Htc Diamond Opera Browser Works Really Fine On Artemis

For me it runs quite slow

Not for Artemis
This one worked NOT fine on MY Orbit.
Installed it, used for 1 day, removed it. Better stick with Opera Mini 4.1 which I really love.
It runs really SLOW. Not only while browsing, but entering menu, modifying settings... Web rendering far more slow than Opera mini.
Beside, its original design is for VGA monitor (and 528MHz, 192MB RAM) HTC Diamond. The QVGA version was not complettely converted: still too big favorite, settings menu items...
However, nice browser. Maybe next device, not this Artemis.

i'm using Tom Rom black and blue 4.3 ;
maybe this rom supports better the new opera mobile, its working on this ....

Is there any ROM with Footprints working?

I have checked the ROM forum and as far as I have seen there is not any ROM where the Footprints could work in the New Manila 2.5 . INMHO I do not see any reason to install the New Manilla, w/o this option available.
Before to have a HTC HD I could test the Footprint in my old HTC POLARIS and it was really amazing. But it seems to me that already no one could transfer this TAB to the MANILA 2.5. Am I right?

There are several reasons why you would want to use the new manila even though footprints is not working yet. It looks much better and has gotten rid of most of the ugly windoes mobile look..

Would anyone be kind enough to tell me is der any rom that has..
diamond original dialer (support video call)
tflo3d 2.0/2.1 (calendar n new weather)
other feature's like genY rom
im using genY rom now n it was a great rom..
but stil i need to do video call..
so would someone recommend me on this matter..

dat's y i resorted to original diamond dialer..any alternative for this would be great..

I am still with wm6.1 due to the same problem. You can cook your own ROM with TF3D2 using a kitchen. C_sharker's room would be a good base rom. But TF3D2 hav some issues with HTC phone canvas which is un avoidable.

The problem is not WM6.1 or WM6.5, it's related to TF3D2 and Tachi Dialer : Tachi Dialer allow you to call your contacts from contactCard, but doesn't handle Video Calls. If you want to make VideoCall, just don't install Tachi Dialer, but you won't be able to dial from Manila TF3D2... 6.1 or 6.5 is not the problem, that could work on both if we manage to get a fully working Tachi Dialer (I'm working on a new port that should include Tachi Dialer, but I'm not sure I will be able to finish it (even if it's on a good way right now, but a lot of work still left), and if I can, it will be in 2 weeks at least )

Yes, but it is not updated for a while. Is there a ROM with Video Callin + WM6.5/6.5.1 + tF3D1?

manila 2.1 with program short cut on home ?

Does any one know how to add program short cuts ( like in manila 2.5) to home page of manila 2.1
I have seen this somewhere but forgot .

so we see us back here. Yes manila 2.1 have not so much things, but after i have made some test (manila 2.5 - leo) on the phone from wife ;-), i am back to 2.1. It is faster then 2.5.
By the way...your BootPackage works great

if hvga badly off applications?

i am hesitation at this time, tonight i will go to buy a mobile phone,diamond and hd mini are my favourite, and i think hd mini is better,but many people say that only have a few app. of hvga,is it ture?and some people say many app. can run at all ............

In my opinion, it's better to buy mini..
Below some of basic advantages,
1) Better Screen Resolution
2) Better CPU
3) Better Camera (unfortunatelly without flash as Diamond)
4) Better GPS
Some of basic disadvantages,
1) Not run all of application which have been published until today. However that happens because of is briliant new HVGA resolution. You must be patient until programmer convert all of our applications
2) Fonts aren't so clear. But there is a tip (try to search for "ClearType") which face this issue at all !! That will be the first that you must do when you buy the phone
3) Does't not have stylus, since its capacity screen

Thanx for advicec about HD Mini but i just did't understend you about Clear Type font...i can't finde that option anywhere

Cleartype is not a font, it is Microsoft's font smoothing technology which has been present in every windows mobile device till the HD Mini!
It transforms the awful text display on the Mini to properly readable text (though not in landscape mode) but you need a registry editor to obtain it.
Google HD Mini Cleartype to find how to do it, or post back here. I don't have mine with me at present so can't check

Are you speaking about Diamond 1 vs HD mini.
Diamond was my old phone and mini my new one.
Diamond does not have any flash either!
Mini has clearer screen and it is a lot more responsive than Diamond.
But mini do not have front camera. For other thing mini is better.
Regarding apps, effectively not all apps run on mini, but only VGA are running on Diamond. A lot of QVGA and WQVGA apps are running on mini just well. For me, I ported all the needed apps running on Diamond on my new mini but SlideIT.
