Classic Black Themes with Analog and flip clock
These are the newest.
First from all a big thanks to Max for the 1c684cd8 manila file. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=480916
I have make the new square analog clock, in two versions: Black font and transparent font. At the most screenshots I have the transparent.
There are cabs at the attached files for the clocks and for every background.
The Cabs are for the new manila, so install only if you have cooked rom with Manila version 2.
Cabs work without problems and any time you want unistall them, you can do that from Settings/remove Programs.
You can put Official slider for Tabs Icons if you don't like the mine.
You can find the file at the attached. Unzip and copy-paste overwrite at the windows folder.
If someone with older manila want to use the backgrounds I give them like wallpapers so as to use from Settings/wallpaper.
Just make right click at the picture and save us at your pc.

Is it moveable like normal analog clocks? Also, does this work with mun_rus background for all tabs on the new manila v3?

It is just a test for the looking.
I have to try to make the clock skin to be real file, not a picture just on the background.
I will see..... if no, max has nice clocks.
Mun ras cab it isn't customise until now.

Just a little suggestion. Could you remove the clock base from the background of the tabs except "Home". I have read somewhere that there are different manilla files for the Home background and all other backgrounds (not sure if this is the case with manilla3) so maybe it is possible to use the base as part of the backgroung (great idea btw!) and not have it mess with the looks of other tabs. And another thing - a slightly longer clock hands won't hurt either

I work on this my friend. But because I like a clock from Max I will try also with this.
Maybe I change the background. I have find an other very nice. I want see how looks in HD screen and I will upload.

Thought I would share my S2U2 Theme for the Touch HD. I made it to look as close as possible to the default Tf3D theme.
Thx to all the other theme developers whose work I was able to build on.

try under registry hcu/software/a_c/s2u2 to edit the TimeFormat string to HH':'mm
stupid trick that forces the clock to display like 01:00.

I'm a new user of HD, and i like your slider lock, this is a stupid question may i know how to install it? i only know how to install using .cab files, but .zip, i have no idea, thanks!!!
Search in the forum for S2U2 or Slide 2 Unlock 2 for the programm cuz it's only a theme for it

Are you sure you have the VGA-version of S2U2 installed?
Works perfectly...I only changed in registry hours display to show two digits instead oneThanks

How did you managed it to put the date UNDER the clock. And how are the appointments shown? I'm asking that, because I did that thema myself a few weeks ago but the dates and the appointments were shown on the clock. So they were useless and I had to disable them.

I selected clock\ (not clockA, clockH or clockHS)
I have same problem - No dogits displayed
I set clock to clock\
Time format is HH:mm
any Idea?

Thanx for what you done, it helped me out alot. I wanted to create a vista style theme for s2u2. Iv just done it, iv included screenshots of what it looks like. Iv created my own vista orb style arrows, and since this place is all about helping and sharing iv attached the files.

I have make 2 crystal flip clocks and one black special for Dutty's rom.
There are CAB for them.
Crystal black clock it isn't transparent.
The most of the cooked roms, they haven't the original HTC wallpaper.
If you like and you search for it, you can find here.
I have make also one little different but better than the original.

My friend this is not from me but from HTC .
Also official clock it is like this. If you see my numbers before I made them manila file, they haven't this line.
There is not solution to cancel the line.

I tired downloading the real crystal clock to my sprint htc hero and when I go to open it, it says no application can be found to open this file. Do you know what I have to do to install this on my phone. I really want this clock and can't seem to get it to work. Thanks in advance.

Hello,the screenshots aren't visible,thus I would like to know it is for which version of manila sense 2.1 or 2.5,I have a hd2 and I'm interessed for this clock?

I mean working!!! Because some made by max are only for duttys roms.. The one from metal v2 theme (see thread) works ok.. but then you have a backround that is simple grey and you can change it!! (so only clock shows up)
I tried almost everything that i could find..
So any help?? (because no one is asking for clocks etc should i suppose that is easy or something??)

I was looking at this this morning, takes the carrier away on on mine has a semi transperant grey top curtain that I can't see how to remove. The clock itself is fine except for these two things. Maby the Developer could look into that. Yes on Manila 3

I wonder if you're getting the grey top curtain on yours George because you have the old manila as I do. From what I've been reading, not all manila 3 themes will work with the old manila.
Maybe you could implement this clock into one of your themes George!

Ya that's what I have as well. I guess the manila that can go into landscape and has the new calendar tab is newer than the build we have.
I guess the real question is to 2token2. What manila are you running on your HD?

stay tuned made a break trough, can't get yhe carrier ( not that that really worries me) but now have a working single clock on it's own with date, boy was that a fiddle.

I think what you guys need is this editor. It's simple to use. Just install in storage card and use it to make your top, bottom or curtain fully transparent.
P/S: I install to Device because I have to re-install it whenever I upgrade or Hard reset. Dont know why.

I'm sure there was a plugin that came with the LG Today Plugin that removed the bottom most bars...... NOT SURE if this works on the HD.
There just downloaded.. in the zip is dciNoBar.exe again NOT sure if this works on the HD.

Those Black bars (glossy button effect) is part of the Dusk WM6.5 theme. You will not be able to install this on your stock HTC ROM (AFAIK)

Anyway back on track CLYDEB1 you seem to know your stuff, I have the dusk theme installed I have the 2.1 version with no problems although I do not have the same bottom bars as in the above pic (soft keys) is this because of 2.1 ?
Not a real concern...just a more of a complete look for Dusk with those

You need to install Dusk 6.5 Theme.zip as well.
Unzip the file and add the contents to \My Documents\Themes\Dusk (make sure it reads this way only - no lower level or will not work) and then go to Today settings and select one of the themes. It works well on R9 (no issues with Manila 2.1). Do not change the background picture however to those included in the theme as this causes these black bars to be duplicated.
There are some added benefits of this theme, it changes the scroll bars to a nice glossy black and changes the highlights in most screens from that terrible green which makes it impossible to read the contents to a nice deep black.

True, but I knew that the poster is also on Dutty 6.5 R9, but yes for others it does only work on 6.5

You can try with nuenobar1.3 or 2.0, it depends on your ROM I think. For me (TouchHD and WM6.5 ROM) it doesn't work... Maybe you can have more chance.

If you are on WM6.5 try the Dusk theme from my link posted above. It works.
I already have Dusk Theme and it's ok.
I'm sorry I thought that the topic of this thread was the cancelation of the Black Bottom Bar... And I suggested NueNoBar 1.3 or 2.0. It's a mistake, sorry.

No problem. It is not that clear I guess as to whether the OP wants to add or remove the bars. I assumed as they are running on the standard ROM that is was to add rather than remove the bars???

I have been using HD Wall to add custom icons and it works great. I too wanted different sliders than the black default one. I now use Pamas clear slider and it works good. I will try some of the ones on the link you provided.
A slightly off topic question. Why are many using a cab to install icons? I find it a lot easier to just copy the appropriate manila files directly. Same with the clear curtains and bottom bar. I have all of my manila files backed up. I also have a folder with just the backed up original icon manila files and subfolders with the custom ones. I can switch back and forth very quickly this way.
