I´d like to habve the ´background in all tabs´. I found the thread about, or lets say the threads .
But i can´t replace the manilafile with my own pic.
When i try to do so, manila-editor gives me an error.
I dont know why, i do everything like it is said in the threads.

I dont want to make you type a ton (but I dont want to type a bunch of instructions either ) so what exactly have you tried? All you should need is total commander and the will to copy/paste
ok, lets try make it short.
I downloaded the ´background in all tabs´, with 4a087e41_manila and 5c9aa261_manila files in it. I started the manila-editor and opend the folder with this files. now i can chose the 4a08....file. editor now gives me the possibilty to -save as- or -replace- . I just try to replace the manilafile with my own pic. so i just browse for my pic and press ok. but then it gives me an error. i cant translate this error showing in english, sry, but maybe i just do something wrong.
As far as i know i need the totalcommander to copy/paste the files into my HD. but i need to replace my own image first.

Without knowing the error its impossible to help you out. Post a screenshot. If its german, many people here are native speakers.

I have never seen that lol. This looks like a windows error though, not a manila editor problem. I regret to say that i don't even know where to start with that. My best guess would be to start with windows update and grab all the updates you can (i see some .Net framework errors as an example. Maybe your version inst current).
Also, tell us abotu the image you are trying to put into the file. What is it, png, jpg, gif, .....? What size is it? I doubt the image is the problem but with all that you posted we need to start somewhere

yes, looks like some system issue. The message clearly states:
Der Zugriff auf den Pfad C:\lut1.lut wurde verweigert.
which translates to: access to path C:\lut1.lut is denied.
Could be a number of reasons, so only generic tips are possible.
- best guess: try to run the app as administrator - i remember there is a way to do so but not exactly how. Its been a while i've playing with vista though.
- check if this file already exists and has r/o or system attribute or something
- run chkdsk to ensure your directory structure on C: is correct
- try to create a file with that name manually, can you do that? If yes, maybe its just the application which isnt allowed (as its vista, i've no idea where to start looking for rights)
As far as manilaeditor is concerned, i cant run it off a networked drive (although mapped a driveletter), but runs fine from a local disc. Seems to be a bit tricky with some configurations.

Just so you know, the image size has to be 256x256 for the background 4 all tabs and PNG format works best for me. try to resize your image to that size and let us know what happens

right click manila editor executable and select "run as administrator"

i use secondtoday in conjuction with homescreen++ - to give me the following result
i run second today on my HD, I use it for my dual sim app so i can use tf3d but check the second today screen for sim info & swopping
I use it on my HD as well (keeping TF3D on the "real" today screen) and it works fine!

Sure thing! (English version below)
Du musst Dir SecondToday herunterladen und installieren. Dann kannst Du diesen "virtuellen" zweiten Today-Screen öffnen, in dem Du die entsprechende Verknüpfung im Start Menü wählst. Wenn ich mich recht erinnere, fragt Dich SecondToday beim ersten Öffnen automatisch, welche Today-Plugins Du benutzen willst: Also hier einfach diejenigen auswählen, die Du auf dem "virtuellen" Today-Screen haben willst. Ich weiß nicht, ob es möglich ist, TF3D auf SecondToday laufen zu lassen - aber ich glaube eher nicht.
Dann zum Tab "Soft Keys" wechseln um die entsprechenden Soft Keys zu verändern. Leider ist dieses Menü etwas verwirrend gemacht: Oben rechts wählst Du aus, welchen Soft Key Du ändern möchtest (den in SecondToday oder den in Manila?) oben links ob es der linke oder rechte sein soll. Unter "Title" kannst Du angeben, was auf dem Soft Key stehen soll. "Path to Program" einfach so lassen, wie's ist. Dann einfach "Apply to Registry" clicken.
Beispiel:
Du willst mit dem linken Soft Key in TF3D (auf dem echten TodayScreen) zu SecondToday wechseln und in SecondToday ebenfalls den linken Soft Key benutzen, um SecondToday wieder verschwinden und TF3D auftauchen zu lassen. Einfach einmal den Haken bei Second Today lassen und apply clicken, einmal den Haken bei Manila 3D oder 2D setzen und apply clicken. Fertig!

ENGLISH VERSION:
Download and install SecondToday. You can now launch and switch to this "virtual" today screen by openening the corresponding link in the start menu. As far as I remember, SecondToday will automatically ask you for the today plugins you want to have running on it upon first running the app. Just select the plugins you want. I'm not sure if it is possible to run TF3D on the "virtual" today screen - but probably not.
Now switch to the "Soft Keys" menu to set up the soft keys to be able to switch between the real and the virtual today screen. This menu is slightly confusing: Top right you select which soft key you want to change - the one in TF3D or the one on Second Today? "Title" defines the label of the soft key and the entry in "Path to Program" shouldn't be changed. Set everything the way you want it and hit "apply to registry".
An example:
You want to use the left soft-key to switch from TF3D to the virtual screen and also the left soft-key to go back to TF3D: Just tick "Second Today" once and hit apply and hit the corresponding Manila bix once and hit apply. That's it!

run step 2. PKTool.cmd
look in the C:\VGA-GPS\SYS Folder, and delete Folder SampeMusik
run the next steps, and create a G710.NEW.IMG for Flash

auch D, Du hast auch das Problem mit dem ROM dass keine Einstellungen im vda verändert werden können ? , sonst funktioniert alles gut.
Bei der Beta2 von powerbyte kann ich die Einstellungen verändern, nur leider gehen die Ringtones nicht.

