How to Upgrade my HTC P3450 with WM6.1 or a better ROM

Hello TO ALL !!!
I am a just born user to this site and need someone's expertise to help me to upgrade my HTC P3450 with WM 6.1 or a better ROM.
I have gone to lots of that stuff in this forum but i am confused.
I AM NOT SURE = WITH WHICH ONE TO DO HSPL AND THE BEST SUITABLE ROM.
I have read lot about Onyx ROM, any suggestions on that - please.
Don't wanna brick my phone.

Tilt 8925 WM6.1

Hi i was trying to unlock the tilt phone
my current information is
- rom version : 3.57.502.2 wwe
- rom date : 07/17/08
- radio version : 1.65.21.18
- protocol : 25.88.40.05h

but it asking me to Downgrade the verzion of WM 6.1 to 6.0 but i dont know where do to get 6.0 ?
please help or How can i re-install the window 6.1 so the SIMLOCK error message wont show ?

Need Help While Cooking ROM to WM 6.5

Dear all,
first of all sorry if i am starting a new thread on same Issue.
well, i am using HTC Touch Pro (T7272) and since a long time i am trying to upgrade the ROM of my Windows Mobile but when ever i tried its brings my mobile in Rainbow color Screen mode which shows the progress Bar but it stands at "0" and after some time an error came the device is not responding. Please help me out on this error..!

i got the same problem n also the phone from spain... the only rom upgrade available is the spanish rom....

Ok i find the solution that worked like charm!
First of all you need to know if your HTC is elf or elfin.
1 You do that with an app called device info which you can find in this forum.
2 You need to USPL for elfin (in my case was elfin, there are 2 apps for that one is for elf and the second one is based on the first but is for elfin. DO NOT USE USPL for elf on elfin).
3 When you finish that you can flash any cooked rom on your HTC, DO NOT FLASH SHIPED ROMS! (Now I am testing onyx 5 and it is awesume one).
IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND SOMETHING DO NOT FLASH, go back and read everything you can. The poblem with me was not that is hard but too many people post dum posts. The procedure is simple as it can be. Huge Thank You to all the guys that worked on this problem and developed those perfect solutions.

Question about flash on qtek 9090

So , today i found one qtek 9090. Still cute machine , but i would flash it if i can with some newer firmware. My question is hot to do that in case its my first touch to that OS . The current software version is

ROM date : 12.13.2004
Protocol version : 1337,38
ExtROM 1.31.139WWE
Is there any better way to use this device with other rom ?

You can use one of my roms...

The problem is i read the tutorials how to flash but probably they arent correct, cus i didint understood nothing at all. May i ask for proper tutorial and needed programs to do that?
