------------------------------------------------------------
THEME FOR STANDARD TF3D ( DO NOT INSTALL ON DUTTYS ROM )
This is my first post here. Thought I share this wt you all. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank some folks here which has made this possible. Below is a complete dump of my post in modaco link.
PLEASE READ INSTRUCTION HERE BEFORE INSTALLING
Here it is.....the complete TF3D package for your Touch HD. This theme has a fully functional analog, a working mini-flipclock, extended appointments, all 15 tabs and wallpaper can be updated with a press of a button for all background. The bottom bar opacity has been fixed. It is now 100% solid and I have done the same for the top bar as well.
Operator text now works. Read further below.
I apologize for the earlier mistake that during the rush of releasing this, I've overlooked and messed up some files. My intention here is to enable a fully customizable TF3D theme for everybody. So, pls read carefully and follow each instruction to get to the theme that you desire.
FIRST STEP......RESET TO ORIGINAL THEME FIRST
If you do not do this, there's no guarantee that this theme will work properly
Reseting To Original Theme Guide
Thks a million to Blessed HD. Here's the easy way to reset back to your default theme. Install Diamond TF3D Config program. You can find it in XDA. Go to the "Appearance" Tab and do a restore to default. It will automatically delete all the manila and related files.
PLS CHECK THAT YOUR ORIGINAL THEME WORKS FINE BEFORE GOING TO THE NEXT STEP!!
Installation Guide
It is not easy to make everybody happy but the closest I can do is to allow you to choose what to install. I have now broken down the key components that you need to install step by step. Drop whatever you don't want and only select those that you need. Below is a list of files and their description.
To install these files, simply copy the cab to anywhere on your mobile and click on it. Soft reset afterwards. Should you have any difficulty re-installing after multiple times, go to \windows\appmgr and delete the folder "Max Your Application Name".
1. Max Complete TF3D - Main.cab
This is the main file which will give you the analog clock, extended appointments and changeable wallpaper. The number of tabs remain as the original 11 tabs. This will the basic of my theme. You will still need to download the analog clock package which I will make available. In future, I will also create different configuration theme so that when you are bored wt this, you can always change to another look.
Remember to go and download the analog clock package to complete the theme. I have attached one analog clock package for you here. There's a selection of analog clocks on my modaco link.
NEXT, select a wallpaper to fill up the background. Go to your SETTINGS tab and choose a wallpaper ( anyone that you like ). There are already some default wallpapers that comes along with your phone.
That should complete the whole installation!!
Below are some pictures of how the theme configuration looks like. More theme configuration will come later.

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",

}
AGAIN, DO NOT GO TO THE NEXT STEP UNTIL THIS PORTION WORKS FINE FOR YOU!!!
NEW UPDATE : Operator text has been solved.....finally. It now works perfectly and refreshed realtime. All cabs have been updated with this fix since 15Feb except for the main cab. Since some of you preferred to have your own text up there, I will leave the current main cab available.
----------------------------------------
2. Max Complete TF3D - 15Tabs.cab
THERE HAS BEEN REPORTS THAT THIS MAY NOT BE WORKING PROPERLY IN SOME PHONE CONFIGURATION. IF YOU ARE REALLY DYING FOR THIS, DO AT YOUR OWN RISK. SHOULD IT FAIL, RESTORE YOUR PHONE BACK TO ORIGINAL WITH THE ABOVE RESTORE METHOD.
This cab will extend your tabs to a total of 15. Even without installing the Main cab, you should get the additional 15 tabs minus all the goodies that you get with the main. Additional tabs added are as below.<br />
a. Calendar
b. Sound Setting
c. Call History
d. Comms-Manager
-----------------------------------------
3. Max Complete TF3D - Main Config 2.cab
If you are already bored with the original main theme, here's another one for you to play with. You can install this cab with or without the main.cab. Here's a pic of how it looks like.
------------------------------------------
4. Max Complete TF3D - Main Config 3.cab
Another configuration with optimized space for a slightly larger analog clock. Clock position now swapped. Date placed on titlebar. All analog clocks on goodies section should work. You can install this cab with or without main.cab
------------------------------------------
5. Max Complete TF3D - Ultimate Theme
This theme is an enhancement of the main.cab theme. It has the same positioning as the main.cab but with an additional feature and one easter egg.
1. You can now edit your own text on the top left corner. Default "My Touch HD". To change the text, pls refer to my tutorial in my modaco link.
2. Operator text works perfectly on your top right corner.
3. Analog clock will trigger your alarm settings.
Easter egg - Your analog clock can move by press+hold on it. However, I could not make it to stick after releasing. If anyone manage to find a way, pls let me know
. Only way to get it back on position is to relaunch your TF3D or soft reset.
The "Ultimate Theme - Basic" cab only changes the settings for those who wants to setup their own theme entirely. You will need to add your own analog clocks, etc.
However, to further enhance the theme, I have released another cab which I named "Ultimate Blue Theme.cab". Unfortunately, I do not know why I could not upload the cab here. So, you will have to download from my modaco link.
In this cab, I've changed the bars and bubbles to blue and add a new transparent clock with blue tip and white on transparent flipclock. I did not touch the taskbar and tabs icons as this is very much a personal taste and it will be very difficult to please everyone. So, I would rather let you customize yourself.
In addition, I have selected some of my favourite wallpapers which will be installed on your \storage card\max wallpaper folder. By using the "Diamond Background Changer Installer", you can now automatically cycle your wallpapers over a periodic time through all your tabs. The installation process is as below.
1. Download and install "Diamond Background Changer Installer". ( could be anywhere on your phone )
2. Startup the Diamond program. Change the folder destination to : \storage card\max wallpapers\
3. You can also set periodic time here. Press "Schedule" to activate it once. Then exit.
4. Now install the "Ultimate Blue Theme.cab" on your device. (Cab can be uninstalled ). Soft reset.
5. After re-boot, your theme should look like below screen and your wallpaper will cycle through based on the periodic time that you set.
------------------------------------------
PROBLEM REPORTING
Should you come across any problems ( I suggest you chk thoroughly by following my instruction above first ) before you post them. If you did, pls consider sending a screen or more information or else it is very difficult for me to fix the problem if I don't see it myself.
GOODIES
I am slowly putting up goodies like analog clocks, flipclocks and others packages for you to dress up the theme. You can download frm the modaco link above.

