need a little help with smartskey

I am using smartskey with my TyTn for the shortcuts using the dpad in the phone application. However, after installing pocket informant, when I press right on dpad for contact shortcut I get nothing. Call history, speed dial, and messaging shortcuts work fine. Can I make a registry edit to get the pocket informant contact application to show when pressing the dpad right shortcut and if not that, how can I get the orginal to show.. thanks.

Pocket Informant 2007 loading after soft reset

Hi all,
After every soft reset Pocket Informant starts in the agenda view.
Is there someone who knows how to stop this, I already checked the startup folder!

I think you can remove poutlook.lnk from the startup folder since it's a shortcut to pocket informant.

quick dialer from cube as a .cab?

anyone know of a cab file for the quick dial contacts screen/page of the cube. it's all use the cube for, so i'd like to just have my other favorites (main ones being on home) mapped to a button. just press and it's there, without the cube animation etc.

I have the same question (1.5 years later). Is there a standalone version of the QuickDial application from the HTC Cube (without TouchFlo and without the Cube)? I would like to call it from a shortcut on the today screen so that I can dial favorite contacts safely while driving. (A VGA version would be even better.)

BTW: I know that TF3D has a similar contacts dialer, but I have TF3D disabled because...
1) I can't customize the TF3D home screen to suite my needs
2) The device lock doesn't work in TF3D with device pin protection enabled, but the regular WM6.1 "Today Screen" device lock does work.
If someone knows how to bring-up the TF3D contacts screen with TF3D disabled, then that would work for me.

Tf3d manilla questions

I came from a 6800 and had it just about perfect for me. The TP2 is my first time using TF3D. Is Manilla basically custom versions of TF3D?
I was also using many SPB apps. Phone suite, Pocket Plus to name a few. Pocket Informant for my calendar. Will I still be able to use these with TF3D?
The widgets are like add-ons to get it the way you want?

"Manila" is the codename for TF3D. Basically these terms are often interchangeable.
TF3D is essentially a Today Screen plugin. If you have it enabled, you will not be able to see other Today Screen plugins. So, Phone Suite will work but you won't be able to easily access it's settings. Pocket Plus would not be very useful if TF3D is enabled. Not sure about Pocket Informant and how it integrates into the default Calendar app, so I'll let others get into that.

Left softkey opening Programs

Can be one of the softkeys mapped to open the Programs list - the default WM 6.1 program list. I'm not using TouchFlo, nor any other shell. I'm using Resco Contact Manager with its Today plugin and this functionality is only thing missing to have my HD really touch-friendly and lightning fast.
Please, advice. Thanks.
