IMHO you can only say that if you tested all the roms...
and nobody has... because why would a russian user install a nld or ita rom..
plus everybody has its own style of cooking
thats why there are light and full roms..
the only thing you can do is discuss roms...

OK, i agree, sorry guys... mods can erase... But i think that most of us who are flashing is possible to flash any rom except our language... i am Greek but i flash always english version... BUT i didn't thought that i would never put a russian or italian job, so you're right. Except if we consider that some people make the same rom in different languages but with the same tweaks? This happens also...
I was only searching a way to help people to find the best ROM and also make the chefs more proud..

I have tried a lot of cooked rom. The problem is Chinese font is not a latin character, so there is still a little problem with English OS and Chinese handler third party program.
I'm almost positive your not the first one that wants chiness fonts as a matter of fact there is a few apps that do just that make chiness font on your phone! Did you try searchong first before you posted a random and not on topic post? I find it hard to believe you did

Sorry , I think I was not clearly tell the problem. I mean the apps that make chinese font to show on the phone, those apps I have tried before and still have the problem, eg when using "note" input double character.
So I just want to know how to create a Rom using the Chinese os .

Hi, does anyone has the E1 ROM?
I can comfirm that it is officially released, at least in Singapore. But the upgrade can only be performed at Samsung Service Center.
I was hoping someone has dumped the ROM and I can use mirage to update at the comfort of my home.
The main thing that was updated is the messenger wifi connection issue.

i want to ask about flash ROM for i780.i plan to buy it in China.as i know Windows OS in China has its language on i780 itself,means that i780 in China using Chinese Windows Mobile.now my question is I am in Indonesia and impossible i can operate it in Chinese Windows Mobile.so maybe you know how can make it in English?Flash its ROM or maybe have another way?

Erm, why can't you just flash it in the C4 or D1 English ROMs and make it work?

wel.. downloaded the file; only installed the supposedly HE1 phone part..version info shows :i780PUHE1 version.. (got a i780XKHA3 PDA version in Dutch)
so.. well, dont really know if its hard the change the showd version part..suggestions for me to test/checkout ?

is this possible flash pda and phone in different version? Stable? I am using DXHC4.
I flashed my i780 with a different pda version the phone version. This is no problem..
HE1 works stable, havent got a lot of time to test it... but I can always flash back.

Right first of all, your in the wrong part of the forum!!!!...this is for ROM Development only...use the proper Diamond forum next time!!!.
As for your question, why dont investigate??...its such an easy solution that im surprised you cant figure it out for yourself. Either that or read the bloody manual!!!...thats why they give you one...its on one of the cds and comes in a pdf.
Right if you really need help then ill help you....go to start then go to settings...in settings click on system...then scroll down till you find regional settings and in there you can change the language to english...if you have that option. If you dont then you will have to flash to a rom that gives you english option.
Seriously next time post in the right forum and try to figure out things for yourself...your not going to break the phone unless you start deleting things that you shouldnt. IF the phone stops working then do a hard reset and it will take you back to the way the phone was when you first got it. You cant expect us to hold your hand everytime you have a question that can and could be easily answered if you only took the time to discover the phone yourself ie what certain settings do etc. Also try searching the forum...it doesnt take a genius to do that.

You could try the TLR rom, the latest one...that comes with english language. Plus its the fastest rom out at the moment as well..for me it is and it has all the tweaks done to it so you dont need to tweak the phone to make it perform better.

What the F* it's the best rom.... I mean clean (with no 3'th party software), tunned (the best reg tweak) and the fastest (without unnecessary stufs from windows), and the most free memory you can get from it.
Mabe in 2 min, I will be banned from this site but WTF... I try thousand of ROM's and found nothing... anybody make his own ROM but not good for anywone, and please do not reply me to make my own beeing the best... This will not help anyone and what is't the mean of the forum???

I have one advice for you....
Go buy yourself a phone Without windows mobile
Don't hang around here and ask us WHICH one is the best.....There are so many ROMS around here, because everybody prefers something else.....Just COOK your own ROM then........( I still wanna say)
But a phone WITHOUT windows mobile would be better for you......if you don't like any of the ROMS here....
It's not my intention to be rude or so, but this is not working like this.....In my opinion, Cooking a ROM yourself would be the best solution if you've already tried so many ROMS...

one word..........SHOCKING!
I have installed the latest official rom 1.96 I think that was the last one , and the phone stop responding in max 2 hours.
I'm not intend to offense anyone here and I really apreciate their work..

Da9L, I dont want anywone to work for me but just to have a clean ROM, tweaked and with no software installed at all, will help a lot of us (this is what they do here), and I am not sorry for my attitude, after months of trying ROM's, some of them without "change log" file, and like I read in a post, after couple of weeks got EXPIRED... what is that??? - I should be sorry for my attitude???
I dont know how do you consider this unbelievable but right now I don't even know what ROM to try more....
Anyway... beeing the one who make the post can someone tell me if it's possible to delete'it, to not charge the forum with unnecessary posts?

before i ban you, i'd like to know why you felt the need to blast your message across in the manner you did. all of the above could have been said without the rudeness. keeping in mind this is a family board, there are young minds lurking around here. Meander through the forum, there are many clean, light, ultralight ROMs out there that you could easily use.
Also, I recommend looking into cooking your own... it's time consuming...frustrating...addicting....and very rewarding... you can also then have exactly what you want cooked in so come hard reset time... the only thing you need to worry about is the data