could you please upload cabs here also ?

Thanks, the analog clock looks really nice!!
Could you explain to me how I can change back to my provider name in the right top corner (now it says: my Touch HD).
Thx!

Furthermore, how to remove the theme??
It doesn't show up in "remove programs" :S

Hi.
I installed it and it looks very nice but i have one Problem. After Softreset i cannot change something in CommManager Tab. I cannot turn on WiFi etc. After Pressing Menu and then go to Wifi Menu and turn it on Wifi turns on and then i am able to change everything in Comm Manager Tab. Perhaps you can explain it.
MfG Uro

Would it be possible to apply just the clocks? I don't really want the rest of the theme but the clocks look nice.

thanks
thanks great work, specialy the orginal htc theme

WOW... thnx Maxycy!!! You sure did something amazing for us
Your analog and flip clock works great on my HD (CHT HK ROM)
It works great with my still under-construction "Metal Glass" theme and taskbar (which on-hold for 3-months, that's another story )
Keep up you great work mate

Most of the issues mentioned so far has been addressed.....I hope
As for the future, there's plan to only release clocks and other things minus all the other files. That's the whole reason for this as you can now more or less customize your own theme to your own liking.
Ok...I call it a day for now.

yeah, i love the clock most too~~is there any way i can just install the cloak?

Can anyone confirm that this is a problem?

Nice work.
Can we have a transparent slider on the black theme?
The theme works well with black wallpaper but if you choose another the effect is not as great.
Many thanks

Hi Urokinase.
Installed with no problems, the Comm-Manager screen works ok I like the slow sliding animation when a feature is activated.

Hi, I try this and now my TF3D don't start ( any solution?

My screen keeps being white.. even after i changed the wallpaper to black or abstract.. it stays white / grey?

working perfect for me, no white background or other stuff ppl have reported except the wifi thing which i havent tested yet, it shows in the new 15 tab, other than that its abit slow i kno its called the touch flo 3d but this may sound strange is it using any 3d acceleration cos i'm using the ati driver posted somwhere in the forum.
EDIT; the wifi does not work in the comm tab, also there is no data connection there, other than that its ok, and looks slick, good job.

what does 15 tabs mean? What other menu items are added?

