BA can not, do not, will not, does not...read SDHC cards my friend. No matter in what you'll try you will just end up disappointed. Just try a regular SD Card 4gb by transcend.
BTW: reason..hardware support!

ya today i went to the market and tried all the cards
well finally i ended with 2gb micro SD card....so i buy 2 of em.
well i don't know why 4gb micro SD or simple SD don't work.
but im happy. something is better than nothing.

Format your card with FAT32 on your computer. Mine is working fine for the last 3 weeks.

8gb should be okay.
my friend uses 16gb on elf and its working fine.
There are many counterfeit cards available from the market. Are you sure you bought it from a legitimate source? Many cards on ebay are fake. Same story with pen drives. Most >16GB pen drives are actually 2/4GB.

I want to know if there is any way to modify my phone/pda to read a Transcend 8GB Class 6 SDHC card as it currently won't, i have tried formatting etc but it still doesn't work.
It will read my 512mb sandisk ultra 2 SD Card however.
Any knowledge would be much appreciated as i'm at my wits end and don't paticularly feel like downlgrading my SD Card just cause my phone is bollocks.

I have this microSDHC, and a serious problem, happens to the third time that when i restart my device, is result damaged and I do not see it from computer and from the device, the only way to use it is formatting can any body help me please?

happened to me exactly as you described.... I didn't know what to do... think i formatted the thing 2 times, but i couldn't get it to work.
so a lay off of it and used my 2GB Nokia microSD for a while... then i decided to check that sucker again, and surprisingly i saw that it worked... i think it got some bad sector (!!!!!) or lost a little amount of storage... but it is working perfectly now.

My Sandisk 16 gb card stoped working too one day. I couldn't read it anymore neither on my HTC TP2 nor my desktops. It was replaced by the shop according to my waranty. The new one works fIne.
I had the same issue, then it couldn't be read or even formatted on any computer at home or work, I even had my Hospital's IT department check it out. But then I found this software and it found and reformatted my 16gb so that it was not trashed, and i haven't had a problem with the card in over a year. I hope this helps.

try going to the site again and go through and make sure you downloaded the right one, I think there are different formatters for different cards. It should work though.

Thank again my friend,i,v send a mail to sandisk site and they gived me this link for HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool - v2.1.8 and it seems work nice now,i can be sure if me sd card is ok only after some week

Okay, I've not really payed much attention to my Play at all, I've probably picked it up once this week to realize the sd card was not being read, after formatting it and trying over 3 sd cards I come to believe something is up with the phone itself, My S3 also cannot read the sd card, any suggestions, I think its an issue with the phone itself, I've flashed back to gingerbread and still nothing.

Format it with a computer.
This worked for me...
Sorry for my bad English. It's not my native language.
If the microSD is not being read, put it in a BlackBerry. The Blackberry should ask you to format the card so it will be usable. For some reason, this worked for me and now my microSD is working fine. I already added a new UHS-1 card by Sandisk to my cart before I tried to fix it. It saved me some money .

I use 2 Gb micro sd n get work, before i do that, my 32 Gb n 16 Gb can't read on my phone n its broken...
After I use the 2 Gb micro SD, i buy the new one 32 Gb, n hola, it's working again...

Take it out and format them to FAT32 and try again because some card came as exFat. Good Luck
I don't know if you should blame the phone or the card. I had a 32GB Sandisk and had nothing but problems with it. I changed to a smaller Kingston card a few months back and not had a problem since.

u should blame the card, its official that 32/64gb sandisk cards dont like new samsung phones. anyway send it to sandisk and you will receive "updated" version of that card which dont bug with sammy phones.
