A series of questions for the Experts

Hi guys,
first off let me give you props for having such a great site that is much help to newbies such as myself. I have a series of questions (just a few) that might be stupid but i'm curious to know if:
1) Is there any way to change the background of the text messaging screen? (i'm getting sick of looking at the white background)
2) Is it possible to change the default (system) font to something else? something, er... non traditional?
3) How do you set a background picture for the "slide to unlock" iphone simulator app? (the latter is a question from my forum-phobic brother)
I think that pretty much covers it, I hope I can get great minds to think (or at the very least make them chuckle)

1) no. and it is a good thing. i prefer my text readable )
2) it is. i saw cab files for that. search the modding and development forums
3) sure, it even includes a settings app. you have to put a wallpaper.jpg file somewhere in the s2u2 folder. you can also alter the corresponding registry key.

3) Answered well above. There is a Customize S2U2 thread with lots of wallpapers, and other image files.
You may get better answers using the "Questions and answers" sticky in the development and hacking forum here.

I can develop apps, but as a general rule of thumb, simply saying you need a dev is not going to get you many responses...
Please, be specific as to what you want done so that you can get Dev's that can actually do what you want!
Anywho, what is it that you want? Maybe I can do it...

Give us lots more information so we can help. I understand you may want to keep it to yourself, but you won't get much help if you do. It's difficult to answer a question that has little detail.

It sounds to me like he's trying to develop an app and has some problems, so I'd imagine he does know what he wants. Sounds like he just doesn't want someone pinching his idea.

ya just dont want knowbody to take my idea and use it for themselve and ya i know what i doing and what i want all have is 3 problems with my app/theme and just want someone to help me fix them like he is trying to do or anyone else

We cannot help you without any information though. You have to give us something or you're on your own mate. There's plenty of people that will help, but with nothing to go on we can't.

ok the things i need help with is 3 bugs that i have and cabfile problem i have with my app/theme.The bugs that i have is that the battery icon i made for my phone only works in the startmenu but the homescreen and one the battery icon doesn't do nothing all it does is when you are charging the battery it will just flashback back infourth but nothing is wrong with that it suppose to do that to tell that it is charging is just that the homescreen one battery icon not draining its just staying the same at full but when you go to start menu it works fine why is it doing this can someone fix this and for the next problem is that i cant seem to put the files into one cab file in install to myphone you always have to seperate them or in differentway u have to install them one by one just dont like doing that plus when people use this i dont want them to have to go look for them and constantly telling me where the cab files are at and the next problem i want to improve the htc theme texture to make is look more 3d and improve the clock to alittle more but not letting me or im not doing somthing right to change the codes to let me plz help.IF you want to take a look at the files you can follow this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=654166 THe files you should look for is these files HTC Diamond Home.cab,Standard HTCHome Edition.cab ,WindowHtc AnimatedCharge text.cab,wm6battery_solid_qvga.cab,Winjack Project! forgot one more thing if you want to to improve my theme you would need this cab file name htc homescreen,htc diamond home and htc homedition

From reading that, you need someone who's a theme modder. I'm an app developer, so I can't help mate.

are there anybody that replied to this that can mod themes like edit them all i want is the clock on my theme to look alittle better and the icons to and maybe a htc tabs and black with some good detail .

Im making an app for 1800PocketPC.com & most of it works fine, I just cant seem to figure out how to post comments to an article on a wordpress site.
Has anyone done anything like that before?

Did you have a look to wordpress application for windows phone ? ( they have a website => windowsphone.wordpress.org ). Sources also are available for free. (^_^).

Becaus Im making an app for anyone out there to view articles & comment on them, opposed to an app for creating & editing aticles.

[Q] 2 questions

Hi all!
First i would like to thank to all people that have made this forum, maintain it and help users. I am also very grateful for cyanogenmod that i am using.
Second of all, i have search this forum for a solution, and i didnt find it, i have used google too. If i have missed it somehow i apologize myself.
Since yesterday i am user of cyanogenmod 7.2.0-buzz and i like it so far (i didnt use any rom before as i had varanty which i didnt want to lose).
Everything is good so far, but there are 2 buggs (problems) which i dont know how to solve them, i would appreciate any help, even redirecting to another mod.
My problems are following:
- as several other members, i dont have working wifi (is there any solution for this in this particular mod version?)
- 4 main buttons of my htc wildfire always vibrate when i touch them (home, menu, back, search), i turn vibrating off in setting, but nothing happens. This is kinda annoying if text alot and surf the web.
So if anyone could help me fix it, i would appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

okay with it, I'm currently wearing stockrom 4.2.2 with the mod belongs to a master. that became my question is, how do I move this .. ahh well I just give the final image. picture can explain everything ya.. anyone can help me ?? hmm just make my normal statbar be finish statbar (which I edited via photoshop). for such items will result. can you help me?

Your status bar is awesome. I don't know which MOD you are using, You may contact the original modder with your request. I can't suggest any as i have never used it. But I feel it's taking too much of precious screen real estate. Ha.