Hi - build wm6 themes is v similar to wm5 themes albeit a few differences. I am plannig to write a minitutorial but not sure when this will done because i am cooking a rom at the moment.
For the app use my friend BenThon's app - ThemeGen CE http://www.codeppc.com/telechargements/themegence/themegence.htm
it now runs under vista
Follow my guide for wm5 themes here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=275907
To keep the 3d bars - use basehue to define the colors or Navigation bar color 1 (do the same thing)
1st change for wm6
Do not use these keys in the key section Color_SoftkeyFlatCentre and Color_TitleFlatCenter as they will give you flat bars.
2nd change for wm6
You can use standard format theme or start image theme still in wm6 but most of the wm6 have orientation P & L themes. (portrait and landscape)
Thats all for now.
Tips from BenThon - author of ThemeGenCE
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you cannot figure out all options of ThemeGenCE and nevertheless want to adapt - easily - a theme from this thread (borealcool themes,
black in Black with screen 320x240, same scheme colors) to your wishes, follow these steps :
1) Download one the themes above (in this thread).
2) Launch it in ThemeGenCE. Do not close the program !
3) In the bottom left panel, define the 3 items :
a) Define Folder for saving the new theme.
b) Define File Name for the new theme.
c) Define Internal Name for the new theme.
4) Build your 2 images (with the software you want, Paint, Photoshop... In bmp, gif, jpg or png. Windows Mobile and also Desktop Windows do not care about the extension of the image. It recognize the real format, independently of the extension. That is the reason why, for simplification, in ThemeGenCE I always put ".gif" extension.).
a) one for Portrait Mode. (240x294 pixels)
b) one for Landscape Mode. (320x214 pixels)
5) Copy the 2 images in the same folder as the program ThemeGenCE.
6) Delete the 2 existing files in this folder :
stwater_240_320.gif
stwater_320_240.gif
7) Rename your 2 images :
Portrait Mode Image to stwater_240_320.gif
Landscape Mode Image to stwater_320_240.gif
8) Go back in ThemeGenCE program and save the theme by clicking the fourth button of the main toolbar. You do not see update of the
images in ThemeGenCE but your new theme is now created with your own Images ! I have built the ThemeGenCE program to verify "on
idle" if the images have changed, so new images are incorporated in the theme even if the preview is not systematically updated.
9) You can verify that your new theme is really created. Exit from ThemeGenCE and relaunch it with your new Theme.
@meschle
thanx a million , now i will try to make my first theme

Not really - if you change navigation bar color text - it only changes for a second when you apply the theme it then reverts. It was meant for wm2003.
You can change the color of the text of the bottom bar Color_CommandbarText in the wm5\keys section but not the top.
BenThon have you any suggestions? Is there a key we have missed out for the top bar color text?
Friendly, mark
wm2003 themes works too
the upper and button bar is
just like the bars on other versions
as it it's only asigned colour
nothing more

Sorry Mark, "I am a poor lonesome programmer... " and I have not WM6 device!
But I am waiting for your precious advices to adapt ThemeGenCE for WM6, if "theming" without plugins is still actual...
Thanks for your help and your support, Mark.
Friendly, Benoît
Thanks BenThon - i think the key in question is the same as with wm5. I am poor 2 and do not have wm5 device to test.
take care
Dialpad CAB
How do you incorporate a customised Dialpad into the theme?
Not possible i hace tried. Although a tsk file is really a cab file it does not work the way its expected. The only way would be to install it all by cab but then the theme would not show under setting\today. (theme would be installed by the images not tsk) Better to do them separately.
Mark wrote : Not possible i have tried

I think it is possible !!!
If you don't name the file with TSK extension, but with CAB extension.
I think I have seen this in a forum.
And maybe a soft reset after...
Hi BenThon Yes i have installed this way e.g. with my first orientation themes - only problem is when you switch theme the today screen theme is lost because the theme.tsk was not installed only stwater.gif etc..
It will be ok for a one off installation but a problem when you switch themes.
Friendly - your pal.

How can I put the 3D bars in WM5? To tell you the truth, thats the only attraction I have to WM6.
Algorithm for choosing Bars Hue (upper and lower)
Algorithm for choosing Bars Hue (upper and lower) with WM5 and WM6
Here is the method ThemeGenCE uses to attempt to simulate Microsoft algorithm for the choice of the upper and lower Bars Hue with WM5 and WM6.
Color 5 is the navigation bar color (Color 1).
With WM6 Bars are 3D. But if you define Specific keys like these one :
"Color_SoftkeyFlatCenter"
"Color_TitleFlatCenter"
they become "flat". Thanks to Meschle, for this precision.

Don't forget that ThemeGenCE can make themes for WM 2003 to WM6... I understand that it may be a little confusing for those who have not followed OS evolution. The preview on the main page is for WM 2003. You can have previews for new OS by clicking on the buttons on the right middle of main page.

