it go from Nsfan ROM to verizons offical rom?
Yes, you can reflash to back to a stock ROM anytime.
If it is for warranty work run the 0.40 locker to relock the phone as well.

I have an evo 4g of Japan. The KDDI network. I've root it. I'm using the rom CM7. But now I want to go back to the original rom 2.3.3.
I had KDDI FW.Here: http://www.filefactory.com/file/cfd...15.00.03.04_NV_2.11_release_176711_signed.exe
Now what do I do with this exe file? Do I need to unroot ? Or I will install directly?
If you just want to go back to the stock rom, you do not need to unroot. However, if it's an exe file, it's likely an RUU, which WILL unroot you and return you to stock. If you just want to return to stock and keep root, you need to flash a stock rom zip file. I'm not sure about the Japan version, if you can use the regular roms or not.
Hi,
Rogers is supposed to be releasing Jellybean later this month. If I use Keis to go back to stock from KyanROM will my phone still be unlocked to use with another carrier?
Peace,
KedarWolf.
P.S. I do plan to go to a Jellybean based ROM after debloated custom ROM is made based on the official Jellybean release.
You won't lose your unlock, just root. Its the same as using ODIN to return to stock.
Thanks!!!
Kinda new at rooting/Android etc, right now I have .434 rooted with docomo status/nav bar mod, I want to get all the way back to stock, is the only way to do this is to hook up the phone to a pc and use pc companion? Factory data reset doesn't do it. So let's say I want everything wiped, cwm recovery/root/mods, all of it. PC Companion is the only way?
I used Flashtool and a stock firmware to get back to stock. That gets rid of root.
I'm not sure about un/locked bootloader though.

So if I use flashtool with a generic .434 firmware that would get me back to stock and wipe everything in the process ( i intend to flash the rooted .253 that is out there after this...)?
Similar question here as well. Unlocked bootloader, custom kernel, custom ROM. I imagine just flashing FTF is not going to fix everything? Do we re-lock bootloader via sony's website first?
To go back to stock, just simply flash the FTF (with Flashtools) corresponding to your phone model, that will get rid of all the data, even the custom kernel to give you a Stock Rom & Stock Kernel. Then you can start all from 0. There's no need to lock the bootloader again to do this.
For warranty purposes, i need to do these. Currently, my FLO's bootloader is unlocked, rooted and has custom kernel and recovery. but it is still in Stock JSS15R Rom. how will i unroot, flash stock kernel and relock without downloading stock roms? is that possible? because the method i only see here is to flash stock rom or use nexus toolkit to unroot. but i think when i use the toolkit it downloads the stock rom again right? thanks in advance!

I flashed custom rom using some method found on xda which keeps the bootloader locked. But now I want to get back to stock but can't get the flashing software from Xiaomi's official website since I need to be on stock rom for getting the permission. Is there any other way to get back to stock?
use miflash to flash Fastboot rom in EDL mode.
