Three questions from a newbie

Hi all...
I'm new to the diamond Roms. I have two questions:
#1
I have ordered a diamond t-mobile branded aka T-Mobile MDA Compact IV.
I have heard that the hardware is the same. Is it true i can flash one of the really cool custom roms?
#2
Whats the best custom rom in general? What i like is that there a a few extra's and it has one of the news versions of the os.
#3
Whats the best version radio rom? Because i read very different things on threats. Witch version should i get?
btw sorry for the bad English
#1 yes, as far as i know
#2.. you just got to try and see which one suits you best. There's a benchmark thread somewhere around here if you want to compare performance benchmarks before you flash..
#1: yes
#2: there is no "best" custom rom. It depends on what do you prefer.
#2: all roms are basically the same in terms of speed (unless you choose a lite rom) so just go for which has the programs you require!
#1 Yes
#2 Panosha Shine On 2.0 at the moment
#3 .05

#2 I prefer Panosha's ROM bcoz of the nice GUI and stability, but Dutty's ROM is also a very nice one
#3 absolutly stable, fast GPS fix and highly recommended

I was on Panosha 1.7 then went to 2.0, and then went to Dutty's after that. At the moment i prefer Dutty's as it's a clean and standard ROM which has everything i need, and its definatley nice having the programs folder into proper categories not a mess like stock roms
Is there a over clock program available for the diamond?

From someone who's never experimented much with custom ROMs, I see Dutty's everywhere it seems, tons of people use it. There must be a good reason, yes? ;-)

I've never seen one spoken of, I'll run a quick search and if I find anything I'll post it here.
Here's what I came up with, check it out and see if you like it:
Code:
http://www.4shared.com/file/28476410/32f89328/Performance.html
Unfortunately I can't test it myself, good luck.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igRAl0swRsI&feature=fvst
Its been known for a few days now. If you want to give it a go, try dutty's leo r1 rom. Its surprisingly stable.
if you want to try the new version miri got the packages for manila 2.5 with weather on home tab (aka manila 2.6)
do you have new calendar options with the Miri Rom? that is one good point of version 2.6

Some roms don't have it as it was specifically left out as some users prefer Titanium, but there is also no cab to just add TF3D back in. That's why there are separate roms, either with it cooked in or without it.
If it was just a cab required, the chefs would surely release versions without it and then just provide a choice of manila via a cab.

uh yeah, i'm VERY sure! its been discussed and addressed many times. just because a ROM doesn't have it doesn't mean it can be installed.

read the ROM threads. do yourself and others in the community a favor: read, learn, pick a ROM, test it and contribute by providing constructive feedback. asking us to suggest a ROM is a sure way to get this thread closed (uh ooooooh. i can see Fallen Spartan making his way here now, lol).

Well the only 1 I know of is miri's one (Rev7.0 and 7.1), but they are not bug free. they are stable, but still not 100% bug free.
Dutty also has one, Leo R1, which includes some of the features, but does not have the weather clock like miri.

Need a Fast Rom 6.5 For HTC Touch Diamond ( 256 Rom / 128 Ram )

I need a fast 6.5 Rom for HTC Diamond,
looking for a WWE Version or Romanian Version, ( a clean version / normal version )
and less comsumption Ram in Programs.
yeah, i'm also searching WM 6.5 ROM with all "Nice and Shiny" removed - to free up RAM and to save battery. All glittering TOUCHFLO / Modified menus etc. should be removed. Just very lite and basic WM 6.5
some sort of super light rom would be great!
hi guys,
i recommend donsalari clean basic rom.

The rom is Don Salari [SuperLite v1.0] [30/4/2010] Titanium
The file 'QuickGPS' cannot be opened.Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persist, try reinstalling or restoring this file.
And i have 4 version of QuickGPS :
1. HTC QuickGPS 1_00_220821_00.CAB
2. quickgps_1815.2630.2.cab
3. QuickGPS_1_1_19173021_01.cab
4. QuickGPS_Vga_by_Swtos.cab
None of them go, after I installed I did soft reset and nothing.

I am a Chinese too, and I have to say that your English is very poor and your Chinglish is outstanding.
BTW, currently there is no rom can be flashed into the DIAMOND, and the only method you can use is to simulate an android through the haret.