How To Make Themes Using ThemeGenCE
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mv4C1KsY0S0

Chome Weather

This is an app that will add and update, in real time, a new panel on your sliding panels theme called "Weather".
It will install two shortcuts in your Start Menu. A "Weather Update" shortcut, which you can use to update manually, as well as a "Weather Options" shortcut.
Steps to take to make this work:
1) Install one of the cabs below. Pick the "Slim" version if you want thinner panels, like in the screenshots. Pick the Slim Background option to also get a background in the panel according to the current weather condition.
2) It should ask to reboot ! (turn phone off and on.. etc). If it doesn't... reboot manually!
3) Go to your Start Menu and find "Weather Options". Set your Zip / Location Code to your zip code if you're in the US or a "location code" if you're anywhere else. More info on finding your specific code is here http://developer.yahoo.com/weather/#req . Set the "Fahrenheit / Celsius" option to either "F" or "C" (without the quotes!). Specify how often you would like to autoupdate the weather information in minutes in option 3. Specify whether you would like the application to attempt to connect your default GPRS connection first, before updating. Finally you can turnoff the autoupdate feature with the last option (7).
4) Now it might be a good idea to go to Start and find "Update Weather" and run it.
5) The cab should set your homescreen to "Sliding Panel Top Bar + Weather!" automatically. If it doesn't, you need to do it manually to see the weather plugin. If you top icons disappear then you might have to use the regular "Sliding Panel + Weather!" theme.
If you want your system font to look like the one in the thumbnails (calibri), download the .cab attached, install and reboot.
Please use the attached "unlock.cab" to unlock your device if you're getting permission errors trying to install my weather cabs. Thanks.
For now, I just released the SLIM version. Haven't had the time to create the cpr file for the regular version yet, but you'll have it tomorrow.
Pick one of the cabs below to install different icons, as seen in the pictures. Install the icon cabs, AFTER you install the main weather cab.
For people that still don't know how to manually update: you go to your start meny and find "Weather Update" and run it. Clicking the middle button on the keyboard, while having the weather slide activated will NOT do anything!
This will most likely enable ALL the panels installed on your phone, so use this utility to get rid of the ones you don't want displayed.

Hell Yeah
Looks good, can't wait to put it on my phone with the regualar (fat) interface. Thanks for spending your time working into the wee hours of the morning to get this up and running.
this project is interesting and I am following it since begin but why I have toshow on my home the actual weather and actual temeperature? I guess is better to put 3 small weather icons in the slide showing the weather in the next days... no? Or first icon for the actual day forecast and then the following days...
this may sound like a silly question but will this take away any of my current panels????
not to sound like a unappreciating ass, (your doing amazing work), but i agree with Iannik next thing you work on should be a forcast type thing, like a fizz weather type thing with 5 days or something like that.
ok, so this is a very noob question, but i have to be running 6.1 to use this homescreen, correct? i installed it before on my 6.0 dash, and it did nothing...
OrganicM,
Do you still have the latest (working) version using CWelcomeCenter? While working on my new CHome Configurator utility, I might figure out a way to update the plugin without reloading the whole homescreen. If it does work, you will be able to add forecast data into multiple panel and have the manual update process directly from the panel.

ok, so this is a very noob question, but i have to be running 6.1 to use this homescreen, correct? i installed it before on my 6.0 dash, and it did nothing...

Yeah, I think this .cab only works with sliding panels (which are only available in WM6.1). I may be wrong.

LCD Font
Org, do you plan on releasing ver. 1.8 with an LCD system font?
Yes. All that is coming today. I didnd't have time to do all the regular versions last night, so I decided to at least release the slim version for you guys to try. I will get the "Fat" version out today with LCD and not, as well as a SLIM LCD version! Maybe even the IPhone layout if I'm happy with it.... hehe
p.s. I'm also working on a standalone CWelcomeCenter version based on the latest 1.8 code (which I've cleaned up a lot). We will also have forecast data with the current testui version, plus a welcomecenter panel underneath with forecast for a few days!

The iPhone version looks...awesome. I like how the center weather icon overlaps the panel--just a tad. Other people might find that a bug, but I actually like it.

This time use Kavana's Clock with the Staple Center scoreboard look, LA Lakers clock..............!
How!? How do you just keep killin' it O!? Great work dude!

CHome Configurator for WM6.1: Version 1.1.0.5 FINAL (UPDATED - 2008/07/11)

If you are using a smartphone running on Windows Mobile 6.1, this small utility might be useful for you. It allows you to switch on/off and change the display order of the sliding panels on any CHome homescreens. It could also be used to customize all custom panels based on CWelcomeCenter and Settings plugin.
This is the final version which has all the features that I have planned to do since the beginning. Please try it out and report you find any bugs. Have fun.
PS: Thank rickwyatt for the dialer extracted from his ROM and everyone else who contributed the icons.
Download the ZIP version if you have trouble installing .CAB on your device.
If you are using Ricky ROM v24 with CHome Configurator preinstalled, unzip CHomeConfig_Ricky_ROM_v24.zip to \Windows folder of your device.

Works like a charm. Great Work!
Just downloaded and installed. Tried a few tweaks and works great. Its simple to edit the panels and also seems to work well with NRG's weather panel. Awesome app, man!

