[Complaint] alarm with motion sensor - Touch HD Themes and Apps

Hello,
http://www.dailymotion.com/swf/x6qjo2_nalertme_tech
Sorry I do not speak English ...

Hello,
On my N95 8GB I have an application that nome NAlertMe This allows to lock the phone and if someone takes it rings.
There is also a similar soft on the iphone (it is faster than the reactive n95 but simply move the slide to stop while on the n95 must focus on several occasions his phone (that is adjustable) ).

It is not always useful or necessary, but I want lol!
Do you know if this kind of soft for our HTC HD?

That's awesome. That would be so cool at the office! I normally leave my phone @ my desk and dont know if someone is a bit curious about my SMS messages so I put my phone in my drawer and lock it. This is much better! And it looks cool too.

I am surprised that this can not exist software.
I hope that in the near future someone has the idea of developing it.

Never heard of that SW but would be realy great to have!

Hi

WM 2005 for Qtek 9090

Hi,
Yesterday Microsoft introduced in France Magneto and the device for the demonstration was Qtek 9090.
see : http://www.pocketpcparadise.com/
So i think this rom should exist soon :!:
Well, slap me in the buttocks. I hope someone can dump that ROM and get it for the rest of us!
Is it in French though? I'd hate to have to set my Pocket IE's homepage to http://world.altavista.com/tr.
am i missing something i dont see the picture.

There's no picture of the Qtek in the article (sorry but it is in french) but they say that the device for demonstration was qtek 9090, so i think the rom exists ! But i don't know if it's a french version, i don't think.
You can look here too (french) :

They're speaking about these new ROMS
It was the new HTC universal...
Read the article again:

Translated via Altavista:
While waiting, according to Laurent Dugimont, the first "Windows Telephones" will be marketed starting from the nearest re-entry, with for example PDAPhone HTC Universal which will be marketed near operators like T-Mobile or Orange. However, as of now, of the apparatuses of pocket are currently in the course of "test" with updates towards the new version of the system Windows Mobile 5.0. Thus at the time of the conference of launching of the operating system, this one was gild and already functional on PDAPhone Qtek 9090 but also on Smartphone SPV C500. However, according to Didier Burdinat, although these updates are functional, they will not be proposed, in a gracious or paying way, that in the case of the purchase of a specific licence at Microsoft. Thus, it will be with the various distributors of Windows telephones to choose a marketing policy related to such updates.

Why so sad? It says it is already functional on PDAPhone Qtek 9090. Functional means it works, Qtek 9090 means it's a Blue Angel-specific ROM. Now, we'll just wait and see which carrier or which manufacturer will push it out and the rest of us will get it one way or another. If i-mate won't release it, we can still rest our hopes on other GSM versions from O2, T-Mobile, Qtek, Orange, Siemens, or Vodafone and just adapt it for our own.
G-d Bless the XDA developers!!!! its so funny that all forums are hopeful for the upgrade from XDA rather then there carriers.
You guys Rule!!!!
People say it'll be a matter of months (development + testing + deployment). I'm thinking more on the lines of several weeks. As I said before, you have to consider the fact that they had to have been testing this on established hardware, such as the Qtek 9090 or the Dell Axim x50v. Theoretically, you can't develop software for a developmental hardware device and expect it to be an upgrade for current hardware, as there may be discovered issues that can't be reversed. The simple fact that it was demonstrated on the Qtek 9090 shows basic functionality. It is likely that they had to test their Phone Edition features as well. Whether or not all the extraneous CAB files on the Extended ROM will work is what will take the long haul. MMS? Caller ID? GPRS and Wi-Fi customizations? Album, Bluetooth, etc... You know how hairy it is already with the pre-WM5 ROMs we're playing with now!
However, I don't think we'll be seeing it on the official channels as of yet. Think of the marketing perspective of the hardware developer. If you announce features of a new software upgrade, it is a possibility that it could affect the sales of their future hardware in development. For example, if HTC strongly supported WM5 for all their current hardware, what are the chances that people who were looking toward the HTC Universal simply pick up an older, cheaper generation device from eBay and slap on a cheap WM5 upgrade?
Bottom line? I think it will be leaked, and mamaich will open the floodgates for every other Blue Angel device owner.
P.S. From the last post, it's glad to know there's another fellow Jew on this board.

