Manila 3D programs luncher is very inconvenient. I would prefer to have first 12 buttons assigned to programs for direct start but rest 12 buttons to assign folders: Navigation, Office, Internet, Mail, My programs, Games etc.
When push on the button it should open new page with buttons for corresponding programs on it. SPB Mobile Shell ideology in Program luncher (tree structure) is considerable better than Manila 3D ideology (linear structure). If you have many programs in ALL PROGRAMS of Manila, long searching for the necessary program is warranted. Also all sub-programs of main program like Pocket Informant appear on main program menu ALL PROGRAMS which is not necessary and makes menu crowded.
So may somebody develop the necessary changes in Manila 3D Program Luncher in order to make it the same like SPB Mobile Shell.
I have a idea do install SPB Mobile Shell and use a theme with 2 pages only -Program Luncher (with folders) and MRU (direct program start). Is it possible?

ok guys I just got my hd a few days ago.
I had an att tilt before and used spb suite with it.
I like the look of TF3d but it is not much function.
Can any one figure out a way of incorporating spb diary into TF3d.
thanks
I too am a fan of the Spb suite. I have successly incorportated it by using SecondToday to switch to it. I used Advanced Config to reprogramme the left-hand softkey to SecondToday (I initally programmed the PDA to switch to Spb Diary when clicking on Calendar on the home-page, but found this too clumsy to use, and much prefer switching to it from the left-hand softkey).
When switching to SecondToday, click and hold on any blank part of the screen to enter set-up. I have configured this just to show Spb Diary filling the whole screen. I can access the rest of the Spb function from the right-hand softkey.
I find this whole arrangement works really well.
For Spb fans, note that the new updated Weather program also runs as a stand-alone program, and so can be accessed directly from TF3D. This provides a much more accurate forecast than the AccuWeather page.

I know some of you love Manila, but I rather have the Windows Interface.
I would switch from time to time, but mostly on WI.
What about you guys?
Same here
I have most all the time Windows interface
To be honest I am not 100% ok with any of them...
To be honest. Manila. Just because it's easier to navigate and there is more information on a screen then windows mobile 6.5 screen.
Still, for productivity, I would choose the old style windows.
But manila gets more features that I can't miss. Also, everything is directly accessable. Like the agenda, weather, email etc. So now I'm stuck with manila.
Manilla and SPB Mobile shell for me.
Still have the ability to switch to std WinMo home with 2nd today but Manilla and SPBMS suit my needs.
There are plenty of shell/homescreen variants available on the Net with a multitude of plugins available.
With all the customisations any amount of usefull info is easily accessible.
Cheers,
Beasty
Can be one of the softkeys mapped to open the Programs list - the default WM 6.1 program list. I'm not using TouchFlo, nor any other shell. I'm using Resco Contact Manager with its Today plugin and this functionality is only thing missing to have my HD really touch-friendly and lightning fast.
Please, advice. Thanks.
Hi guys.
Okay, so I've cooked my ROM, WM 6.5 28205 Build with Manila 2.5.19222911.0 and Max Manila 2.82a BETA.
It's running great!, But, during my time here I've collected a rather large list of apps / games etc that I usually end up installing. Now even with Max Manila I am still limited to 20 shortcuts on the home screen. So then I have to decide which 20 applications are the most important to have there. But what about when new apps are released? What if I want those shortcuts there instead?
This brings me to my request, I would like to see an app / service that:
*creates an MRU (Most Recently Used) list
*in addition to this list, a numerical value for each app to show how many times the application is used (for ranking purposes)
*takes the above data and integrates it into the registry settings for the 20 shortcuts on the home screen under Max Manila.
The ranking data would mean if I ran program "A" 50 times, and program "B" 20 times, then program A would appear at shortcut 1 on the home screen, and program B at shortcut 2. But then if I install a new app, that i ran 70 times, it would move programs A and B one shortcut over, and the new app would now appear in shortcut 1. etc etc.
Perhaps as a more advanced thing, an option in the program / service to allow the user to choose how many shortcuts to prioritze, in the event that some people only have the 12 or 15 shortucts, or even stock manila.
Waddya think guys and girls? any takers?
Hi!
I'm looking for a application that would add program shortcuts to the basic WM 6.1 home screen. Just 6-10 shortcuts, no tabs needed. Something like HTC Home or SPB Pocket Plus (annoying tabs, too many unneeded features).
I tested a few programs like this, but they made too many changes to the start menu.
And it would be cool, it that or another application would allow to quickly change phone profiles (normal/vibrate/silent) either by a programmable button or better by shortcuts on the home screen.
Please recommend, thanks.
Resco Conact Manager comes with a plugin for what you want