I Must Say:
This is really nice, I do have a reg editor, which is really all this is. But it has a great GUI, and unlike the OldSAPFavorites, it actually works like it's supposed to work.
I am really impressed by the author, and heck I might even try to improve on this. Although I don't really see how.
Props to the author, and to everyone who hasn't checked this out, it's definitely worth the time. It takes you to exactly what you want to edit. Updates it perfectly.
Rock on!!!
Aww man... This GREATLY eliminates the headache of having to do this through the registry! It's pretty much the same process--just a more user friendly interface!

Ops! Stupid me. Should try the apps first before commenting.
Anyway how about a module to modify the layout - changing the cpr file's fontsize, text placement and slide size. Make a visual presentation of changes being made.
Currently in order to see changes made to the cpr file, require changes in the settings>homescreen.
Thanks and thanks for such a useful apps.

And how do you propose he accomplish that ? You STILL have to reload the CHome plugin to see your changes. Besides, making a GUI editor for the CPR files could prove to a huge pain in the ass, probably not worth his time

Just responding to his comments. Too bad I'm not a coder. Well, if it can be done without hurting anyones's a$$,well and good. Otherwise....
Only suggestions I could think of for an improvements is perhaps getting rid of red for the disabled ones. Its a non-standard GUI practice. More commonly the disabled would be grey, or struck through, and an icon pair, like perhaps an eye & a circleslash (or similar) would denote the visiblity of the active ones. And maybe some way of not moving them to the bottom if they are enabled-invisible, but letting them stay in place.
Still, rather trifling things, and very nice app, that should be standadrd in any 6.1 ROM, as of now, IMHO, and should probably be in the settings Cpanel! Good stuff.
There is no software without bugs
There was a bug in version 0.9.0.0 which prevents Softkey2 URL to keep it value after the settings are saved. So I have updated the software to version 0.9.0.1. Please read the first post for more details.

It would be nice but it would be more like a software running on PC not on the phone because of its complexity and I don't think I'll have time for that for awhile

Belive me, grouping the panels by their visibility is more difficult to do than leaving them in place but I chose that way because it represents exactly what the user will get on the homescreen.
*Off topic*The version number starts at 0.9.x.x: because I haven't had enough time to implement every features I have planned for version 1.0.
Features still not implemented:
Changing page order on Customize window
Adding/Deleting page on Customize window
First of all, thank you for making such a great app. I installed it on my Vox and it works great. The only question I have is: How can I add the CLinks page? When I make it visible, it's not on the homescreen, because it's just not present in the reg. Is there an easy way of adding it?
so i was messin around with it because it diddnt seem you work i hid all the panles and now it wont load even a blank screen when i reset it it freezes at with the start menu bar showing and the windows wait symbol anyone got an idea or am i F'd
Can you still open it with Active Sync? Because if, you might wanna delete the sliding themes and then reboot. It'll probably show that it can't load a layout, but you can acces the startmenu again.

I tried that myself and it required a hard reset to fix the problem. I didn't expect the homescreen to crash like that when no panel is visible (typical Microsoft QA
To do a hardreset:
- Turn off the phone
- Remove the battery for a few seconds and put it back
- Hold both your soft keys for a couple seconds and then while still holding the 2 keys, press power on.
I'll make sure that there's must be at least one visible panel in the next release.
Top Bar Gone
When I install either this one or CHome Weather, the top bar with the status icon disappears. If I uninstall both, the top bar reappears. I have tried it several times, and I get the same results. Any ideas?

Does it just reload the homescreen? If it does, it want work with for people using the TestUIPlugin(like CHome Weather). If this panel is being used, then a reboot is needed to reload the homescreen. But I could be wrong, I was once before.

Titanium FileChanger2 by Roloracer for 3VO WM6.5 2.50( update 9-6-09)New Feature!!

