Hellow!
I use my HD as a remote control for smarthouse (wifi).
I need, that a telephone waikup from G-Sensor.
Does anybody can help?
I dont think the G-Sensor can wake your phone, but the stylus sensor can, and there are a variety of apps you can get which will let you launch another app based on the stylus sensor.

Hi,
Just saw this, haven't got one or seen it, but looks interesting...
http://features.engadget.com/entry/6336778455600767/
It's a small audio - to infrared signal convertor.
Was just thinking how you could turn down the TV when the commercials come on to surf the net in quiet. with out the need to reach for the remote
Regards
Michael
You are one lazy lazy boy!
Jus kiddin. I use Novii remote and it is just fantastic. It has macro recording function so i can basically teach the software what all signals to use.
Oh and i do use it to turn down the tv while browsing the net; i dont like reaching for the remote myself
How do you deal with the landscape issue? I'm looking for the best remote control software, but the location of the IR port makes it awkward...
read the article again - you don't actually use the IR port. You use the audio jacket which is conveniently located at the back of the Universal.
I was playing my Wii Today and i had an idea.
Would it be possible to use A Phone with an accelerometer as a Wiimote?
I tried to connect my Touch Pro and my Diamond but i could only connect to the WiiMotes not the Wii.
Any help would be much appreciated.
I have limited Programming experience in VB and C++.
it wold only work for the accelerometer there would be no courser movement on the screen you know that sensor bar is just 8 infrared led lights so if it had an ir sensor it would be possible but as far as i know i don't think any windows mobile devices have one i think there is on for i phone but not sure on this
Was looking at turning my i9300 into a universal remote controller for home entertainment.
As there is no infrared blaster built in and my TV, DVD, SkyHD box are not bluetooth enabled, two options become apparent, add extra IR hardware or remote Bluetooth to IR hardware.
1. Add external IR hardware - this seems fiddly to have to find and then insert the IR device into headphone socket each time. http://www.irdroid.com/ About €14
2.1. Griffin: http://griffintechnology.com/support/beacon-android (currently out of stock). About €52 and need separate versions for android and apple.
2.2. PDAwin.com: http://www.pdawin.com/android . €79.80
More expensive, and android only, but the app seems quite well thought out. The idea of photographing your own remote or creating an image of your "own" remote and using this is appealing - can prioritise the most used buttons at top of the screen for ease of use.
2.3. irdroid: http://www.irdroid.com/irdroid-v2/ About €44
App functionality needs more work.
2.4: Logitech Harmony
http://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/harmony-smart-control, €90
Appears well thought out
Has anyone here tried any of these or other versions?
Any recommendations - besides waiting for my next phone that is ir enabled
I haven't tried this yet but thanks for posting the links I may give one of them of a shot.
Found another option to use with IR hardware in the earphone jack - a very comprehensive piece of software: http://developers.coversal.com/projects/coversal/wiki
Hi guys, I need to turn on and turn off the display of my android tablet remotely. Someone knows a remote control that operates from a distance of 3-5 meters? Exists an app that can turn on/off the display with a bluetooth remote control Camera Shutter like this? Wireless Bluetooth Camera Remote Shutter Control f/ IOS Android iPhone Samsung on ebay
I have a good wired headset, and I wish to be able to take calls without taking my smartphone out of the pocket. I need a device (preferably bluetooth-connected, but USB will also work for me) that has two buttons ("accept incoming call" and "reject incoming call/end ongoing call") and maybe a small screen that shows the caller ID (not mandatory; I could just install an app that reads the caller ID out loud). It should also work without needing to install any device-dependent software on my smartphone.
I don't need a fitness tracker (most of them can't control calls anyway, just show a notification) or a smart watch (a lot of them don't work at all without some exotic software on the smartphone) or a bluetooth headset (I already have a headset that I like) or a hands-free car toolkit (I don't need the device to have a microphone or a speaker).
I'm stumped. I don't even know how to search for such a device. Does it exist? Is there a special name for such a thing?
So this may not be the exact answer you are looking for but I am hoping it may guide in the right direction. I have this multi media remote that I use which I absolutely love:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00RM75NL...&pd_rd_r=c4015904-fa45-11e8-bfeb-5beec295fed0
I always wanted the ability to be able to remap the control buttons or just a bare bones bluetooth remote with programmable buttons. I also have this other tool I use on my android called an External Keyboard Helper Pro that can be used to re-map keys to certain custom actions. I am going to try that with my Satechi sometime next week and see if I can configure it to accept/reject calls.
Hope this helps.
