misalignments depending on Manila version
- allows you to select a different High Quality Home Tab wallpaper
- [Manila 2.0 & 2.1 only] allows you to set a wallpaper on the Manila Start Menu (this is not the WM6.5 Start Menu!)
UPDATE 23/05/2010:
New version with landscape support. Universal version for any Manila 2.5.xxxx version.
Use it with the new HDWall v0.29b.

I remade the patch for Manila 2.5. Now it replaces less manila files so it's more compatible with other Manila mods (such as the 16/20 quick links or Max Manila Ultimate).
UPDATE 24/11/2009:
Support for Manila 2.5 (HTC Sense).
The patch fixes the line below the taskbar (visible when using WM6.5 skinned taskbar) and the bug in landscape on Photo and Music tabs.
It also allows you to set a different HQ Home Tab Wallpaper.
You have to use HDWall v0.28b or newer with this patch.
Known issues:
- Max Manila: In Max Manila Setting you must set the wallpaper to default (D). Also make sure you use the Sense - All Tabs profile in HDWall.
Requirements:
This patch will only work on Manila (TouchFlo3D/Sense) versions 2.0, 2.1 and 2.5.
To check the version go to the settings tab in TouchFlo, at the bottom there should be "About" and "TouchFLO 3D" followed by the version number.
Update: With recent Manilas the version info is no longer there. If that is the case for you try to find the Manila version info here: on the Settings Tab hit All Settings then System, Device Information, Software Information.

How to install:
Download one of the CABs attached below. Download the right cab for your version of Manila: 2.0, 2.1 or 2.5.
Install the cab on your phone and you'll have a freshly patched manila with high resolution home tab support.
Now, in order to set wallpapers you have use HDWall by maranell0. The old way of setting wallpapers from TF3D Settings tab is disabled.

Depends on which version of TF3D you have. This patch only works on versions 2.0 and 2.1. To check the version go to the settings tab in TouchFlo, at the bottom there should be "About" and "TouchFLO 3D" followed by version number.

Beautiful, thanks very much for this.
Working in Onkolog 25/6 build (WM 6.5).
However, there is a slight but noticeable more lag for a tab to come up after it is tapped. ie. after I press the 'Programs' tab it will take half a second more for the programs to be displayed on screen.
It is small enough for me to live with for now, but time will tell how I will think of it when I use the phone on the go.

Did you make you wallpaper with or without UltraHQ compression?
While I was testing I noticed some issues with UltraHQ - tab switch lag and choppy animations for tab slider and hide/show clock.
Without UltraHQ everything runs smoothly.

Now for the question. As I understand, the file names are different for the home tab, and for the "all tabs".. Can I create a home page image with "your" profile, than make a "rest of the tabs" image with the default profile, and run the "create cab" process that adds all of these images into 1 cab.. Will this make an installer that changes both the home tab and the rest of the tabs? I mean.. I hope so
Update: YES, it DOES work! Now, there's still the weird difference in padding (or at least I think so.. The bottom of the image seems ok, but I think the top it seems to move a couple of pixels higher.. but nonetheless, now it looks EPIC! Thanks a lot for the awesome update!

I guess I noticed a small... bug.. ?
The home tab doesn't have a "hashed" area on the top.. The operator name now is printed directly on the background..
And of course the non-transparent slider, but I suppose that's not an issue with your cab

I didn't notice this before because I was using completely different home and non-home wallpapers. I'll try to fix it so they align correctly.

I've got 2.0 on Diamond 2, Stock ROM

I updated the first post with new CABs for both versions. All good now

Very weird. I flashed a Manila 2.0 ROM on my Blackstone and everything seems to be OK: Home,Non-Home
You must have a slightly different version of Manila. I'm not going to be able to fix that. Sorry

The only thing i want to know is how to change default grey colour on tabs text (ie sms messages, calender items on home tab etc etc. Its often difficult to read when using a lighter colour picture, making it useless.
Any clues to simplify this task?

co0kiemonster.... GREAT WORK. I have 1 small question though. I realise this app was probably designed with the devices which have tf installed as stock, but I'm using a SE XPERIA with Smaberg's TouchX 10.1 Rom. I've installed your cab (i've tried manila 2.0 & 2.1 cabs) and there is one small side effect. I can no longer tap on the clock and go into time settings. I can tap on the alarm and set those so it's not a big problem, more a "would like to have". I thought I'd bring it to your attention for any further releases.
Besides that... NICE, I can have matching wallpaper through all tabs including the start menu... SWEET!! Ta very much!

DUSK Theme for 1919 2.5 manila & WM6.5 16

Hello,
I installed DUSK theme but I got the following problems:
1) the dialers don't seem to work (none of them)
2) the keyboard is for the old manila with old xt9 words presentation
3) the taskbar cabs don't modify all the icons (message received , task manager) for the task I had to install showcase.
4) the dusk theme always set an ocean theme but manila shows it shrinked
5) the start icon are very big still no way to install them correctly (the icons not inside the cab are presented in not nice way)
If you have news about those issues let me know, I love the Dusk theme!

Why do you have opened a new Thread for this and not posted in the existing Dusk Theme Thread?
Probably you have the wrong WM6.5 build or choosen the wrong Dusk Theme version.

These should work on 2.51919 too, though I haven't been able to test them myself.

The zip file is packed for use with MaxTTM or your chosen explorer and includes the original icons.

I tried them on Miri R13 ( WM 6.5 21876 ) Manila 2.519202525.
The icons did not work ! nothing changed, looks like there is a difference between 1919 and 1920 ?