This is a remake of Showaco's file changer, remade to work with the titanium .dll's, .cpr's, and now .png's. For anyone that's new here and hasn't heard of the filechanger, Here's original thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=413393 .
To use this, once you have placed it on your phone. Run the Titanium FileChanger2.mscr. It will ask which type of file you want to find and change, pick one and hit OK. Next, the File System Viewer will open and you will need to navigate to where you keep the file and choose it. Click OK, and it will ask you if you want to set the file change. Push Yes or No, and it will do the rest.
You can install these 2 files(in the zip below) anywhere on your phone as long as they stay within the same folder. They can be in main or storage, program files, my documents, wherever you want. Once placed, you could create a link to start menu. Your cpr and dll files can be place wherever you want also, and do not have to be in the same folders. They could be scattered as long as you know where to look. [Quoted from Showaco's Original]
Once you download my Titanium FileChanger2 .zip , extract the files, and drop the entire folder in your phone (preferably on your sd card), move the .ttf files(inside font and cpr folder) to the windows directory folder, and reboot to register the fonts. Once that's done, you can now use the T.FileChanger2 to mod your homescreen. I hope you guys like them
Now to my new feature!!
the latest thing is transparent softkeybar wallpapers, and as you can see, I've added the feature that will allow the use of multiple of papers, without the need of making one and having to drop it on the windows directory to overwrite the black_softkeybar.png.
Now like the .cpr's and .dla's, you'll be able to choose the .png's , you'll be able to make your papers, make your bottom bars, place them on the supplied folders, and use the T.FileChanger2 to navigate thru the device and select which bottom bar to use, let the app do it's thing , and after reboot, go and select the matching wallpaper and that's it.
I had to rework the mortscript 'cause it didn't want to activate the titanium refresh.exe for the .cpr's after the addition, so I've added a CHomeRefresh.exe that you need to place in the same place as the T. FileChanger2.
I made some wallpapers and matching transparent softkeytbars, for those who don't know how to make them, and also included two new .cpr's with fonts. You will need to use one of my .cpr's to get my clock icon to display on your clock panel.
Happy Customizing....Roloracer

Also for anyone that want's to revert back to the black softkeybar , to use regular wallpapers, I've added a .zip with the black_softkeybar.png here. Just add it to your bottom bar folder and select with Titanium FileChanger2.
Reserved for more panels!

This is made with titanium panels , and titanium.cpr, NRGZ Energy WM6.5 uses the sliding panel homescreen, so because of the different size in the panels it wouldn't display properly , same with the custom font .cpr. Sorry
im having trouble getting this to work. i have 1.3 of the 3vo rom
i downloaded the attached file, copied to memory card, move font to correct directory, rebooted, installed cab, set .cpr file then set .dll and rebooted, no change in panel color but i have the new font
any thoughts?

Hi roloracer

the color on the bottom bar is part of the rom , the only way to change it, (to my knoledge) is with smarttoolkit rc09 , once you install it, you should just be able to use the base hue app on the phone to change the color of it. Smarttoolkit takes over the bottom task bar.

Why you guys changed the default bottom panel behavior? It is more flexible and customizable if you keep the original panel. why we need to use smarttoolkit rc09 to get standard behavior !!!. please atleast next release keep the original...

the smarttoolkit is just a windows vista like interface app that gives you the option to do that, and do skinning also. He probably just wants to be able to match the bottom bar color to the panel color. You don't have to use the smarttoolkit if you don't want.

I should work fine for the panels (.dll), but DO NOT USE IT for the .cpr
Kudos!!
I am using this along with pudgedaddy's Titanium panels, and awilaman's TitaniumWeather panel, and it works perfectly. Make sure to use only the .dll files, for if you use the .cpr's it will mess everything up. (Trust me, I know from experience ) I've got it set up just like I like it, quite transparent so that I can view the background on the home screen.
Again, thanks Roloracer. Keep up the great work.

Honestly , if you go on your pc to windows explorer/my computer/mobile device, and you open the device , you'll find the windows folder(aka- windows directory) it can be dropped in it, or in the folder named fonts, within the windows folder.
If you go in your phone to start menu/acessories/resco explorer and click on it, go down to windows and click on that, and now you're in the windows directory, either drop it in there or, you should see the fonts folder in there, and reboot. Let me know if you need any additional help.
thx roloracer for your help it worked,I put a new font on the phone and everything worked except, 2 problems though ,I tried my font and it worked ,tried your font didnt work, and also I cant use titanium configurator to customize my panel anymore, other than that very awesome to have that flexibility to change my font thx

[Theme] Android Plus (Cyanogen build 1.5r3 v3.6.8.1)

