hi all
sorry for the late, but i was working on wizard and i didn't have a device to test.
today we have a new build for our HERMES, i finally ported to work perfectly for HERMES.
i used the drivers as modules (not files) and not compressed to get the highest performance ((thanks to misar for his great tool for the modules))
i will give some details,
Base Rom:

it is like professional version + HTC Home on TNT Series + :

the truth thing is that, the rom is ready to test, but i didn't test it yet.
waiting for my friend to flash his device with it (just to make sure its working ), then directly will uploaded.
Ya habibi I just found out my GPRS works on Cyphols ROM can you figure out why it only works on his and not on anyones elses?
So not to bed tonight, you never know when the Rom get's available......
Can wait to try your next release. I am currently using the TNT2, and the only issue I had is "contact". After open and close the "contact" few times, and the device freeze.

I havent done any benchmarks but you can feel free to do it with my roms. More simple is to test my rom. You will simply feel the speed. Please post here the Scores. Thank You

That's not true. There is no .NET-Application around the world, with which you can see a performance boost between .NET CF 2.0 and .NET CF 3.5. And Windows Mobile won't be faster, because it has nothing to do with the .net cf.
So, please show me a benchmark

Fantastic comment! Maybe you should read more about net framework and what it does.
How about if you post the benchmark results here. I was busy enough developing cooking and uploading this rom.

according to wwe diamond project rom...
Main features:
* Based Diamond 1.93.921.2
* WM6.1 version 5.2.20273 build 20273.1.3.3
I don't know where to get this rom from, but they got it.
1.93.921.2
1.93.921.2 seems to be a unofficial rom and i couldnt find any resource to get it. Only place where this rom is mentioned is the project rom.
Since i cant confirm it is a official rom i will not play with it.
My ROMS are only OFFICIAL HTC roms wich i tweak only for speed nothing else.

I may also look into giving a brief highlight of each ROM's key benefits at a later date. I will not be including ROMs that are no longer being supported or that haven't been update for more than 3 or 4 weeks.
If you are able to find yourself a ROM that meets your needs, please consider thanking your developer and maybe offer them a small donation for all their hard work. Please remember that they spend a lot of time and effort in making your phone the beautiful device it is today and do this on top of their day jobs, school etc.
ROMs are currently listed based on Froyo 2.2 and 2.2.1 only. I may add older versions over Christmas.

I think for now I'll stick to the Galaxy S I9000 forum simply because I probably couldn't cope with any more ROMs

Yes, I think this is a STICKY material too.
Maybe he can change the Title to Latest Modded ROMs Thread or something to reflect the content. Change the First Post to reflect the same changes.
This is clean build from latest cyanogen froyo sources. Works fine with flykernel so far. Latest gapps don't work, flash gapps-mdpi-20101020-signed.
I did full wipe, but I am not sure if it is necessary.

There is only one reason, which you can read from first post. You want original cyanogen 6.2 RC0 - here you go.
I didn't noticed any big change from 6.1 so far, but there are some changes in code I saw when syncing repo.

according to Linpack in case of [email protected] I get approx. 3.1Mflops but the combination [email protected] gives approx. 5Mflops...

In daily use,it looks same. In 6.1 I had problems with homescreen transition effect speed (LauncherPro) which disappeared now..but it should be that elelinux gl fix.
btw..time to move to cm 7 guys
been with this for a couple of days. loving it. smooth as anything and boots in 30 secs.

Well from development perspective, all these ROM's are always in the stage of constant development so they are not finished On the other hand, some ROM's like MIUI or AOSP should get people's attention in order to help developers or give them some donations to improve their work.
This is great. However, do you think it might be useful to add some more information regarding the usability status? For example, the MIUI and AOSP ROMs aren't fully-functional, so perhaps a note stating that they're in development or alpha stage? Granted, someone can figure that out by going to the thread and reading, but it might be helpful nonetheless. I know some others have mentioned this and the OP also clarified a bit, but it would hopefully prevent any confusion.
Thanks for putting this together. Let me know if you need help maintaining this going forward as it will likely become a bit more time consuming as more ROMs come out.

Was about to type something along these lines also.
People might check this post and go "Oh MIUI, lets flash it" then "AMG WHERE IS MY SOUND" or what ever is missing

Great initiative that was missing in SGS II section, Thanks a lot
May I suggest you add more details : version, date of update, brief description etc....
And also a good idea would be to include Kernel versions available etc...
You can have a look on what was done for the Desire here, and the Nexus S here

That is purely their own fault. If they don't even bother read the description of the ROM then they shouldn't even bother flashing it . So if people really can be as stupid as you state, then BAN THEM
