Welcome to my ROM thread!
This ROM is the "3.0 series" of my ROM line, and it's designed to have the latest and greatest applications and improvements. Because of this it may not always be as stable or bugfree, as a stock ROM. However, I can assure you, it's much... MUCH faster than any stock ROM on your device.
The ROM is being continuously developed and bug fixed and there's almost daily releases. I've decided to name each release by the date when it was released. For example, 50109 would have been released on May 1st, 2009. I should also mention it's UC compatible and more info about that can be found here.
The ROM is currently based on the 21232 OS core, with all the new goodies from the newly announced Topaz device (the Diamond2).

Known bugs
The lock screen interferes with the HTC Dialer application. It's best not to use it for now. If you have to, you will have to deal with weird behaviour from the dialer!
If you want to use the microsoft dialer instead, open up Advanced Config under Tweaks (in the Start Menu) and disable the phone skin (first item in the Phone section). Reboot...
The names appear to overlap in the dialer when scrolling down in it. This is a known bug in all 6.5 ROMs and there's nothing we can do about it until HTC updates their dialer ​

Great fast rom, i can choose only one keyboard, full qwerty keyboard doesn't work.

Hi, I've just installed this ROM. Really beautiful! Extremely quick but not much memory left, my device has only around 20 odd meg program memory. Still it is very quick like I said and all the programs installed seem to work OK. I cant seem to launch the phone pad or the qwerty though? I disabled the phone skin in advance config but still no joy. Is there any way to do this? The menus look the business! Thank you for the ROM, I would like to use it but I really need the keyboards to be working. I will leave it installed for tonight so if anyone wants to know anything about this ROM please ask while I got it on and I will be able to answer.

i tried almost all 6.5 roms and this is the fastest and best looking.
and youre 1st rom for diamond is even beter as most 6.5 roms that are updated lots.
i dont have much experience in rom cooking etc.
but isnt it a good idea to remove apps that doesnt work on diamond 1.
like flashlight?
and 1 more question.
is it possible to let photos store on internal storage/pictures instead of is/my doc/??
tried advanced conf but doesnt work??

It seems that it's impossible to use another keyboard than the Microsoft's one even with sipchange (Tried eZinput 2.0 and FingerKeyboard2)

I have to work a little more to get the memory usage down more. I dont think I need a Diamond specific dialer, but I will cook that into the next release to see if it fixes it. It will have video call as well. No qwerty keyboard ? Strange.. I will look into that.

Let me know what other apps dont work on the Diamond. I didnt know the flashlight doesnt work on the Diamond. Need more feedback from you guys with things not work, as I do not have a Diamond to test on

Have you loose your glasses?
In all screenshots the start button is white like in all rom 6.5
And look the last screen, the build is: 23009 with WM6.5 ^^

Also It is really a wwe version because normally P'Dhee give link for Thai and link for WWE version.

I just flashed my phone with this ROM!!
Its outstanding.!! Super fast.... Lot of free memory... never seen such bug free WM6.5... WELL DONE Dhewatara and others who made this available!!
Must upgrade rom fo all Artemis users!!

Been using this ROM for the last 5hrs. Its a great ROM & works very well with my IGO 8 satnav without problems.

does anyone know of any 6.5 ROM which has inbuilt application which works like BTMusic or ofcourse works better that this application? I basically need a good solution for Listening to music wirelessly from my Artemis P3300.

is this Rom with completely regional settings?

M2D Mega Beta1
This ROM is fine in all its aspects except:
- In call history fingure and stylus does not work.
- RAM remain on 9-13 mb which is too much less it must be 20mb+
- Battery status is not showing in top bar.
- People tab there are only 12 favourite contacts that should be 16+.
- Rest is checking.
Thanks to greate Cooker. He must be concentrate on free RAM required.

Other issues with this ROM
1) Contact summary does not display anything ie the different numbers held for that contact
2) No battery status in the bar
Other than that........great so far.

Great rom. working fine and its fast...
some issues like contact infomation is not showing.
in bluethooth explorer after receiving the file once again it will show the same device (multiple times)
battery status in task bar...
compare to other builds the IE is fast.

Been using this ROM since 8hrs and I must say a job well done...it is the best ROM for WM6.5 i've came across so far, just brilliant. Although i would like to highlight a few issues with dis ROM:
1. Average free RAM is around 8-10MB which isnt good (as mentioned by graza1)
2. No battery status icon on the task bar
3. While in the settings tab (or any other tabs) if an icon is highlighted with the trackball or stylus the icon shows a backgronud color or a mixture of images.
4. In the people's tab, the tabs have a dark tan color which dulls the fonts when the tab is used for a contact.
5. The 'Map Search' tab dosn't really works, I mean i typed e.g 'pizza' but no results are displayed!! (or am i doing something wrong, need clarification on this!).
Apart form these few issues the ROM is awesome...a must for all Artemis users!!...Nice work Dheewatara!

i always use HButton and I always put my camera and my album in the same button and it works great for me

same problem on all 6.5 roms, just go into settings, personal, buttons and change the camer button to something else, then back to camera. click OK and it will work
sometimes it will lose it again, but just repeat the same procedure
is there ANY 6.5-ness left in this rom?
is titanium installed? is it disabled or removed entirely?
is the new lock screen in place?
can you get the transparent start-menus back?
or is it basically a 6.1-looking rom with slightly different version number screen
isnt this a bit like installing windows 7, and then installing a windows98 theme on top? like "i've got a ferrari but i've put a ford mondeo body kit on it"

Yes - full 6.5 features (honeycomb start menu, lock etc)

I.ve had it installed for the last 18hrs and have no real issues with it

Rom feedback.
I have installed this rom and my simple words would be its the fastest rom i have ever seen or heard about. I always liked this looks then the titatnium weather .
Internet explorer is very fast as earlier compared to the last rom, but again thai language problem in internet explorer exist .
Battery view is available , but you need to go to advanced config in tools and enable the same in today screen instead of clock.
I would rate at this point of time for this rom 10/10 , installed and used for 4 hours.

