Hello,
We all know the problem of not being able to add a city that is not in the list of the default one in TF3D. I was trying to do that for about 3 hours for duttys 1.9 ROM, no luck.
The farest I went is here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=408918 . Downloaded 1.1 modified cab, installed. Added a city, BUT, after watching the weather tab, TF3D restarts itself. WTF? Ideas?

it is possible to edit the 2330fc3c_manila file with a sql-editor on your desktop. I edited it with sqllite admin ( see attached).
Disable TouchFlo 3d.
after editing the file on your desktop, copy it back to your device, in windows folder.
Then delete the forecast_database file in My Device/Application Data/HTC/database.
Or install the weatherdatabaseeditor version 1.2, after the installation of the editor, it generates the regkey by itself.
BUT DO NOT EDIT THE 2330fc3c_manila FILE WITH WEATHERDATABASEEDITOR.
After that you can start TF3D and select the city, you added with the sql-editor.

I can't figure out how to edit the manila file with the sql-editor.
Could someone help me out and add this to the 2330fc3c_manila file from Dutty 1.9?:

Find the 2330fc3c_manila file and copy to your desktop. right click on file and uncheck 'read only'. Then open with select sql-editor. Add your city close the program, rechech 'read only'. Simple as that.. Enjoy

Thank you. I have followed your instructions, but I cant copy the file back to the HD. It says "2330fc3c_manila could not be placed on the device. You do not have permission to create this item"
I can't delete the manila file at the device either. What am I doing wrong here

Hello,
Start->Einstellungen->Heute TF3D ausschalten.
Dann gehe mit dem Dateiexplorer auf:
Mein Gerät->Application Data->HTC->database die dort befindliche Datei löschen.
Dann TF3D wieder starten und es sollte funktionieren.
Anmerkung:
Hast du in der registry den Wetterserver geändert. Sollte das per Hand zu schwer für dich sein, dann installiere einfach den Weatherdatabaseeditor 1.2, kurz starten und einfach wieder schließen. Dann sollte es funktionieren.
Der regkey wäre:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila]
Weather.ServerURLOverride= http://weather.not2advanced.com/htcweather/forecastdata.php?ac=XDADevs&locCode=%ls&version= 1&device=innovation
English:
Deactivate TF3D in Home-settings.
Delete the file in Mydevice->Application Data->HTC-> database.
Activate again TF3d and checkif it is working or not.
If not working:
change the weatherdata server in the registry:
The easy way: Install Weatherdatabaseeditor 1.2,start the program and close it.
The the program creates the following registry key:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila]
Weather.ServerURLOverride= http://weather.not2advanced.com/htcweather/forecastdata.php?ac=XDADevs&locCode=%ls&version= 1&device=innovation
Delete forecast database file again and activate TF3D agin.Now it should work.

It did add my city to the list, thank you! But the weather does not show for this city, it tries to update and then says "Connection Error. There was a connection error while attempting to download weather data. Retry?". Like there is no connection, but it does update for other default cities. Can someone try this city themselves please? code: "EUR|CH|SZ021|CASLANO".
p.s. - I added a new row in the cities table, with ID 3600. There was 3599, maybe that's the limit which cannot be exceeded?

Hi...this mine "ExtROM"........I'm use it w/ my last WM6 ROM (based on LVSW's v2.0.1.1)....however i think that it should work on any rom (wm5 too...)

You need to go to the wiki and find the cab which will unhide the extROM for you. Then in the extROM folder click shortcuts

...i suggest to intall in to your device and then analize!
I have collected the .cab of my preferites program, unpacked, compress the exe using UPX, edited the registry of each program, make the shortcuts from \Extended_ROM to StartMenu, packed all shortcuts and registry to a proper .cab and edited the config.txt to install it!
Finally a I merged all file into an .nb using a tool named "HTC ExtRom Editor" (u can find around the forum), and using NBHGen i have conerted it to .nbh.....ready to flash!

I was just wondering, how did you create the shortcuts into a cab file? I cannot seem to find your shortcuts.cab only shortcuts.cabtxt? I take it your shortcuts / registry settings are in shourtcuts.cabtxt? How did you create this file?
Also I cannot find your HSDPA /enable line in your config ?
Can ~WinCE Cab Manager create the shortcut/regedit cabs?

