Just as I read so many posts concerning the new manilla wallpaper I decided to make it myself.
I know it aint perfect but it should have exactly the same colors as the new manilla wallpaper. If you got any tips or suggestions please post them .
- V1 version: (you will have to put your backlight to max to have max effect on your screen)

I don't get what you're saying...
This wallpaper doesn't contain any text if that was you're question. I used noise, blur, gradient effect to get it like that.

HaHa... I would rather say it's the screen that creates the noise ... I used quiet much noise . Without it the image would have been vary ordinary (-> grey faded circle that's all).
As my goal was to replicate the new manilla wallpaper, I had to use the noise effects etc to ...
Maybe you have some future ideas for me?

well, actually it makes sense to use noise and then blur. You'll get some texture after that and not just some noise or clean background

Nice work! I've been trying to replicate the new Manilla wallpaper, but i got nothing but the ugly grey circles when I applied it. So adding the noice was the solution. Thanks!

No problem ...
This looks great on the TF3D screens, however, when I select the image to use on my SecondToday screen, I see lots of grey circles tiled across the entire screen.
Any suggestions on how to solve this please?

This is what I did with glosssuite(Spoon/Stericson) and AERO(ultra spikey)...sence I like both themes.
For the one's that like the first soloremix...is now call darkblue cause some ppl was having problem with the soloremix...so I just redid it.
The lightblue is still call newlighter soloremix1

I love this theme...
But, I reverted back to MoonDust.
Please change the setting buttons. The text is black and the background is transparent - so, any time the page/app/background is dark I can't read the setting button text!
Otherwise, I LOVE IT! Fix those setting buttons and I would constantly switch between this theme and MoonDust! My head would spin!

Yea, I have rc33 lite and tried to use it and had to install another theme cuz i couldnt get past the g1 screen... some of the icons stuck after that though though lol
yes it works with RC33 lite, luv the theme... but the transparent is to light on menu.. great job though

I love the darker blue color of the pics at the bottom of your first post in the thread (that was what I had installed on my phone and it matched some backgrounds I had PERFECTLY!)
I noticed the pics at the top have a lighter blue color! Does the your latest update use the lighter color or the darker color? I really liked the darker color. (I know you can't please everyone and you should mainly be concerned about making the theme for yourself). Please let us know. I MIGHT still use it with the lighter color.
But, it would be nice for those of us for which it would make a difference if we knew which color blue was included in the latest update.
BTW! - I REALLY like the oval buttons on the dialer - AWESOME!
The latest update still have the darker blue wallpaper. The lighter one is just some wallpapers I have on the phone. All to gether
I have 3 driff blue wallpaper...I will try to get them up in min.
I use better cut for some of the icons.
O...I now using a wallpaper that give you the floating icons look...neon-mushrooms and neon-chess.
Sorry, I wasn't clear when I made the above post.
It appears from the pictures on the first post that there are two different versions with different shades of blue in the notification bar. See the two attached pics.
Does the latest version have the light blue notification bar (on the left) or the dark blue one (on the right)?

very nice! how have you done that?
just replaced taskbar and bottom tabs. use crystal envelope on 'mail' tab also and a few other bits here and there which you cant see.
background goes through all the tabs as well, though annoyingly its slightly softer on the home tab. dont htink a fix has been found for this yet though!
So how's the iconset called ?

its really not very difficult if you search these forums.
the task bar for example, you'll need to install sdkcert cab (which i believe allows adjustments to rom files), then install the taskbar cab. thats all explained in the threads. the slider icons i used were again in a cab file.
generally anything thats compatable will tend to be explained well in the threads and installed in the same way as other 6.1 devices. be wary that this is a new phone though, so 100% compatable themes and the like arent going to be quite so plentyful as other phones!