Ja, bei mir sieht es genau so aus.
Werde mal versuchen, ob man der Beta2 die fehlenden sachen aus der "finalen" Version von powerbyte einfügen kann. Evtl. hilft auch ein weiteres entfernen von dateien aus der Version von Powerbyte, da die Größe auch ohne samplemusic noch grenzwertig ist.
@Powerbyte, vielleicht hast du ja mittlerweile auch eine lauffähige Version.

die idee mit dem schrumpfen hatte ich auch schon weil ich dachet er hätte keinen Platz mehr die Konfiguration zu schreiben, hab das img bis auf 44MB verkleinert, hat aber nichts gebracht.

With this code it does start...
But I'd also like to insert badaBoard LITE into menu...
I inserted it into CSC file like "kaufDa"- & "HRS"-App (from German LA1) but it does't appear...

It is not really a "Default"-Application...
I picked the folder from my Wave II with sTune after downloading from app store...
With permission from the developers I'd like to integrate "badaBoard LITE" into my CFW...
I also put the folder into CSC file...
But after flashing it does not apper...
But the other two apps are visible...

Du weißt aber schon. Das das nicht geht. In einer ungehackten Firmware...
Die Apps aus der Firmware sind mit einem anderen Certificate signiert...
Das 2. Cert ist aus dem SDK...
Das 3. ist nur für den Store...

Hatte gehofft, dass das ähnlich funktioniert wie mit Polaris. Nur,... pack ich das in die ShpApp.app, bekomm ich ne Bootschleife...
Bau ich es in die CSC ein, wird es trotzdem nicht angezeigt, wie die beiden vorinstallierten aus der DBT...

Na Du kannst maximal 2 verschiedene signierte Versionen haben...
Die aus dem Store, die wir alle ziehen konnten...
Und eine mit dem bada SDK signierte...

Ich habe mir fast 2 Jahre die Zähne ausgebissen. Das d. SDK Zert in die FW zu integrieren...
Ich habe es bis heute NICHT gebacken bekommen.
Ob es mit dem, was Du so verabscheust funktioniert. Weiß ich nicht.
Aber Standarmäßig ist es unterbunden, andere Zerts in die FW einzuarbeiten.
So das Du keine Samples oder selbst signierte Apps preinstallen kannst...
Also ich kanns wie gesagt nicht.

One of those is installing app on SD card
During download you will see OAP file created in /Mount/MMC/Others/DownloadedAppPackages/
Wait until download of the app is complete
During app install copy final OAP file (refresh from a while to another the folder)

The issue is the original OTC updater was compiled for old .net version, which does not support encryption currently used on microsoft servers.
I have recompiled the binary (otcupdater.exe) with .net 4.7 which should support tls 1.2 and newer, so it does not require editing the registry.

my "Amazon Alexa" App on my Philips 55PUS7354 (Software Version TPM191E_R.001.004.100.000 / Android 9) suddenly stopped working (infinite loading circle)
Different approaches to get that thing working again ended with no luck.
Philips-Support... Well... I emailed them but, yea, they are no help here.....
After countless hours with factory resets, wiping the /data partition, reinstalling firmware via usb, "Wiresharking" the network activity, I came to the conclussion that
I must be a problem with the app itself.
It´s a system app shipping within the firmware-package.

Mein TV (PUS7354) ist ein 2019er Modell.
Die Firmware 101.2.98.0 scheint aber nur für die 2020er Modelle zu sein.
Laut deiner Seite ist die Firmware 1.4.100.0 für mein Modell die aktuellste...
Die Firmwarebezeichnung "TPM191E" ist allerdings gleich, heißt das ich kann die 191.2.98.0 trotzdem installieren ?

2019er und 2020er TVs nutzen dieselbe Firmware. Auf den Servern liegen halt nur die alten Versionen. Du kannst ja mal direkt am TV nach einer neuen Version suchen. Wenn da nichts kommt, nimmst du die 101.2.98.0

ist zwar schon eine Weile her, aber wollte dir trotzdem eine Rückmeldung zum Thema geben:
Nachdem ein Upgrade auf die aktuellste Firmware (in diesem Fall die 101.2.98.0) und diverse Resets usw. nicht den erwünschten Erfolg gebracht haben, habe ich das Thema erstmal eine Weile ruhen lassen, der TV hatte ja bis auf die Alexa App normal funktioniert...
Gestern Abend hat´s mich dann doch nochmal gepackt und ich habe es mal mit der aktuellsten "upgrade_loader.pkg" (101.2.22.2) von deiner Seite probiert und siehe da, nun funktioniert wieder alles !
Was ist dieser Upgrade-Loader eigentlich genau ? Der scheint ja mehr "platt" zu machen als "herkömmliche" Updates.
Übrigens, danke für deine geniale Seite und das du da so viel Energie rein steckst, wirklich Top !