BeyondtheTech, you are right , I got email back from Dopod/Taiwan , they said will not get WM 5.0 ROM for Dopod 700, they are prepare come out new phone MDA IV in 3Q for WM 5.0 ROM.
you can see here the Blueangel from medc2k5 demo powerpoint...
unfortunately can't see Himalaya picture on it...
aha so this is where you HoFoers are lurking  . MEDC had a demo HTC Universal with Windows Mobile 5.x on it. It didn't have any working demos of the Blue Angel or Himalaya. The Himalaya however was the first reference design to be integrated (it's so simple so less work). Dopod hasn't made efforts to upgrade their devices yet but for some reason, they have certain upgrades available depending on certain individuals.
I'm glad that MS decided to have the new APIs and integrated programming tools built into the new visual studio as well as the WM5.x OS. This simplifies things a LOT. I'm hoping to start using the new APIs soon.
Regarding XDA-Developers and WM5.x upgrades, kudos to the people that make this possible on here. We have cooked ROMs that outperform carrier ROMs. I have to say that I prefer our cooked ROMs opposed to Carrier ROMs. Those that are hoping for carrier upgrades, it IS possible, you just need to get more people willing to pay for the upgrade to provide incentive to carriers to do an upgrade.
Oh okie, I just saw the Blue Angel in the background. It's a stock image
But if I download it somewhere, can I install the WM2005 on my Qtek 9090?

does anyone know may be obex support on bt or not in 2005? or how can can i install obex support over bt in my 9090?
I would not get too excited about iMate releasing a Win Mobile 5 ROM for their products per e-mail reproduced below. I know this relates to the JAM but you could expect that would apply across the range.
"I am sorry to tell you that we are not going to release Windows Mobile 2005 ROM upgrade for the i-mate JAM.
If you have any other queries, please feel free to contact me at any time, I will be glad to assist you.

I don't think anyone can actually be foolish to think imate, or any other carrier, will release a WM5 rom for the Blue Angel. They want us to have to upgrade phones, remember.
TheLastOne you are right, but all new pda has old problems and imate and others don't want to fix them... like OBEX absence over BT... all HTC pda's are without OBEX over BT...

Sensational guys read this news If it were true

It is likely that several devices, including p3600 have an inside receiver for digital terrestrial DVB-T hidden.
You remember the joke at the beginning of GPS, the same thing.
We see what happens Also because the fish are just around the corner (in italy is the first use of April make jokes called fish April).
ciao / bye
April Fools ha?
Very nice big fish !!!

HD mini
Hello,
HTC hd mini does not have compass and not have led light ....
May be i will buy an HTC DESIRE.
@+++
What I read in specs is that the Mini DOES have a digital compass...
For Chris1974
Hello,
Sorry Htc hd mini doesn't have any Digital Compass, i call HTC customers and HTC confirm there is no Digitale Compass on HTC HD MINI.
Look at the offcial Web site on www.htc.com there is no mention of Digital Compass
@++++
Not in any official spec sheets.
Hhhmmmmmzzz... That is strange...
On this site: http://www.pdashop.nl/product/91209/htc-hd-mini-uk.html which is usually pretty reliable it is mentioned that it does have a compass
In dutch:
Nooit de weg kwijt
Reist u regelmatig? (a built in compass)
It's possible there originally was one planned; it wouldn't be the first time HTC took out a feature during development.
Could be that there is one in it but not activated yet......in some threads of other devices there pops up regularly a "hidden" feature......can be activated by changing registry.....perhaps one of the early owners can check...
The qualcomm chips for sure are able to handle this feature.....
No. There is no digital compass in HD mini.
Officially the mini does not have a digital compass on board. But since so many websites mention that it does have one, it looks to me that it was originally intended to have one.
Would this be a case of a "hidden feature"??? Is it actually in the device but not turned on?
Would be nice if someone could search through the register to see if compass registry settings are there???
