So I updated the Clock to look like the swiss railway clocks, theres no second hand so I made the minute hand the red one. update.zip only has Launcher.apk and the only files changed are the clock dial, minute hand, and hour hand. I have no idea if you have to wipe to insall, I didn't, but I had already installed a skin. Anyone wants to use it in your skin, go for it...

The only file it updates is Launcher.apk, however that does hold a handful of icons updated in the blue star 5 theme, which is the only theme I downloaded. What theme are you using? I'll download it and have a look.

ok, I added the clock skin to the trial by fire skin, check the link in the first post and download the 8.99mb file.
I didn't test it though, so try at your own risk
It crashed me in ADP1 but I switched over to RC30 and it worked fine. Thank you!

hey Circa....I've got a question. you said this is just the Launcher.apk with icons right?
so if I installed lets say the Blue Star 5 theme, and then install the 8.99mb version for the Trial-by-fire theme, Would i have the Blue Star 5 theme WITH the Icons from Trial-by-Fire?
The 8.99mb version is the full trial by fire theme with my clock skin added... in retrospect I could have just added my clock to trial by fires launcher.apk and made another small update.zip which would have made it only overwrite the things contained in the bluestar 5's launcher.apk

Bricked my phone when I installed the theme. Any ideas how to fix this? I tried doing a system wipe but doesn't work.
Can you post the background? For some reason the background doesn't show up on my phone anywhere.
Fixed it. I had to reload my sdcard on a blackberry and reapply a different theme.

This Theme was made by Octoberriot for RC30 LINK.
I liked it so much, now i ported it to RC33
In this theme, are custom made clock widget, status bar, pull down bar and Fonts.
For now there are no application icons in the theme.
note: if you install this, the fonts are going to be there permanently unless you hard reset, or flash one of JFs updates.

I love it! Icons are overrated, and I am more than happy with just he font change. When you start customizing the icons too much I think the rest of your download app icons look way out of place. This theme gives a good balance of stock and customization.
Is there anyway to get a normal font in the browser??

I really like the font, but when I installed it onto my phone I thought it was a bit to overwhelming. It was just to much on your face. Great Job though I must say. You don't have to hard reset though. All you have to do is get the original fonts from a theme and drag into the folder. It will replace the comic sans and then just update your phone!

Dude, this thread was in 2009, RC33 was the platform before cupcake, which was before donut, which is what 4.2.15.1 is based on, with bits of eclair. That said, this theme is incredibly outdated, and quite frankly, don't know how you find it appealing compared to all the ones that are compatible with your ROM.

done. dunno about adp1.1 though still kinda new to this.
added some new things and fixed the android boot
updated to v1.5 same as before any errors let me know...final should be around shortly.

Hey all. My friend just got his Magic last week, and we thought we'd give themeing the Magic a shot. This port/theme is based on haykuro's Rogers rev2 ROM found here. It's just a half assed port, at best, meaning that you'll have to fix icons and the clock etc yourself, using a home alternative and/or BetterCut. This pretty muck only themes the statusbar, the statusbar notifications and the menus.

Just thought I'd post it here since Magic themes in this section are few and far apart. As of now it's not a proper theme as it's just a modification of the files in the complete Rogers ROM, including boot.img and all that.. which means the update file is roughly 55MB instead of the normal ~10MB for a theme.

Yeah, it's by all means not a complete theme. Just a proof of concept, if you will. I wanted to try Magic themeing out.
It's unlikely I'll ever finish it.

is it possible to make black clean themes and use simple clean icons like the iphones. i do have an iphone but im in love with android so im not an oh my god i love iphone , just that the UI is so clean....Androids is very good as well but id like to have it cleaner, no fancy nothin simple black grey and white. Throw some cool orange/yellow in there.

Update: 18th 10 2009 22:58UK added 4.0.4 and 4.1.999 versions.
I know this is for an older version of cyanogen's ROM but this is still the version I'm running, this theme is for Cyanogen ROM 4.1.11.1, the last release before it all got 'interesting'.
I've called this 'MarksTheme' because I'm Mark, and I made most of this theme.
I say 'most' because I took some from Enoch and EnochX, some from m_blend (loving the red), and added a load of my own Icons.
The wallpaper you see in the screenshots isn't included, it's one of my photographs (I do that kind of photography for a living).
Credits to the makers of both, particularly Enoch and EnochX which got me started
I will update this to whatever version of cyanogen ROM I happen to be using, if you want to use it with another version you can strip the icons out of the zip file and put them into a template or another theme made for another version of the ROM.
I will also tweak and play with this version whenever the mood takes me and time allows.
This theme uses the standard launcher with 5 screens, I found the advanced launcher still a bit laggy.
