Hi to all
As new to the HD and windows mobile, I am looking for any good calendar application instead of the one that comes with the mobile. Nothing too fancy, as I primarily sync with Outlook. Any opinions?
Thanks in advance
The one and only. ThumbCal

Hi all,
Do You have any suggestions for a better calendar application (preferably freeware) than the native WM6 one?
Thanks in advance

Have a look at "DateLens". I realy like it. But it is not advised for "strong" user of the Calendar.

Pocket Informant is very good as time management tool. It's not free although was free at Handango last Friday.

I like the Today Agenda very much, it's good configurable and free.
Here is the link for the newest version.
I use AgendaOne. very easy to use.
www.developerone.com/agendaone/
For today, Agenda One with release 2 is my option, though Pocket Informant is also good.
AGENDA ONE is the best choice:faster than PI or Agenda Fusion. The only bad thing is that I can't find "free" iconpacks for it.
Best regards
I tend to use ThumbCal - its not free but as the name suggests its very easy to use without stylus!
I've tried PI, AgendaOne and Fusion today, but none of them can convince me to buy it; all have some nifty features, but none of them are that much better than the built in calendar.
PI has way too much configuration settings, yet still I can't configure it the way I want. Same for Fusion.
AgendaOne is a lot simpler, but that's also a limitation. Apart from lots of colors you can't change much in the appearance.
I have to say that PI and Fusion are probably very good, but I've tried them too short to get to know them very well.
On a previous pda with PalmOS I used Beyond Contacts. If that existed for Windows Mobile I'd buy it immediately. It looks a lot like PI and Fusion, but it worked much more intuitively than those two (as far as I can remember, it's been a few years)
Hello
is it possible to sync wth lotus notes email ,calender, and contacts

most common software is intellisync
Or Mnotes...
sync via cadenza
i used to sync to lotus notes using a prog called cadenza- that was 7 years ago- not sure if it is still around

Lotus Synchro
Hi man,
I'm using Commontime's mSuite 5.
For me it's the best software in synchronisation, just only one disadvantage - cannot synchronise hand written notes.
But for more detials click on the link: http://web.commontime.com/
If you must be exposed to Lotus, as I am at work, please consider using the free Lotus to Outlook connector, which will allow you to be entirely compatible with a lotus system, but use Outlook instead.
I work in a major Lotus based office, and have to say that the connector (and Outlook) have finally made Lotus bearable, with no problems whatsoever (ie Calendar, ToDo, Notes, Email etc all work better than they did before, but are all derived from the Lotus system).
And of course, once you have Outlook, you can sync normally and easily.

we do this at work with ibm easysync, works great
I´m using XTNDConnect PC Version 6.0 with WM6.0 and Lotus Notes ver. 7
Its working very well...
Hi,

For Vijay555
Hi Vijay,, i downloaded the plugin to sync lotus notes with outlook as per your thread...but now i dont know what to do...how do i synchronize
Easy Sync pro
Easy Sync Pro works fine with WM 6.1 and Lotus Notes 7, 8 & 8.5
but it does not work with WM 6.5
Sorry to bother you all about this, but I was hoping to get everyones experienced/educated minds on what is the best contacts manager/programme out there
Currently using standard contacts which comes with Schaps WM6.1 Beta ROM, but have also tried SPB Contacts & Photo Contacts Pro. v5.08 demo
All opinions welcome, and again sorry to disturb evryone on such a trivial question
cheers
Not one response!!! Was hoping for a little bit better than that!!
It depends what you want from a Contacts program I guess but I've been impressed with the standard Contacts program when used with the Random Access CAB file. I also use the contacts section of Pocket Informant 8. They're both different and both have their own strengths and weaknesses.
You may also want to try PocketCM for a bit of iPhone-ish type contact management. It's also worth taking a look at Face Contacts (at least I think that's what it was called) which displays selected contacts on your Today screen in a similar fashion to the way iTunes Album Cover Flow style works.
I have been using iContact and CNetX Face Contacts. I find that they are good for me.
I have been using iContact is very simple and good.
cheers guys
any sleek calendar apps anyone?
I did stumble upon one on here called "black calendar" but the link wasn't working...
thanks!
I suggest flashing Dutty's v3.3 rom and you get a real nice sleek calendar built in.
If not, look up ThumbCal, its not free but by far the best 3rd party calendar app.
Jake
ThumbCal doesn't really look too good from the pics to be honest
are there any pics of Duttys ROMs? although I'm not sure I'd want to do a whole new ROM, I've done quite a few updates on the phone (mostly from this forum) this weekend and I'm rather pleased with the outcome!
Check out SBSH Calendar Touch, it's definitely the best looking calendar I've seen yet and the app is really great!
ThumbCal is great calendar, but i also use Dutty's 3.3 ROM with it's stock calendar. The calendar is so great that there is no need to use some 3rd party calendar, but if you want one - i would go with ThumbCal (used it for few months and it's great)

Can't recommend Dutty's ROM enough though, he's releasing a new one tonight as far as i know
thanks for the link with the pics... it does look good
Hi,
Is there any good agenda app for wp7. Original agenda is very limited, and I doesn´t find any agenda app like pocket informant or agenda one.
Can anybody helps me?
Thanks
at present i don't believe so. i don't think you can any APIs have been released for it. if a dev made an agenda app they would have to come up with all their own things like connection to exchange and that.
