Hello People,
Any one know if there is an iTunes for WM yet if so WHERE
Nope. I don't think that will happen, ever.
There are other WM based audio managers, though. And there are a lot of PC based media center servers with a web interface, you can use them remotely from WM.
You might be interested in doubleTwist.
It claims to sync even your purchased songs to a lot of devices.
doubletwist
Interesting... Apple just had another update to itunes. anyone having some problems with doubletwist?
Mediamonkey is a great tool with a lot of features. one of the best: it's free (there's also a gold version which isn't free).
it will also recognize your WM-Based phone and you can easily sync songs.
If you're searching for an "iTunes" look-alike player on WM, search the forum for "Mortplayer" (with iMort skin), "S2P", "Melody" or "Lumen"
Cheers
Lumen is still alpha and doesn't play any music yet.
Hello people!
Are there any news on iTunes for WM-based PPC?
Missing the point...
I believe some of the repliers above are missing the point of the question. The real point behind this question is not whether there is a music organizer/sync app but if there is an app for downloading music straight to your phone just like iTunes does. Obviously since the user uses iTunes on his or her computer an iTunes app would be a great solution but ANY program that you could purchase and download music from would be absolutely great. In my opinion that is the one and only thing that still makes me want an iPhone even with all the love I have for my TP2.
So, if anyone knows of a decent app for purchasing and downloading music for a WM phone(similar to iTunes) that would be a great thing to suggest here.
Hi,
I have read and expierienced, that TF3D shows only the covers of the songs, but not of an album where you then could choose the individual songs to listen.
I have also read some comments "if you wanted iPhone style should have bought iPhone".
Well, I agree, if I wanted iPhone I would have probably bought one, but I did choose Touch HD. However, I was not aware of the limitations of the TF3D music player (yes some more research prior could have tipped me of).
Now my question. Is it absolutely technically impossible to "activate/program" some plugin that would allow "iPhonic" behaviour?
Cheers,

Might be worth having a look at S2P in the Development forum? I have the OpenGL version installed with the Hardware video drivers here and it's very good.
s2p offers an interface really close to the apple one..but in my experience, it's so slow and doesn't work fine.
It was slow on mine without the D3D video driver. After installing that it was far faster.
where did you get the D3D video driver from ?
There's a link in the first post of the Hardware drivers link above.
by any chance is there a way to replace the TF3D's music player with S2P as the default player as mine is rather screwed and I have given up on trying to figure out why the player does not read my music files and sometimes and if they do, plays the music for a few seconds and stopped ...I have gone through almost all the forum pages in related to the player for a solution but no love...
hi there,
I tried to search a lot, but not remember the name of the software like that.
I remembered that Symbian and PPC also have the software with that function.
When you are in call conversation with someone, you wanna play one music file (mp3, wma...) as background music for both to listen.
Anyone helps me, pls?
I have lots of MV and KTV videos and I wish the phone would play them one by one automatically (like I did with CorePlayer or TCPMP in WM). But I just can't found any option for that. And I can't find any software like that either. Do you folks has any solution?
only ones which zune understands can be loaded onto the phone unfortunitely.
