hi all, I don't know why but now when I am listening to the radio, the sides button (volume one)both change the volme and the radio station.
Did you install the beta contact manager? i heard it was making bug the button volume

hello to everybody, i'm new here
i just wanted to unlock my universal. i read the instructions in the readme of the downloaded file from here (Source) carefully and wanted to enter the bootloader.
but after i press the power, light and reset button simultaneously like here: Image ...it just restarts (like i only press the reset key).... --> no bootloader apers
anybody knows the reason why it doesn't start the bootloader? thank u for helping
hi, welcome to forum. sometimes can be tricky. but if you hold the buttons then press reset and continue holding for a couple more seconds then it should load the bootloader. hope this helps

i'm holding power and light button simultaneously and then i push the reset button. it seems to be not working.. like it ignors that i'm pressing the other buttons...?
hi, tried with mine. if i hold the light and power and when i press reset and hold it also it enters bootloader. if this doesnt work sorry maybe a more experienced user can enlighten us.
solved the prob
power is working. reset is working. if you press the light and backlight settings come up then thats working depending on your rom. not sure what your issue is if they all work.

hi my friend got the desire but dropped it and when tried turning it on it gose into recovery mode and stays there how do i get it working again ?

More details about your hardware/software please.
Can your access hboot (start it with pressed volume down and power button) or fastboot (start it with pressed back and power button).
yes but no volume buttons work or the power button and it boots into the menu from start up
Without more details about hardware/software nobody will be about able to help you.

Pretty much said it all in the headline. Updated to this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1328340 and since then, my power button won't work inside of CWR. I'm screwed cause I don't like this ROM, yet I can't change my rom no matter what...
yup one of the newer cwm started changing it to use the hardware buttons (home i believe) on the bottom but you can push the volume up button a few times to re enable the power button.

Yap, you have to use the home button with the latest version of cwm. The power button functions as a back button now. -Grand
i was unable to go recovery mode after installing the custom rom Honami_XAS_V3X .. i keep pressing the volume + after turn on the phone. i was looking around the forum regarding the problem.. tried alot of way.. power buton & keep pressing volume + button .. even keep pressing tab on scren then "sony" logo also unable.. any one can help me on this?

are your phone unlocked bootloader? looks like u have soft bricks there..

They don't work at all or partially work? My vol - button works one time if I press it like five times. If that's the case, then you can still flash twrp and stuff. Try removing back cover and press vol buttons directly. If they still don't work then sorry mate.
