sd card in xdaii is seeing a fraction of its size

I have the o2 xdaii and a 512mb sd memory card in it which in memory storage card properties reports it as 487.89mb. But even when i format the card put it in the xda ii, I still can not copy anything larger then aprox 200mb: where is the extra 312mb going?
Try transferring the files after formatting with a card reader/writer, there seems to be a problem with large files over activesync.

Need help sd card format

I ve using pocket mechanic to format my sd card in fat32 instead of FAT. Now i can t see my sd card anymore. I ve been trying to format it again but none of them reveal my sd card.

Your Artimis can read Fat 32. When I used a Fat 32 format with the card IN the device I had to do a soft re-set before the card appeared.

partition memory card?

Hi,
since my orbit wont accept a 4GB memory card, is it possible to partition a 4GB into two 2GB partitions and have them both accessible?
Have you tried this?

Micro sd problem

I've just bought a desire(used) with a used 8gb micro sdhc.
The phone wont read the 8gb sdhc, but it read my ****ty 2gb sd...I thought that the sdhc was broken but my notebook can read it .-.
try partitioning the SD card from your phone because i think it might be a different partition from what your phone accepts (FAT32 for Desire)
Make a fat32 format Gparted CD and everything will be fine!

If you have a pc or laptop try to format in fat 32 has work for me
that 64 GB can be formatted only NTFS or exFAT, today I'm going to buy SanDisk 16 GB class 10 and test it
I purchased 16 GB Sandisk Ultra class 10 and after factory reset card is finally recognized, problem solved
