Hi everyone and good year!
I bought the lc1 by Lubix bluetooth headset, good sound quality, immediate piring, buti have a BIG problem:
calling, i have to wait 1 ring, then the call is in my headset. Answering instead needs me to wait a pair of seconds and the conversation starts on the phone and LATER goes to the headset. I hope only a small configuration adjustment is needed......

Is anyone here experiencing a lag of 2-5 secs when making or answering a call with a Jabra BT800 & XDA IIs ?
I can't speak for that exact combination, but if I'm using my headset (a Logitech one) with either my XDA IIs or C500, there are noticable delays between the call registering as incoming on the handsets, and the initiation of the bluetooth "intercept" of that call. I guess it's down to the BT stack of the handset needing to
a) Recognise that there's a call coming in
b) Check that there's a BT headset paired and active
c) Send an incoming call signal to the headset
d) Wait for the headset to respond
e) Pair securely on an uncluttered frequency with the headset
In an ideal world, all of this would be instantaneous
There's also a pause of about 1 second between the time I press the 'answer' button on my headset and when I can talk. Even though I can hear the call in the earpiece, I have to wait for a second before I can say "hello"
In short; I'd say a two second overall delay is probably the time taken for the bluetooth headset initiation to complete, but longer than this might indicate some problems with signal strength etc.
Can the XDA2s phone be configured to produce loud audio so it can be used as a handsfree speakerphone? The audio from Fonix Voice Dialler is loud but as soon as a call connects it drops to telephone levels.

Yes, during the call, press and hold the green phone key for 2 secs.
I tend to dial the no, soon as it rings, press & hold green key for 2-3 secs till i can hear the ringing. Not bad too.
Thanks.

R O F L, so I have had my MDA3 for almost a year now and ALL THIS TIME I was thinking why in the world would MDA3 not have a speakerphone since my last H6315 (hp) had a neat little icon for speakerphone right by the "talk" button.
Thanks for posting this!!!!
This can also be achieved programatically

as far as I know all MS smartphones and pdaphones have all had this same functionality since the release of WM 2002
Actually the speakerphone is very device dependent. So we should be more concerned on the features HTC has to offer then Microsoft.
Still speakerphone is a must, so i doubt that it wouldnt be included on a phone-capable device.
I have a HTC Touch Dual.
I just bought a bluetooth headset (SE DS220) which is working great - I listen to music and take/ring calls. However i have two strange issues I wonder if it is possible to fix:
1. While I am using the bluetooth headset my phone still rings if I receive an incoming call - I would like for the phone to be silent and for it to "ring" in my headset. If I turn off the sound in my phone then I can't listen to music either.
2. When I receive an incoming call I have to answer it with the button on the bluetooth unit - if I answer with the phone then the call is switched to the phones speakers. Is it possible to change this behaviour?
Thanks in advance!

I have the i-mate JASJAM (i.e. Hermes) which has A2DP. I bought the Jabra BT8010 stereo headset with headset profile and stereo profile. When I pair the two, every sound from the phone automatically gets transferred to the headset, which means the phone doesn't ring because the ringtone is also transferred. If I don't have the headset on I don't hear the phone ring.
I spoke to Jabra, they said I have to configure the phone somehow because the headset "just accepts whatever the phone sends".
Any ideas?
hey, same problem here
i have tried a few A2DP headsets(from other manufacturers)and with all of them the ring is streamed to the headset!
can any one help?
Are you kidding me? that's just one of the best things. How else do you know when you have a call when listening music? And why leave the headset paired when you don't use it? if you don't listen to music don't switch on the headset.
I don't always have my headset on my ear, I want the phone to ring. If the headset is disconnected, the phone doesn't always transfer an existing call to the headset if I turn on the headset only after the call has started.
So, I want to know if there is a way not to transfer the call ring (and all other device sound besides the call itself) to the headset...
hi Tsabar
Is the duration of your ringtone set to max?
My ameo rings over BT via my sony BT headphones and then rings half way thru via the phone's loud speaker

yeah, it just keeps ringing in the headset only
I would also like to know how to make the phone ring when the head set is plugged in.
I don't always have the headset in my ears but still want to hear the phone ring. There must be a setting to allow this somewhere.
Any ideas?
exact same problem here
using a htc mozart .. my bt head set picks up all sound, not only music and convo.. so i dont hear if someone calls me unless i wear my headset in my office at all times or turn it off with the need to turn it on (waiting forsync) whenever someone calls me...
thats absolutely stupid, who is the numbwit at Microsoft that got that idea?
actually the sounds (and lack of profiles realy need some work) im using this phone as a 3g business phone including mail, and evrything else..
now im also using the alarm feature but guess what you cannot make it "alarm only" you have to accept all the stupid notification sounds if you want to hear the sound of the alarm.. or like me disable the notifications from t.ex mails to avoi being woken up at night from that.. its so lame.
i can see that a low of features could be refactored on modern dauy phones.. but the win 7 mobile realy disnt do the job (yet).. i would rather wait for office support if i could have profiles..
another realy lousy thing is that you have to buy office 2010 including outlook to sync contacts ..older versions DONT work
If I'm using my BT headset and a 2nd call comes in I only hear a single quiet beep. The phone screen doesn't come on usually during a 2nd call, but it does sometimes.
I'm on Net10
Is their any way to make it make more notifications when a 2nd call is coming through?
