remote as in remote control for your tv? If so have you tried Nevo remote? Works very well as a universal remote and you get a lot of options. I had it on my old HP and it was fantastic.

Google Gremote, and download the free version. It's pretty awesome. You just need to tweak the mousepad settings, then get used to how it works.

with your ps3 how much control do you have because i am wanting to have my x1 control my ps3. I am hoping there is a way to have a remote play function set up on my phone so you could control the ps3 and stream content over the web like a PSP.
I'm trying to figure out the best method/program to use to launch an application on my desktop from my phone. I've been using the XBMC remote a lot but I still need to walk over to my PC to start XBMC if it's not running.
I know I can use a remote desktop application but I thought I would ask here first if anyone knows of a simpler solution.
Thanks!
Has anyone got a remote control app to work on ICS yet? I've tried:
My Mobiler
Remote VNC Server
Remote Control Add-on
Remote Web Desktop
And none of them work in ICS...
I have used this app in the past, but have not tried it with ICS. It is call Webkey

Teamviewer works great with ICS on tablets and phones.

Now you can try our new app, VMLite VNC Server, people are liking it. You can view and control your phone remotely, works very well on Eclair and up, including ICS and JellyBean

I've found this browser https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=lex.com.webbrowser&hl=en which should work well with the aftv remote control.
Did anybody try that ?
Does anybody have the apk to sideload, cause I can't find a way to download it
I think the best way to use a browser on the FTV is in combination with a remote app or keyboard mouse combo

You can install it in your phone, then use agk fire to push it to the AFTV stick.
I'm currently using Firefox and it works ok with the mouse toggle app.
