No uninstall the program leaving just the drivers. Then run unrevoked again.

Make sure you set the Boot driver also, as per the instructions in UNrevoked directory on .html file.
Also make sure you have the correct version of Unrevoked v 3.1
problem solved.
Thanks everyone !!

Make sure Sync is uninstalled and follow driver installation instructions.
As previously mentioned
Perhaps change your title - its very misleading, the problem wasn't unrEVOked, it was you not reading their instructions - glad you got it sorted though.

i had the same issue
i backup sd card since i v only one and created a gold card
i then ran an the R5 root method since i v a version 0.8 cant remember
once u do step one dont bother about step two
just copy fake flash to ur sdcard and rename update.zip
then hold the down vol button and press power once to get to hboot
select recovery
when u get to the screen with the red triangle
press the up vol button and hold the power button
when u get to the blue screen select apply update.zip
that should take you to recovery
dont forget to backup ur stuff before u reroot
pls change title to solved
the problem was unrevoked
this happen after i tried using unrevoked
went ok from the beginning
but after the phone rebooted it kept pushing recovery for over an hour
tried it about 5 times and still did not work
as always RTFM (read the f***ing manual)
glad you got it sorted, recovery and rooting is a godsend so many roms to try haha
What about reading more to learn more?

The problem WAS NOT unrevoked, it was YOU and only YOU not reading the damn f$%&ing instructions. Before you try to root or update, please read, read and read again until you understand every single word of the instructions, and if there is something you don't understand, just ask, we are all pleased to help each other, but don't accuse a great program and the greater team behind unrEVOked.
Thanks for reading.

I have had then when i messed up rooting my phone, its not bricked. your recovery is messed up, follow this guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=6710081&postcount=2
if step 2 does not do anything then just hold volume down and power then navigate to recovery.
keep trying till you can boot recovery it will work, thats what i did
Did you try running the RUU update while you are in this mode?
The USB port should be in hboot-usb mode.

Did you ever manage to fix your Desire? If you did, then how did you do it?
I have the same problem and am tearing out what little hair I have.
Any help would be appreciated.

If you haven't already fixed your Desire, then after some trial and error I came up with this fix (post #5) that worked for me.

What happened when you ran AAHK? What was the output? Did you try rebooting while holding power+volumedown? What happens when you try to access HBOOT?
It's not brick. Flash stock ROM using SD Card method, and root again...

Ok, that is not a bricked device. That means that something went wrong due to connectivity issues. That is covered in the Effen manual. Reseting your phone was a stupid thing to do. You deleted usb debugging drivers from the phone (also covered in the effen manual). Only solution now is to flash a RUU and start all over again.

Hey guys!
I need a little help: my phone has rebelled against the law of physics and somehow slipped from the side of the bath into the hot water. Basically everything works, but the screen's touch.
No problem, I've made a contract with my carrier for such case.
But I'm running Cyanogenmod 10. I'd like to RUU it back to Sense. Should I try it before I take it to the carrier? Do I have to interract with the screen during the process of RUU?
I've connected my phone in fastboot mode, my computer recignizes it perfectly.
Thanks for your help!
Bump.
You're phone will not be repaired if its water damaged.

I know, but as I had stated I have made +warranty with this device for such cases with the carrier.
Nvmd, starting to RUU back.
Since it is obviously not a software failure i don't think you have to revert back to stock. I am pretty sure it will work to go back as far as "fastboot devices" and "adb devices" gives you back an adequate info.
If it was me and i had some spare time i'd revert it anyway, just to be sure.

I got an error during the instalation, and now I only have black screen with a HTC logo on it, can't enter download mode.
Can anyone help?
What Error? Black Screen with HTC-Logo is some sort of a download mode - its RUU"downloadmode". normally u do an h-boot upgrade in it.

it only said something like error occured, installation stops. Phone keeps rebooting itself
Edit: managed to connect it to pc, and "fastboot devices" command and "fastboot getvar version-main" works. Will try to run the RUU again
Edit 2: Error [170]: Usb connection error.
be sure to follow the correct how to step by step. also remember you cant downgrade h-boot if you upgraded once.

I was following this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/wik...ashing_a_RUU_to_completely_restore_your_phone
How do I know if had upgraded hboot before?
Edit: Ok, it seems the main problem it got disconnected is because the phone keeps rebooting itself.

Howto is ok. Stick to it. Plug in the phone to your wall charger first to make sure you have got enough power. In the fastboot bootloader you can see your current H-Boot but not if you upgraded it. If you can't remember doing anything to your H-Boot you didn't upgrade i guess...

The battery should be around 90%. How can I stop from constantly rebooting it? I can't even turn it off.
By the way the only thing I remember is that I have upgraded a few months through OTA, and I needed to get a newer RUU. Not sure if the hboot got upgraded or not.

I only have one idea to turn it off is to throw it to water. -.-
Maybe it is more defective than we thought. Try pressing the power button really long and or.press volume up to enter fastboot. Otherwise just send it in, if it constantly reboots the Tec guys can't to much, too.
Remember to press the thank you button..!

Did you do a full wipe (system, data, and cache) before flashing? Are you S-Off with AAHK or S-On with unlocked bootloader?

Yes, i did a full wipe before flashing...
I cant see if i´m S-ON or Off because i can´t go to the original boot menu, but i think its S-Off because the Rom that was in the phone before i messed with it was not the original

An unlocked bootloader with S-On still permits flashing of custom ROMs. Is your recovery updated? If not, do that.

The guide in post #7 of the guide in my signature is pretty clear. Read that. What is important to know is whether your phone is S-On bootloader unlocked or S-Off. Since you didn't hang on the boot splash when you flashed ARHD, I'm guessing S-Off. But just to be safe: to find this information, reboot while holding power and volume-down. That is your bootloader, known as hboot. What does it say? Finally, my hunch is that you need to update your recovery. The guide has instructions for that, but basically, download the image to your computer and flash it from fastboot.
Oh, and you may need to install your drivers on your computer. Install HTC Sync from the HTC website.

When you're tired, it's best to get some sleep. Most mistakes happen when sleepy and tired (been there!) so I'd suggest a little shut-eye and continue then
Sounds to me like the problem will get solved pretty soon, just read the guides and don't rush things. If unsure, read the guide (for what-ever you are doing) a second or a third time and don't try doing many things at the same time (ie.don't try updating your radio, rom, & recovery all at the same time ).
Pretty much anything can be fixed as long as you got recovery working so don't stress too much. Best of luck and hope you get your phone working soon :good:
Still havn´t found a solution for my problem, but i think i´m on to something....
I think the problem with my phone is the boot.img.... i can´t flash it correctly...
Dont know what program to use or what file to download.... i tried openning a command list but i and type "fastboot flash boot boot.img" as i´ve seen on other posts but i always get "this is not known as an internal or external command, etc...."
What can i doooooooooooooo?!!!! going crazy with this
Hey buddy, stay calm haha. I had the exact same problem. The problem is that although you tried to flash it, you nee to have the boot.img and some files including fastboot.exe. All of the files you need and how to flash the rom are in a guide by glevitan. You can just google it.
