Yeap, looks as if the alarm icon is in notify.dll. Unfortunately most sites are blocked by my companies firewall so I'll have a look over the weekend for a decent icon.
Edit
Then again, looking here I think I'd better do some reading up first rather than brick my phone.

It is a "manners mode" indicator. It lets you know that you have the ringer off. Kinda silly (IMO) since the vibrate icon is in the top bar.

There used to be registry hack floating around to get rid of the manners mode. I'd love to get rid of it if I could find it.

Different Colours
Hi,
I tookthe original files posted, and i have applied some different effects to them using Adobe CS3 Masters Suite.
I have enployed an infrared effect over one set, and the other has has a greyscale filter applied to it but i have played with the saturation levels of the colors.
These look better for use with Dark themes, like HTC_Touch Grey and Black Themes
enjoy
sweetboy, that 8 looks as if it is upside down ... maybe got struck by the lightning one too many times?

Also when i go into NRG weather 3.0 options, the text is in cursif, as well as text in other places on the phone, totally unreadable. Anyone know how i can fix these two problems? Sorry if its been answered before, but i have searched, as well as just browsed 1000 posts for hours, cant seem to find a solution. Thx in advance for any help!

Yah I know, I still love this phone over the G1, only thing I wish this phone had was more Ram and of course 3G... that would seal the deal on the phone if it had that...
Fonts worked great! Thanks alot. However i cannot figure out how to delete the CHome_Iconbar_background file. Cannot delete it on the phone, or from the computer. I tried to turn off the iconbar and then delete, and that still didnt seem to work.

Which ROM you using? Guessin Ricky since then it would make sense you can't delete it since it's in the ROM.
If not then turn off the media Top Bar restart then try and delete.
yep, rickys. anyone know if its possible to maybe just disable the background?
Well i found ONE background that would make the bar transparent! So looks good now, not exactly what i wanted, but not bad. Now once i figure out how everyone gets the weather apps integrated with clock/date tab ill be all set

Very interesting question, all i found so far is one for Symbian...
Hi!
After spending a few hours searching for answers for simple things, I have to resort to actually ask here. So please how can I:
1. Change the colour/style of taskbar? I mean for it to resemble W6.1, some application like RC MOD.
2. How do I change the menu size/style to the old one? Or at least smaller?
Thanks!
Probably should try asking in the WinMo subforum or the Kaiser-specific one.
Now I'm playing with HTC Touch Pro 2 (my signature is not update ).
some ideas for you

You could try searching for Vicsoft's UI tweaker. It will let you customise lots of system colours
As for your second question, do you mean the start menu ? when you click on the windows icon on the top left corner of your screen ?
If so, you could try JUVS HTC Enlarge start menu. Again, try searching as I can't remember where I found it

This application?

Is it even possible to get back the old style WM61 bars?
As for my second question I meant pop-up (context) menus, but I'v already found some applications which could help.

Yes, that's the one. Be sure to go through all the menus and make a note of your current colour settings, as once you get started, it's easy to forget what you had before.
Interestingly enough, whilst playing around with this utility, (there are actually 4 combined I think?) I was able to change the background colour on the program and settings page , and the signal bars colour on the task bar from white to cream, even though your not supposed to be able to do that
Never was able to replicate it though after a hard reset because I FORGOT to take a note of my settings
I'm not sure what you mean about the menus, sorry
Good luck

Garrickus

If you can't, then PM me and I'll give you some registry tweaks that will do this.
I like having the "Display Clock on the Title Bar in all programs" option on, so I can keep an eye on the time no matter what is going on, but when using this option the "Battery Meeter" in the Title Bar disappears...I guess it's an either or thing...
Anyone know how to have both?

Flashing a custom WM6.5.x ROM would allow you to have both. Unfortunately, WM6.5 doesn't seem to support both icons in the taskbar at the same time.

There are some great apps that show the battery state across the top of the device as a colored line. Do a search on AvianWavesBattline for that one.
Or I recommend the BattClock program, which allows you to put up a lot of information in the taskbar.
I actually use both...

I use BattClock too and am happy with it - have it showing the time, battery % and free RAM.
