I've seen many threads about installing wm 6.1 on different devices.
Had anybody tried it with cavalier?
It seems that Excalibur version of wm 6.1 should be compatible with Cavalier.
Anybody has an experience before I start to rape my own device?

If you try Excalibur WM6.1, you'll end up with an expensive brick!

This is really sad the the Cavalier is the better device than the Excalibur, yet we have no 6.1 Rom. I know there are a million more dashes out there, but how hard would it be for someone to move the 6.1 Rom on the Excalibur board over to the Cavalier?

First of all, to get WM6.1 on our Cavaliers we need to buypass CID lock, which for the moment we can't do as there's no sspl or whatever for Cavalier!
Second, after the first part is done, we need to port WM6.1 to Cavalier which is not easy so basicly we need a developer who has in its possession a HTC Cavalier!

Wow, i can't believe there's not even a hint of development yet. There's got to be some good developer out there who can cook a 6.1 rom for us!
Current problem is CID unlock.only SuperCID can flashing!!

I am new to this site and I am just looking for the form or a link to upgrage my 8125 from wm5 to wm6. It looks way cool and I would like to try it out. Any help would be great.
Have HP Ipaq 2790b. Have WM 6.1 Classic and I want to Upgrade to Wm 6.1 Professional. Is there such a link? Is this new WM 6.5 be able to work on the regular PDA?