This theme is no longer supported. DL link is no longer available. If you really want this thing or if you want to take over development for it, I will happily send you the zip.
I have an HTC EVO 4G now. I may look into theming for it later, but right now, just don't have the time. You can find my HAL 9000 boot animation at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=14004487. I posted the boot animation I made for myself.
IMPORTANT: THE LATEST VERSION (1.7) WAS DESIGNED FOR 3.6.8.1. PLEASE READ THE CHANGE LOG IN THE SECOND POST TO FIND THE CORRECT THEME FOR THE ROM YOU ARE RUNNING. (Not trying to "yell," guys. Just want to keep people from flashing this theme and hosing their phones.)
This theme port is a mesh of Cyanogen's theme template, this theme (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=517338) posted by parmenti who used elements from Aero [ultra spikey] and Gloss Suite [moonsspoon] and added elements of his own. I created a custom boot screen. Thanks to Temporizer for making HAL's eye "pulsate"! And much thanks to Ohsaka for pointing me to this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=535630) which allowed me to fix the "invisible" notification messages in the status bar. Special thanks also goes out to sir*mez of the PrOdigal_SuN team for providing the XML files needed for the 5x4/6x3 app drawer in all versions preceding 1.5. Thanks to Ohsaka's services.jar color changer app, updates take a lot less time. I've had a lot of help on this theme. There are some pretty wonderful people in this community always willing to help.
PLEASE READ THE FAQ AND TO DO LISTS AT THE END OF THIS FIRST POST BEFORE POSTING QUESTIONS OR ISSUES. IT MAY SAVE YOU LOTS OF TIME IN SEARCHING AND KEEP YOU FROM BEING REPRIMANDED BY OTHER USERS FOR ASKING QUESTIONS THAT HAVE ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED. LET'S TRY TO KEEP THIS THREAD FRIENDLY. WE'RE A COMMUNITY AFTER ALL.
I've ported it for Cyanogen's 1.5r2 v3.6.5. I've got it running on my phone now. So far no problems. Well, there was one problem. I was running the Hero theme. Be sure to remove this theme before you try to install another theme. I got Force Closes all over the place. I keep a baseline install of the ROM with apps installed and configured and swap partition set up just in case I have to fall back. I'm posting the screenshots I have. I also customized the boot screen with Temporizer's help. If enough people want the original Android boot screen, I'll post a version with that. Just let me know. Please be patient when asking for support. I have a full time job, an expensive boyfriend and a kid.

The above images are my home screen. There are widgets included in this theme. On screen five, the internal and SD memory widgets are included. In the screen below, the toggle widgets on the top row are all included. (These are cool, but I use Toggle Settings (Cupcake) to toggle as I keep it in the notification bar so it is available even if I'm not on the home screen.)
EDIT: Lots of questions about widgets. Here goes:
Screen 1
HAL boot screen (included in theme...pulsating eye...static image only available in v1.0...if enough people want it back, I'll make it available for each version)
Screen 2
I used BetterBookmarks (free market app) to create the Wells Fargo link. Got the TuneWiki player widget on there. The rest are just app links.
Screen 3
All app links.
Screen 4
Everyone wants the weather/clock widget. This is a paid app in Android Market called Weather Widget - Donate that costs $1.49. It's worth the money, guys. There are free skin downloads and it seems pretty easy to skin it yourself. Also, you can change the skin without removing and re-adding the widget by firing up the app. On the bottom row, worth noting, is the shortcut to the Lock 2.0 app. I have the Donate version, not the free version. There is a free version. Very cool lockscreen app. Allows me to use the default notification bar, which lets me still pull it down when the phone is locked. Also, you can slide to unlock and it's skinnable. I also have a link to Dialer, just because sometimes I want to go right to it. The rest are contact links I created using BetterCut (paid app in the market), but you can also just create contact links.
Screen 5
Google Search, Starred Contacts live folder, Internal Memory, SD Memory and Voice Text widget. (Voice Text is a paid app in the market). The rest are all app links. And yes, that is CoPilot Live GPS navigation software. I sprang $35 for it in the market. Now I have a portable GPS system. AWESOME! (Yeah, I sang that in a joyous high pitch.)
Screen 6
All app links.
Screen 7
App tray.
Screen 8
This is from Cyanogen's ROM...just included here so you can see that the Reboot Phone option is available.
Alternate Home Screen
BT, Brightness, GPS and WiFi toggle widgets (all included in this theme). Internal and SD memory widgets also included in the theme. Starred Contacts Live folder and TuneWiki Playlists Live folder. The rest are contact links I created using BetterCut (paid app in the market), but you can also just create contact links.
Notification Bar
I use two apps that show on the left side of the notification bar always. One is Toggle Settings (Cupcake). This is a free app available in the market that enables me to change phone settings for various things like WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, 2G/3G, etc from any screen as long as I can see the notification bar. Very cool app that I wouldn't want to be without. The other is Weatherbug. I like this one because it keeps the weather in the notification bar so I can always see it. Plus I think it may be more accurate than my weather/clock widget. May have to test that to see which one is better.
As near as I can tell, all of the features of the ROM are still intact. I can still pull down the notifications bar when the screen is locked. Still have the Reboot option. Still have the special Settings screen that shows SD card secondary memory. I'm happy to make it available as a download, but remember, I'm not in the business of supporting extra stuff. And by support, I mean I don't want to answer questions about how to flash the ROM, how to install a radio, how to change out icons. All of these questions have answers (lots of answers) elsewhere. Please try to keep this thread on topic as it gets hard to find information if things get out of hand. (Those who followed the first JACHero thread know this all too well.) If you need off-topic help, PM me. I'll respond as soon as I can.
You can download the theme at http://www.4shared.com/file/119754684/b12eb22/android_plus_theme_port_17_public_cm-3681-signed.html
. (Remember to rename this file to update.zip and place in the root of your SD card. Then you should just be able to boot into recovery to apply the theme.) Download links for older versions of this theme are available in the change log (2nd post).
FAQ
I flashed this theme on top of another theme and now I'm getting force closes all over the place.
Reflash Cyanogen's ROM (WILL NOT DELETE YOUR DATA). After you load up your phone, copy the theme update.zip then shut down the phone and boot into recovery to flash the theme. Courtesy of djlucklu
I lost auto rotate.
Open terminal, su, then "rm /data/misc/akmd* /data/misc/rild*" and reboot. Courtesy of Cyanogen's FAQ
If that method does not work, try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4076155&postcount=4625
My home screen is blank.
Give it time. The first time you flash this theme, it will take a while to load up.
I'm experiencing a lot of lag.
I run a lot of widgets and have icons on every screen. This theme is perfect for that in that it still looks great if you cover three of the four rows on every home screen (and even some of the fourth row if you lay it out right on each screen). I'm running a swap partition. Learn how at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=531988. Some people are running Swapper, which is a free download in the market. Info available in other areas of xda. I experience practically no lag once my phone has booted up completely.
How do I get screenshots on the G1?
I'm just going to preface this by saying this question is completely off-topic for this thread. Temporizer provided these links: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=508541&highlight=ddms and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=450741&highlight=screenshot.
My SuperUser app is crashing.
This isn't an issue with the ROM OR the theme. it's actually an issue with Cyanogen's 1.3.1 recovery.
Reboot into recovery (home + power)
Drop down to console (alt-x) and type this:
Code:
mount /system
chmod 4755 /system/bin/su
reboot