Yes, sorry, should have said. These are packed to be used with the MaxTTM app as a new component. You can also copy the manila files to the Windows dir using Total Commander or Resco Explorer (File Explorer will not work). The original files are included for anyone who wants to change back. I'll make a cab, but first I need to learn how lol. Any advice?

I tried copy-paste overwriting the original files ALSO I tried converting them into a CAB then installing them, both methods failed.

I have collected some on my own and I have a beautiful looking Comm Manager selction option (thanks to the original poster cant remember who it is )
instructions : just unzip the file and copy it to Windows folder.
I am sharing it here , I hope you dont mind .

There's a load of sliders in my first post in the slider pack - black, white, grey, transparent and glass versions of the stock slider. Antoniomistretta has just posted a new transparent slider too. As well as this chuckz07 has posted a standalone transparent slider fix here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=587646 for people who just wanted a transparent slider without any other themeing. He's made fixes for 2.5 AND 2.1 Oh and gzregorz10's transparent slider (the one used in Max's Ultimate theme by default) can be found here.

Real Blue Theme for ViperOne Rom is a Heavily modified version of the "Real Icons" theme which was originally created by jbeitel and then it was ported to the HTC One by Krocko and I have been working on for about 3 to 4 weeks now and its finally ready. Other themers such as Basil3, who created the Real Icons status bar theme and killerb777, who created the Real Icons sense icon pack, were all inspired by the original "Real Icons" theme. I really loved the look of the realistic icons on my One so I wanted to make my own version of the Real Icons theme with blue as the base color of the theme and it also includes modified versions of all the Real Icon themed variants, all which have been modified by myself. I use to make themes for my old phones like the HTC Desire HD, the HTC Amaze and the Google Nexus. I really miss making themes so I decided to give it a shot again. This theme started off for personal use at first but then I figured that I might as well share it with the community that always gives me so much. So here it is and I hope that you all enjoy it as much as I did while making it!!!​

Fixes:
Having problems with the overlay colors on your notification pull down? Here is what you must do to fix them:
First, change the "Header Buttons" which is at the bottom of "Header Bar" on the Colors tab to #00000000 for the icons in the top right corner of the pull down to show the way they are supposed to. Second, make sure that you have "Overlay - On" and "Overlay - Off" found under "Native EQS", both set to #00000000 for the icons on the quick settings screen of the pull down to show properly. Lastly, you can set "Action Button" to any color that you wish, but just make*sure*that you set the alpha on it so that you can still see the icon through the color when you press it... Instructions for Installing Real Blue Theme for ViperOne Rom​Tutorial originally created by:*ghostryder12*and can be found Here on page #31 of this thread.
Quick Settings Pull Down:
To get the icons correctly on the Quick Settings Pull Down, you just need to set the Overlay on and the Overlay off color to #00000000 (tweaks -> color -> native eqs - overlay Color)*

If you are still having display issues after setting all color codes, it is most likely cause by having another theme/mod installed before installing Real Blue Theme. It is most likely a leftover file somewhere deep and hard to find. You will have to dirty flash the rom to get everything related to the past theme deleted and ready to reflash the Real Blue Theme.
ALWAYS MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP FIRST​
Reboot into recovery, then select install. Select the ViperOne ROM you are currently using to flash. Tic the “agree with terms” box>Next>Next. Select Install ViperOne. Tic Install without wiping>Next. Tic Keep Existing Tweaks>Next. Tic Viper Boot. Select Next and tic your Custom Carrier Tweaks>Next. Now you are ready to flash the ROM. Once done with flashing the ROM, you MUST make the initial boot up of the rom before flashing the theme, it take a few minutes but not to worry because this is normal. Once you are booted up, you can reboot back into recovery and install the Real Blue theme..
EDIT: If you are using a custom kernel like ElementalX or Bulletproof for example, you will need to re-flash the kernel as well. If you are on the ViperOne ROM using the stock kernel, you are good to go.

A year ago I begged the themers to create something like that for the HTC OneS.
Today I like the flat sense 5 style more though.

the charge animation is working just fine on my end. are you sure you selected the right battery that comes with my theme? because if you did then it is the exact same version that is on the Venom Hub and again it is working just fine here and with the guys that tested the theme... Also I have already mentioned in the thread that I will fix Blinkfeed soon, so you don't have to remind me on what someone has already told me. Thanks

yes I think so by removing this file from the zip "Real_Blue_v1.0_For_ViperOne_v4.2.0.zip\system\framework\HTCCommonctrl.jar". But I am not 100% sure.... I don't normally use blinkfeed myself so I never noticed that it was dark like that, I will have a fix up soon.

Do you have that too?

Hi really nice theme. Great work.
Just a Couple of small things the colour for the phone number in phone book is real light and difficult to see. Also any chance you could theme the quick settings in the side bar with the real icons?????

to everyone that is having troubles with blinkfeed and other apps not looking right then please install this file or push from the rom zip /system/framework/HTCCommonctrl.jar.

yes and everyone will, it is a by product of using VRThemeing, to remove it del the folder on your sd card called "/sdcard/vrtheme/" and it will be gone, in the next update i will make sure that this folder is deleted before the phone reboots
v1.1 is now in the second post, the only change in it from v1.0 is that Blinkfeed and other apps that had a really dark background and dark text are now fixed... if you already have v1.0 installed then you must install the temp fix file to fix your problems, and it is in the post above or in the second post under Fixes.