Here is how:
1. Copy the manila file in question to your desktop (PC) or wherever.
2. Download Manila Editor over in the Diamond Forum (in "Themes, Software..." sub-forum).
3. Open Manila Editor and open up your manila file by clicking "Select Path."
4. Using manila Editor, export the image in the manila file as a PNG, or whatever format you like.
5. Use a program like Photoshop to change the color.
6. Using Manila Editor, replace the image in the manila file with the one you altered with Photoshop.
7. Backup your original manila file from your windows folder (i.e., copy it to your storage card or somewhere else).
8. Disable TFLO3D (setting-->personal-->today--> Items).
9. Copy your changed file into windows with total commander (or resco explorer).
10. Restart TFLO3D.

Replace it using TatalCommander or Resco Explorer, not the original File Explorer ..

if your phone already has the files mentioned earlier and they open with notepad then it will work
(it will work with Dutty's 2.6 ROM)

It doesn´t work when you open a pic from manila tab...

There you can change every default program. As for opening pictures from Manila, you will have to modify Manila itself.
After installing Resco Photo Manager in device's memory (not in storage card), copy and replace the files inside the folder, in the \windows directory.
After that, when you select HTC Album (even from camera menu), Resco Photo Manager, will open.

If the picture is .png then I have the same problem, too (I think it's Resco's bug), otherwise check your settings in Resco.

its the same with all formats... when i click a pic in manila tab it opens resco but does not load the pic...

here's my small HTCAlbumMapper tool for your problem. Just follow the next steps you get Resco Photo Manager fully integrated in Manila's photo tab:
1. Install SSMaHo 0.0.4.0
2. Extract and copy attached file HTCAlbumMapper.exe at any folder on your device
3. Run SSMaHo's assigner-mode and click on the image in Manila's photo tab.
4. Setup new assignment as follows:
Check these boxes:
x Active
x EXE Name
x New EXE: Path to HTCAlbumMapper.exe
x New DIR: Use default entry
5. Save SSMaHo settings and run patch-mode again

or the automated batch to create your own. This is done after 12aon original batch for G-Alarm FOR MY MANILA 2.5.19211619.0. So it could or could not work for other versions. If not, follow the tutorial (either above and on my site) to make your own.

Here my first work of tab. This one based in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=651007. There are two, one in Spanish mode and other in English mode.
CABS
Here are the cabs.
Instructions:
1.Disable Sense from Today items.
2.Install CAB KVR FACEBOOK HVGA (ENGLISH) OR (SPANISH)(this will create a shortcut to "FixStartManila" in your Start Menu)
3.Tap "FixStartManila" to run it. It will likely seem like nothing happened.
4.Tap "FixStartManila" a second time. This time, you will likely see the wait cursor, which will stay for 10 seconds or so.
5.Re-enable Sense in Today items.
6.Done!
Doesn´t work for me. I deactivated Senes, installed the cab, soft reset and reaktivated Sense. No new Tab in the Options. I am running a german stock rom with CHT and used the english cab.

Run FixStartManila in Start Menu.
Hi codiak, look the post 2.
Here have you too the file for Germany languaje, extract the archive "0431A004_manilal" to folder "Windows" of you HD mini.

Unzip and copy this file to windows folder, this will reduce the font size for the Facebook Tab

Thanks, is ok!!!! I copy the file into the cab.
Thanx. Got it working. But when i try to update my status, it says FacebookUtil is not found or working.

Codiak, this problem was in the Spanish room. You have Germany rom, copy the folder "Facebookutil" in the folder "Program files". I don't know how is in Germani "program files", maybe is "Programmdateien"?
On the Storage Card or on the Internal Memory?

if your you have installed the cab in internal memory then in "program files" of internal memory.
How should i do can show all my facebook friends not only my contact?

which ROMare you useing, with windows start button (as I can see on pictures)

I use Vodafone Spanish rom but if you wants the start button you must change the following register:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Bubble Tiles]
"HardwareStartKeyEnabled"=dword:00000000
"HardwareDoneKeyEnabled"=dword:00000000

In registry. You have to use a registry editor.