*****TO DO*****
Replace icons with a different icon pack or custom icons. Weighing options now. Open to suggestions.
Rework colors to blend better with theme.
Replace icon for ringer toggle widget. Currently, it's the only blue widget. (Request by Ohsaka)

Change Log
VERSION 1.7 Works with Cyanogen's ROM v3.6.8.1.
Does not have the modified Rounded Labs widgets by xidominicanoix as I am currently redesigning these in Photoshop. New icons coming. I don't like the thicker battery on the lock screen either. I will be switching back to the thinner battery that comes with Cyanogen's theme.
DL link no longer available. PM me if you really want this.
VERSION 1.6 (Works with Cyanogen's ROM v3.6.8. Courtesy of Temporizer. Thanks to xidominicanoix for GPS and WiFi Widgets. I have not had a chance to test this, but he has it running on his phone. I will let him field the questions on it.)
VERSION 1.5 (Works with Cyanogen's ROM v3.6.7.2. This one's courtesy of Temporizer, guys. While I had the stomach bug, he stepped up and ported the theme. I have not had a chance to test this, but he has it running on his phone. I will let him field the questions on it.)
VERSION 1.4 - Added 5x4/6x3 app drawer (courtesy of sir*mez of the PrOdigal_SuN team)
VERSION 1.3 - Fixed the invisible notification messages when and SMS or email are received.
DL link no longer available. PM me if you really want this.
VERSION 1.2 - Fixed the invisible "Clear notifications" button in the notification dropdown. I've been all through my phone to see if there are any adverse effects from this change. I have not found any, but it's four in the morning ("came without a warning...everybody's got a place to be"...name that tune) so I'm groggy. Might have missed something. If you find anything, let me know and I'll get it fixed.
VERSION 1.1 - People requested that HAL's eye in the boot screen "pulsate". temporizer created the images to make this illusion possible. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Temporizer! All credit to him for this update.
ORIGINAL VERSION 1.0 - Used Cyanogen's 1.5r2 v3.6.5 theme template and original theme posted by parmenti to create this theme.
Replaced stock Android boot "animation" with the HAL boot screen.

You may not see paid apps if you are not on a US or UK network. Try searching for market enabler app to be able to spoof the market.

Yep. Noticed that, too. Gonna fix it. Just need to find time. House full of people right now watching Top 100 UFC Fights, waiting for the Lesnar/Mir fight.
EDIT: Fixed in v1.2.

I also wish to say thank you and IF you had not posted in CM's I would not, more than not, have found this 'way cool' theme.
Now, "IF" unlike others, it does not 'cause issues' when CM's next update comes out, I have found a keep-able theme.....
Also, you have some very interesting apps I did not know of. Would you mine sending me or posting what you have/like (the atrackdog app will email you a list that you can forward, copy and/or save and paste here ).