OK guys... if you like to live on the edge, here's something for you to try: completely experimental ROMs.
One word of warning: this is not tested and no support from me on this! If you're going to post about a bug - then include a fix for it, if you don't have one - DON'T write at all!

yep, I saw it. It's a bug of this build, unfortunately. Use some external app for SMSes, it will work.

Second one is based on 23017 - and is loaded with Manila 2.0 taken from HTC Mega, just few edits from me to this, giving you more RAM and speed

CommManager can not open Bluetooth

Just got a Hermes, tried some WM 6.5 rom's and settled for this 23017 + Manila 2.0. It is quite usable and the UI is very nice. It seem to keep a good 14 to 16 Mb free RAM even after some days of use (21-22 at startup), enough for my needs.
Some small bugs which I found:
- in the Messages tab -> right softkey (Menu) -> "New message" does not work. You can create messages though by entering "All mesages" and then selecting new message.
- CommManager can not open Bluetooth "Can't turn on bluetooth". If somebody knows a reg fix for this please let me know.
- CommManager fix for the Wifi works only from time to time (quite strange actually)

utak3r, if any service provider would be at least half as fast as you in responding we would be in a much better world
Regarding the Wifi topic: I made the fix, soft reset and it is not working (Wifi gray in the CommManager). If I turn Wifi on via Quickmenu it will appear also "On" in the CommManager but still gray. I attached also two pictures.
On the other hand yesterday it started working Ok after some time but I do not know why / how...

Related to the Wifi issue ("even after fix Wifi button is sometimes disabled in the CommManager"): it seems this happens when the phone is connected to the computer and activesync is running. As soon as I disconnect it, the Wifi button works again. I don't know if this is a Manilla feature or a bug (meaning undocumented feature )
Otherwise very stable release, even after some days of use (phone / mobipocket / opera mini / Skyfire) there is still some 15 Mb free RAM.

I haven't had a lot of time to use this ROM yet but it seems pretty good so far and it has the new contact manager. I also like that the txt msg shows the date and time of a received txt now.
The screenshot is Black Bliss so if you want yours to look like that then download it. If not it will just be plain Titanium.
NOTE: There is no task manager with 23071 because theres a bug with showcase where it will lock up sometimes when closing tmail.exe so I didn't include it. Its something with the newer 6.5 builds and theres no fix yet

No I'm not but thats ok. Theres a newer 23060 thats out but I decided not to use that one for now.
I'm curious though if anyone is using this ROM have you noticed any problems with the battery drain? My battery is crap so I can't judge by mine anymore..

I have to say, seems to be tarring through the battery but I just realized I forgot to hard reset.... Doo. So, I will let you know. After a real test.

Nobody else is reporting problems with battery consumption in 23420 so I would be surprised.

Yes I applied all the fixes..As far as I can tell everything works fine..

I like this rom but how can I restore the original menu?

what menu? if you're referring the new ui thats much bigger and the x and start button being at the bottom you cant..thats the direction ms is going to now to make it more finger friendly.
i know its a bit to get use to but at some point here real soon all 6.5 roms will be the same. i decided to bite the bullet and start using it so i would get use to it..after a couple days im started to like it a little more but my hand still goes to the top all the tim still.
is thats not what you meant then please explain more.

Even when I drop titanium its still around 21mb. Without honeycomb or the new unlock screen maybe.

Problems so far :
- on some boots it just stays on splashscreen and hangs, softreset does the trick.
- after installig Automapa (something like tomtom) and widcomm bluetooth stack and rebooting it a few times it stopped working, only shows AT&T logo, then gray screen and stays that way.
Those 2 programs were the only ones installed, nothing more.
And I know they arent the problem 'coz I used them for about a year now.

I am having problems with my data connection? It won't connect at all. Any suggestions? I am with Bell. Have the latest Radio. I also installed the CDMA weather fix as well.

Uninstall the weather fix,then install dcd_bell.cab http://dcd1182.n715dp.com/index.php?dir=Titan%2Fcarriers%2F
Run IE to make sure your data works now,then disable "windows default" and enable "touch flo",scroll to manila weather tab,set the city,run weather update,and after that you can install cdma_weather_fix

Any idea how to install Windows Mobile Marketplace? I tried the "original" CAB found here, it installs but then hmmm it is nowhere to be found?

can i get rid of the carrier bar all together? and move the clock up?

seems like there is no way to move them up,its 25 pixels of wasted space....

Edit, I think i replied to the wrong ROM thread, my bad.

hey VIN, just reflashed cause I screwed up my FAVE People in Titanium somehow. Decided to flash the manila/titanium new rom you just created. Flashed twice and hard reset once. Great job on incorporating RSS, Advanced Tools and the Snooze fix. Love it love it. You have a talent in the Kitchen! WM651 is awesome. New features are GROOVY. I am 42- I'm not too old to be fascinated with flashing am I? It is like a disease, a good ailment though!!

While I love this ROM, I have had multiple lock-ups where I had to soft reset the phone. I did install the Mega GSM dialer, I'll try to remove that and see if that helps?
Anyone else installed a different dialer?

I have installed the dialer from PDG (PAUL DEGROOT)with no issues noticed.
