Are there any more tutorials on how to start?
When I start, Im confused by which ROM to use, can I use any ROM to start ? (IE Duttys) or do I have to use a special ROM?
Whats all this im seeing about HD ROMS?

duttys roms are locked, u cant recook them, aztor roms are not locked.
the best is to use original htc roms as base rom, and them combine it with latest sys build and drivers etc.
How do i know wich rom is locked?
the best ask the rom shef and probably they will answer u
regarding HD, the rom shefs try to combine and port new HD drivers and apps etc.

Hello everyone.
I'm new to this and been reading around, playing with different stuff.
Just finish unlocking my Vogue and now looking for 2 or 3 roms to try.
1. Latest Stable Custom ROM (WM 6.1)
2. Latest Stable OEM Rom (for emergency)
I don't know whats the difference really, but I think I want to try the WM 6.1 Roms, but I been noticing there are so many of them in different forums. I don't know what to do, and it seems most of them are experimental and stuff.
I notice, doing all this process will cause people to go all over everything they done to their phone before (Tweaks im talking about)

I´m try to install a lot of ROMs in my HTC Touch HD, and i have no success.
It is very unstable and still this problem with the colors.
I try to install the original ROM from HTC website and the same thing happened.
I install the 3 news ROMs from DuttyThroy (v3.3) and again, the same thing happened.

quite a newbie as well. but you just have to read the forum. in the ROM development of your device you see that the HardSpl is not yet done. This one is needed if you want to flash cooked ROMs.
There's also plenty of threads about flashing ROMs and everything is explained properly.

I'm quite new to all of this, however i have updated my Xda Obrit to wm6.5. I have tried a couple of wm6.5 roms, found each good for different reasons and wanted to know if you can blend parts of different roms together to create on ultimate rom? and i so how could i do it?
lol yes, u can make your own rom.. the forum is filled with custom made roms, and that is what u want too
i suggest u start reading a lot on how to make a ROM. there are some tutorials posted on the artemis forums

I have rooted my desire already.
Would like to make roms to match my own needs.
Any tutorial for making it?
Also what tools do I need as well.
Currently I have a Macbook Pro to use, can use VMWare Fusion whenever need to use Windows/Linux.

Been there and look at them , but then doesnt have a kitchen for Desire though.
But I found 2 website about create a rom for android.
I have download a few roms for desire and having a look at them currently.
I hope I would be able to figure out to make roms for desire soon.