thats why i have asked for a walk through from people who have done it on the TP2,
tried to alter the weather app the other night after doing a search couldnt get it to work then hamz22 did a walkthrough of what he did on a tp2 which was different to what i had been trying and it was spot on
i have sdk certs on so i will look for the task bar cab

Ghostbusters theme and wallpaper.
Feel free to browse my site while your getting the theme, it's all I ask for in return (even if you'll all probably hate it!).
What I have added:
Red ghostbusters battery - this goes from red (full) to very light red (empty) no bormal green to red as I felt the ghostbusters logo lost its charm green
Slimer for BT - Green is on, blue is active
A ghost trap for wifi. Beam moves up and down based on signal.
Proton pack for the launcher, with ghostbusters symbol
Ghostbusters logo for screen lock. Red is correct, and purple is incorrect.
I will update as and when I get time. Hope u all enjoy.
Black text is unreadable. Other than that great job!

You could probably just grab one of the theme that has the white clock and use that.
here are all the files you will need for the white text.
drop classes.dex in services.jar and the other 3 in framework-res.apk/res/layout

What's the general thought on the green to red ghostbusters battery?
Do you think it should go red to another colour like purple?

It's weather widget. In the options choose download skin, the skin is called glass clock.

as for the battery u have now in the notification bar i think either the logo should disappear as the % goes down cause right now i'm at 80% and i couldn't tell until i went to Settings<About Phone<Status
I was thinking may you can try to have something like the plsma or whatever was shot out of the proton pack and as the % goes down the line will go down..

The ghost does disappear!
It gets pailer until it's nearly all white.
I don't Know if it's me but i like to see a drastic change especially for the battery.....
but i do like the theme.

I made a conceptual theme for our Blackstone, because i don't know anything about how skin, I'm asking for help.
1.) I's such a skin possible?
2.) Do you like it?
3.) Wanna help me create this Theme
This is only a sketchy concept there is still a lot of work to do.
Design all icons, choose the right scale for the elements, make clean shining graphics and optimize the colors for the device and so on...

as far as I see this, it doesn't burst possibilities of skinning manila - you will just have to replace several images, but that is something you will have to ask people who know how to do this ;-)

ok, the way you had the black&white it would even be possible, as far as I know just font that is white at the moment on this pictures stays white.
about the backgrounds: if you just want to change background on home tab, and leave the same on the other ones: no problem, that's possible with apps like hdwall, but if you want to have similar, but not the same backgrounds vor every tab you will need to go to the XPeria section, where user rotastrain works on a "different background on each tab" addition.
you can pm me also in german as I am german, don't think people would appreciate another spoken language in threads than english...

You schould use "Wisbar Advance" for this.

not at all you dont need Wisbar Advance... as I said just use HDwalls, it is certainly much more easier... and free! you can easily:
- customize bottom bar icons of TF3D (no need to be an expert, you have a very simple program for that)
- customize the top and bottom bars png of wm as long as you have a wm6.5 ROM and that you tick the option on HDwalls...
so now I'm just waiting for the theme
PS: to customize font colors and clock of TF3D you can certainly use Max TF3D Theme maker... very easy also to use

Nice! How did you change the background color? I've looked through Advanced Config, but I haven't found anything in there to change that, only the accent color (which I have changed, to a "Christmas" red color that isn't so blinding on the SAMOLED display on the Focus).

PageBackgroundColor (string)
Set to your desire color, then reboot

when i used gray as the background and black as the theme it raped my battery. How is our battery life doing with gray in the background.
What type of phone? I'm using a hd7.
My battery life is always great, no matter which theme. 10-12 hours on a single charge easily. If I barely use it, days on a single charge.
I have a samsung focus rev 1.3 running mango. Any ideas? i changed the theme back to normal but even now it is now quite as good as it used to be.

The lockscreens are looking great ! I'm surprised to see icons sneaking in on the tiles, when so many users say they hate them and tiles are superior in the wp threads. Hmm, trending move to usability again ?

its your screen, dark colors work best on that screen.
