hi I was wondering if it was possible to create my own keyboard layout for dash.
Ultimately I want to type in korean on my dash, so far I'm capable of reading them in gmail app. any browser, and system file browser.
I think if I can come up with the T9 layout for my dash I'd be able to write in korean on it as it's capable of displaying it.
is there such program?

I have an application that requires a Hebrew font on my Touch HD. I have copied the Hebrew font that I need to windows\font and I can then use the font is then available for me to use in my application.
The problem is that touchflo for some reason picks up this font in some places. Most of touchflo is OK but when I dial someone's phone number for instance I get a load of garbage on the display rather than the name of the person that I am calling. Does anyone know how to control the fonts that toughflo uses?
Thanks
I have a Sprint TP2 stock ROM WM6.1...
This problem started, or rather, was discovered when I tried to disable TF3D SMS in favor of Microsoft threaded SMS.
I saw on this PPC geeks thread, a Manila file which, when put in /Windows, would allow me to tap a new SMS and open Microsoft SMS instead of TF3D.
After doing this and soft-resetting, I discovered that my pop-up keyboard was messed up. (ScreenShotA). I was able to get a full keyboard to pop up by tapping the invisible ^ next to the center keyboard soft key (ScreenShotB), however the keys were very small. I opened it up in landscape (ScreenShotC) but the keyboard was the same size with deadspace on either side. I deleted the recently added 47dd6acd_manila file from /windows and reset, but still have this keyboard. I want to get the original keyboard layout back (ScreenShotD).
How do I do it?
Please Help! Thanks!
lol
my guess is you just incidentally disabled the htc kb. i believe that i the standard wm keyboard, look in your settings
I found a solution on PPCGeeks:
set HKLM\SOFTWARE\Tegic\eT9\Ime\CurrentET9Style to 0.
I use a third-party Asian IME (input method editor) to display Asian characters.
This IME used to work really well with other phones, but with TP2, some of the symbols don't come out well.
For example, Fn+H comes out as "\", not ";" , and Fn+J comes out as "/" not ":". The latter problem is very annoying, because it basically prevents entering web address with the sliding keyboard.
When I raised this issue with the developer, they said the IME has worked with almost every PDA-phone, including Touch Pro, but the non-Microsoft standard keyboard layout of Touch Pro2 is keeping it from working properly and there is nothing they can do about it.
Is it true that the keyboard layout of TP2 does not conform to some kind of Microsoft standard?
If so, is there any way to fix it?
I'm enjoying to write emails and sms's for compact HTC_IME keyboard with t9. But in browser I don't want to use t9 and compact keyboard. I like to use regular q keyboard without any prediction, also with internet forms, too.
Is there any chance or any program to according to the selected programs that change our preferences automatically?
Hey there,
I wonder why it's so hard to implement something like a txt-import or a common user dictionary (which doesn't depend on each keyboard itself)!? Is there any way to import words to the gingerbread stock keyboard or to the go keyboard? Sometimes I simply can't switch to try different keyboard because I would have to retype all of my words again, which is a real pain. When I was a keyboard app developer, I would first implement a import function, which really should be easy to do... Or is there a hack way to somehow interfer with the data of a app and simply edit the data-files!?
Thanks!
