I'm using it, can't find any problems, seems to run smoothly and everything.

which is where i found out about this rom. as you can see from my sig i'm running a t-mobile variant so cannot download the file from there hence my polite request for an upload somewhere.
if you do know a link to the actual file, perhaps letting me know where that was would have taken just as long to do as the smart answer and been much more helpful.

I have found a problem with the Dutch version of the 2.03.404.2 ROM.
If I write a new SMS message, type a few letters of a name and use 'Menu' -> 'Check names' the SMS message magically disappears.
Are there more people who have this problem?

thanks for yet more sarcasm. i do use the search a lot and only start a thread after much research. neither of you have spotted the obvious problem with your put downs. most english speakers would use the word "latest" rather than "lastest" (not actually a word anyway) in the title of the thread i needed so how i was meant to find that without a bit of help is a bit of a mystery to me.

While I'm the first to say "search first, ask later" and "don't create a new thread unnecessarily - there are ways and ways to say things.
Like did you try a google search?
Or have a look here - and try to search the site first before creating a new thread - otherwise the site can get congested with lots of small posts of no interest to anyone asking the same questions!

Yes there was a non official WM6 ROM by bepe. He has to close and to delete his thread because some people have a problem with his work.

Hmm - these two phrases in the same thread Makes me laugh.
I was trying to be as calm as possible - while making the point that unnecessary threads like this one just pollute a great forum. My point about searching remains relevant - and no I didn't read the title of the thread. Apologies.
However, as freggeln got as far as the Trinity Mobile 6 forum - a couple more clicks or searches would have found the info he wanted.
Finding the fact that there is NO official (released) WM6 ROM yet for the Trinity is not difficult, either. My redirection to the Available ROM versions page was the most useful bit of info that anyone could provide to a newbie looking for a ROM, I think

I see reading is a very hard thing, "from any manufacturer or provider" is written in his Post so he wants an ORIGNAL HTC ROM even if it's brandet with some Provider addons. And ORIGINAL ROMs are WM5 only.

It´s a long time ago ,i was here last time. And now i wanted to finally upgrade my MDA Compact to Bigstorage-ROM, but can´t find the ROMs here anymore. I´ve read so far, that xda-developers was forced to take them from their servers. But where can i get them now from. Any hints?

ok, obviously the forum is not very newbie friendly, but i can understand that it can be annoying. so please answer me just one more question, since i searched here a lot, but couldn´t find the files i am searching for: do you guys mean i can find the rom(s) as an attachement or that i have to search for links in the threats that will direct me to the proper file(s)?

WWE = World Wide English
since ms got the site to remove most of the unofficial roms on the ftp site

Hi. I heard froyo has been released for nexus. Does that mean it will soon be available for desire as custom Rom?

I was about to start porting Paul's Nexus version but decided to come here first in order to know if it has been done and end up reading lots of non-sense.
You can have threads like this in the general section and when there is a port it will be published in its own thread, can we stick to development relevant posts here? There aren't many desire developers, we don't want to push them away with misplaced content.

hi guys, here is the link to download froyo 2.2 and once downloaded, rename it as update.zip & copy it to sdcard and apply it in recovery mode.....
for flash 10.1, download it from android market & install.... here is the link....

Can this really have been ported only 12 hours after release, paul at Modaco has already said next week for a Desire port.
Posting links to files that are for the wrong phone is going to pi$$ off an awfull lot of people when they start bricking their phones.
Pretty certain that link is not to a Desire port.

I've been trying to get this new Beta 3 file from:
[ROM] Incredible 2 / HTC S710d 2.3.3 ROM based on IS - Beta3 (14 July, 2011)
the problem is that it seems to only be hosted on a chinese website and even putting the page through a translator the link doesn't work & can't register on the site because it says my IP is strictly prohibited.
can someone who was actually able to obtain the file put it on 4shared.com or zippyshare.com(or similiar?)

You need a root explorer and look in /data/apps.
